I needed to get blood work done for my insurance company, which they have a partnership with. In the past, I have gone to their clinic located in Dunwoody, GA, and have always had a pleasant experience there. This location was not as pleasant. So I arrived at 10:33 am and my appt was for 10:10am, so I was late. It was not a big deal because they take walk ins. I simply needed to make an appointment to ensure the location had my paperwork when i arrived. I walked into a completely empty room, and no patients at all were waiting. There were 4 women behind the window having a conversation. They glanced at me when I walked in, said nothing, and then went back to the conversation. I proceeded to go to the kiosk located right in front of the window and signed in. The computer allowed me to choose a walk-in appointment since I was late. The next available appt was 11am, but the computer said they would call me when they were able to. I sat down, and 15 minutes later, one of the women called my name, and I walked over to the window, giving her my insurance card and ID. Once everything was scanned, she called me to the back. My interaction with the woman was good. She was amicable and got straight to business. She did the exam and blood work with care, and I was in and out within 10 minutes. The exam room and the entire clinic seemed dirty. I could smell the bathroom just sitting in the room across from it. A little paint and bleach go a long way. It must have been a slow day because I did not see any patients at the facility during my entire visit. Overall, it was an ok experience. I was able to get what I needed done. If I lived in the area and needed to go back to Quest Diagnostics, I would probably choose another location.

This review is in regard to my experience from last year back when COVID testing were hard to find…read more I made an appointment for my mom who started experiencing discomfort in one of her ears. We arrived and was told to leave without them even taking a look at her ear. We were told THE SAME DAY of our appointment that to be able to enter the clinic, we needed a negative covid test result. We're in a middle of a pandemic and scheduling a covid test is very hard and takes time, so why was this not mentioned to me sooner? Nowhere on their kiosk checking machine or any of my confirmation emails for this appointment mentioned anything about it. Of course I didn't have a random negative covid test result to show them. They probably suspected that she had covid because I put in fever as one of her symptoms. I ended up taking her somewhere else and they confirmed that she has an ear infection and fever is a very common symptom for that. My mom would've been diagnosed and treated sooner had the people here acted more logically.

I made a same day weekday appointment for 3pm. Checked in a little late (around 10 mins after…read moreappointment time, 310pm). I had to pay for services right when I checked in. I waited around 1 hour in the waiting room before being brought back, around 410pm. I waited in the back for about an hour before being seen by a provider, around 510pm. The motion sensor lights in the room literally turned off like 3 times because I laid there waiting for so long. I was seen by the provider for less than 10 minutes total. I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere afterwards, but if I did have plans after my appointment they would've been severely delayed. The front desk staff, nursing/ medical assisting staff and the PA seemed professional and friendly. Though the extended wait times with uncertainty of when I'd be seen rubbed me the wrong way. There wasn't a clear estimate given about the wait time, but I was told there were maybe 3 people ahead of me. I also overheard through the door something about how I was supposed to be seen before someone else, but "Oh well". That was the tipping point. Way too blasé, like it happens all the time, I guess? A suggestion is putting in a better system to avoid seeing patients out of order and causing others to wait longer unnecessarily? There weren't clear instructions given about what to do if symptoms persisted even after medication or other treatment options provided. Or possible explanations about why I had this problem. Just "Oh so this is what's happening, and here's some medication I can write for you. Okay, thanks. Bye."

I feel very confident when I say that your experience at most urgent care facilities SUCKS, but…read morethis one stands apart. They are quick to see you, are kind, provide updates on the length of time you'll be waiting, etc. They don't simply do perfunctory testing, but also examine you and make an effort to understand your symptoms. Wait times can be long but you go in eyes wide open on the length of time you'll be there vs. others where you'll sit in the waiting room AND the examine room for hours without any updates.

To start, he was very condescending, in any question I asked, and he made me feel dumb to even ask a question. I was at a loss for words for the NASTY deposition he displayed during my visit. It was to the point that I just didn't want to ask any more questions. Because of the rushed appointment, I walked away more confused than I did when I went in because of the lack of time he took to explain. Because of this bad experience, I don't want to go back. If I could give 0 stars, I would for this awful experience.
