stopped by "La Bella Pizzeria" today, hoping to meet the owner and try a slice of his amazing pizza. I often check out Tik Tok to find local eatery videos, and I stumbled upon some of Yari's "Concerned citizen videos" about his awesome-looking pizza. His neighborhood Pizzeria specializes in Kosher vegetarian pizza and Italian fare they also offer a variety of sushi rolls , salads, and fresh seafood. Being a pizza purest I tried a slice of cheese $4.45 you could taste the fresh tomato sauce and good mozzarella. I was then offered a slice of his impressive Vodka pie $5.49 this massive slice is topped with delicious penne pasta in a creamy vodka sauce a meal in itself so big I was not able to finish it. First time here. I got the lunch special and drink for $12. I tried to order a pepperoni pizza but I was told by the cashier it's all vegetarian so I ordered two veggies. I came hungry and got my food to-go because I live in the area. It was pretty good! Decent thin slices. My pizza slices were warmed up. I think I'll pass this one. I need meat on my pizzas so I was expecting greasy pepperoni pizzas , or at least sausage. The ranch sauce was good too. I'm honestly so disappointed. I saw this place on TikTok and also had a friend tell me about it telling me how amazing the pizza was. But when we got there, everything in the slice case looked like it had been sitting there for hours and hours. And honestly tasted like it too. The pepperoni slice was soggy and greasy and the pesto margarita was actually ok. The restaurant was clean and helpful staff, who were friendly and made some good recommendations. The Kosher food was a new experience for me, and I think I like it. Disappointing I visited La Bella Pizzeria for the first time today. The service was very good however, I thought the food wasn't very good, perhaps I caught them on an off-day. La Bella Pizzeria offers great lunch deals. Two slices of cheese pizza and a soda for a little over $6. However, I just wish the pizza was better. The cheese pizza just wasn't very good at all. The bottom was somewhat burned, the crust didn't have much flavor, and the sauce just wasn't good. I feel terrible for having to give a less than favorable review, after reading so many positive reviews but in my opinion today just was not a good day for pizza. When my friend suggested we meet for lunch at LaBella, I immediately looked it up on Yelp and read some of their stellar reviews. I also checked out their menu online and was blown away by all of the options. Sure, this place is Kosher / Vegetarian, but there is definitely something for everyone here. I love that it's a fast-casual concept. Order your food at the counter and they will bring it to you when it's ready... friendly service as well. I went for the spinach salad and added salmon. I couldn't resist picking out a slice of the eggplant pizza as well. (I love that you can choose from tons of different pizza slices and calzones from the case right by where you place your order!) Everything I had was fresh and delicious. Needless to say, it filled me up for the rest of the afternoon. I should have known when I saw they also served sushi but we ordered anyway. 2 pieces of lasagna and 2 salads for nearly $50 and most of it went into the garbage. The lasagna is NOT lasagna but more like a pile of flat noodles with way too much cheese on it. It lacked sauce, ricotta, and flavor. The food was delivered fast and still piping hot! All of the food was delicious. My parents both enjoyed their Flounder Florentine, and I really enjoyed my Salmon Caesar Salad. They even packaged the Salmon and the Salad separately to make sure it all arrived fresh and not soggy/warm salad etc. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely phenomenal and the Onion Rings (not pictured) were thick, crispy and had a delicious batter. It's been 5 hours since eating this pizza and I am still angry about how bad (absolutely tasteless) it was. Also angry that I paid $55 dollars for 2 medium pizzas (one of which was cheese only, the other a margarita but they didn't put any basil which is how it's advertised on their menu). The service was terrible, my order wasn't ready and the four men manning the pizza oven seemed to just be arguing and trying to decide how much sauce to put on a pizza....if you're wondering...the guy who won the argument was the No Sauce guy...because there was about a quarter sized splatter of sauce on every other piece. I have to also mention that the inside of the restaurant is loaded with signs, "Do NOT do this _____". I felt like I was some child being scolded by my parents. Just had an awful experience with this restaurant. When I placed my order by phone they told me 20-25 minutes. It turned out to be more like an hour until our food was ready. I communicated my disappointment to the person who seemed to be in charge, expecting him to say something like "have a soda on the house" or something like that - a real gesture of apology. Instead he told me that if I didn't like the way he does things I should go start my own restaurant. Terrible way to treat customers. I really don't enjoy writing poor reviews, but this was shockingly disappointing. Ordered delivery from LaBella earlier this week for dinner. The food came extremely fast which was a good start. Unfortunately it ended there. Ordered a large pizza, "The Don". Pizza was well cooked and the crust was good, but the veggies were all soggy, cheese had a strange texture, and the sauce flavor was not good. I'd actually consider trying another pizza or maybe a slice for lunch if I were in the area. The worst part of the meal though was the eggplant. It appeared to have not been cooked at all. Literally impossible to cut even with fork and knife. I actually saved it and reheated it for 30 minutes the next day in an attempt to make it edible. After 30 minutes in the oven at 350, the cheese was burnt, but eggplant was still tougher than a rubber band. Not sure why such good reviews at this place. Yelp very rarely disappoints me, but if you happen to be reading this I would suggest finding one of the many other restaurants on 7th st rather than waste your time, money and calories here. read more

Came in here a few nights ago and was so happy to find a local pizzeria that sells by the slice! We picked up a variety of slices and got an order of the cannolis and cheesecake as well. This restaurant is Kosher-friendly and the owner is so kind! Highly recommend the grandma slice, the flavors of the crust/dough is incredible! The thought that this restaurant serves pizza, Mexican food, and sushi made me hesitant to try it at first. But knowing that it is also kosher and vegetarian intrigued me enough to give it a try. I ordered stromboli, a treat I miss from my NY days. My friend John got the stuffed veggie pizza, and the guys behind the counter gave us some complimentary garlic knots upon knowing that it was our first visit. We sampled each others' orders and they were both good. Definitely New York in style and flavor, and serving sizes were generous. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and has lots of seating, and WiFi is available.
