Rude receptionist. Have to go down the hall to use the bathroom for a urine sample. There is one stall so there was a wait as it's the restroom for the building. Had to walk around with urine sample. Person who took blood was ok. read more

I have been going to the Newhall location but they are temporarily closed. I had to go to the Valencia location by Henry Mayo Hospital. It was nice to see the 2 ladies that were at Newhall. Thought I'd give them a second try so I tried the morning this time to get lab work from my routine physical. As soon as I walked in, extremely rude Same woman. Asks me what I'm here for smugly. Customer service is still at a complete zero. Seems more motivated to go to lunch than to help people. Maybe come after lunch and she'll have a happy face and not rush through your service. Both Alex and Zania were so helpful in getting my son's blood work done and it is hard to find a good tech. The receptionist was unhelpful and dismissive, lacking basic skills to assist with the check-in process. She didn't verify my payment method and assumed I was using insurance, which was frustrating. When I pointed out that she hadn't asked the right questions, she didn't respond well. The lab technician seemed to mirror the receptionist's attitude. I informed her about my difficult veins and the scar tissue caused by repeated use from Kaiser, hoping to help her draw blood more effectively. Instead of appreciating my advice, she was rude and dismissive. Ultimately, she did find a suitable vein that hadn't been repeatedly used, but I wish she had acknowledged my input, especially since I often have to endure multiple attempts at other labs. Overall, the staff's demeanor made the experience unnecessarily unpleasant. Rude women that are very narcissistic. read more

Going to this location for years. The staff is friendly and fast. They somehow get a blood draw the first try nearly every time. Painless the task is done before i know it is being done. Payment is complex and different for every patient. If there is a question as to who is to pay they clearly know how to navigate through the systems involved. read more

Filthy! The sharps container had boxes on top of it therefore the technicians were throwing the needles and everything else in the trash that was overflowing onto the floor. When I put my urine sample in the cabinet there was someone else's urine cup still in there. I told the lady at the front desk and she proceeded to tell me very loudly she was doing her best and everything else she was trying to do. Absolutely inexcusable. if i could leave zero i 100% would. these ladies are rude and do not care, talk to you with the craziest attitude. didn't get the name of the blonde or black hair at the front but they're terrible. blonde told me to come back another time despite doctor telling me to go today right after his appointment and when explaining that she just cut straight to "im telling you you need to come another time but if you want to do it now fine" and the black hair had me sit in the chair did some things on the computer just to turn around and stare at me and shrug her shoulders saying "are you gonna pull up your sleeve.." when i said oh okay you could've just said that she proceeded to say "you've never had your blood drawn or .." as soon as i responded with you're all really rude here huh she stayed quiet the entire time. find another profession. read more

The Hispanic male receptionist was awful, no eye contact, cuts you off when speaking, responded with short answers and looked bothered to be there. These people don't care about patients and this is concerning since this is the medical industry and many patients are coming in for important lab test. This place needs to retrain all their staff. I get a blood draw at least every 90 days. That couple minute at a lab can really make a difference in my day. When the lab tech has a beautiful smile and attitude to match, it starts the day great. Then, when they are skilled and the stick is painless, I walk out happy and smiling to start my day. Today, that special person was Claudia. Thank you for the great attitude and blood draw. I would give zero stars if possible. I've always recommended people to Lab Corp, they used to be fast, efficient, and friendly. Well not here. For starters, the Front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She rolled her eyes and tried to turn me away because the doctor gave me an order for Quest. As someone who has worked in healthcare for 7 years I know how simple it is to change a CPT code is. She put the wrong CPT code so I was charged for an extra 4 panels, secondly the front desk had a poor attitude when I explained I go to Lab Corp in Thousand Oaks and that all of my information popped up on the screen she said it didn't (I checked in on the iPad and it worked??) And lastly the specimen drop area had 3 other samples with no names or DOB's on them... I do believe my sample was mixed up with someone else's. Never going here again. Awful awful service.
