I been going here for years. Before I was a regular but overtime I starting seeking other salon. Mimi was my go-to person when it came to my nails and Mike does my pedicure. I think they do a great job however, one complaint triggers the staff attitude and behavior towards you and they can come off rude. Mike is an angel. If you don't like something, they start to speak among themselves in their own language amongst each other. If you give them a hard time, Mimi/staff will sometimes request that you pay before finishing your service in front of the whole salon. It's disgusting. This is years of observation and I know quite a few people who refuse to come for service due to their attitude. I'm actually writing this post while I'm in the salon getting a pedicure and they are going back and forth with a customer because she said one of her nails is crooked‍. All I can say is tread lightly when getting serviced here, it's to say because you are a paying customer. read more

If you are tired of looking for a great nail tech, Look no more. I have been getting my nails done for more than 30yrs. I went in today to have a REALLY bad set of wide and thick nails fixed. I made an appointment and I swear everything that could go wrong did, so I was extremely late yet they still squeezed me in. My tech was Victor. I have not had a great set of nails done like this in a LONG time. Most places are in such a rush to get you in and our that the quality gets a little sloppy. Now I know it is hard to take a review as so many others haven't had such beautiful nails. Well, this is not the case here. I am so picky that I can find fault in anything if I look. Well, I am looking and I still can't find fault in ANYTHING. They are not wide, not thick, have a beautiful curve(my nails grow up so it is important) and the paint job was flawless. I have found my new nail guru and I won't be switching anytime soon. He does such amazing work, I can't stop looking at them. I let him choose my design but gave the two colors I wanted. My 13-year-old daughter for the 1st time actually loves my nails, they look very natural and feel amazing. He is a nail GOD... If you don't want your acrylic/gel overlay to cover your entire nail there is a guy that does the acrylics here that can take care of that. Be careful not to explain how you don't want your natural nail to hang out on sides from said acrylic overlay. Was told they only fill growth at base of nail and file sides. Wait...What? You don't make sure that my entire nail is covered with acrylic??? Helloooo Fungus. Thanks for the attitude,thanks to the owner who stepped in to agree with this guy. They are open on Sunday, which is great. Prices are fair. My technician seemed to be in a hurry though, he painted not just my nails but also some skin around my nails. This happens often, but this one didn't bother to clean it up, also acrylic was not filled all the way to the cuticle so it looks like I got nails done a week ago and they grew out a little which means I'll have to go again in a week instead of my usual 2 weeks. I should have left as soon as I walked in. All I wanted was a simple traditional manicure. At first they told me the wait would be 30 minutes. After speaking among themselves they decided the wait would only be 10 minutes. I should have left then and found another salon but I did not and I regret that decision. They tried to push a gel manicure which I told them no. I had my own polish and a color that I love. The whole time I felt as if the manicurist was rushing to get my nails done. I did not get a massage or any lotion on my hands. She rushed through the painting and put me under the dryer. as I walked out I realized why she was in such a rush. They were squeezing me in while another customer was soaking her nails off. When I looked at the polish after I left I noticed smudges in the paint under the clear polish. I was having my nails done for the Christmas holiday and it looks like I will have to redo some of them myself. Don't waste your time or your money if you want to enjoy a manicure that is done professionally and will look good. read more

Honestly, the lady helping me couldn't understand anything I was saying to her, also the shellak peeled off within 2 days and I also had one of the nails break off within 3 days of getting them done. I went back to for repair and obviously, I had to pay to get it fix. The worst part is that it only took another 5 days for another nail to come off. Beware of this place because the manager/owner assaulted me and I have a recorded video of her assault. First the nail tech tried an accent colour that I asked him for and I told him I didn't like how it looked and just wanted one solid colour he said I picked the colour and I have to stick to it and he can't do anything, I said I'll pay to have it fixed or wipe it off with the acetone on my own. He said no, one of my nail colour got distorted moving from the manicure area to the pedicure area and the manager/owner told me that it's my fault and that I need to pay and get the hell out of there and to f**k myself, I told her to have some respect for her customer and talk with manners if she wants to be paid she then told her employees to lock the doors and laid her hands on me trying to push/ hit me and then started screaming wolf " oh you want to fight" funny because I wouldnt touch or hurt a fly lol, I was trying to move away from this obviously not sane abusive woman. She then told me she's not scared of me (this was the manager or called herself the manager and was aggressive and three times my size so Ofcourse she's not scared of me) . Her nail techs looked scared of her, some man came infront of her and told her to leave me alone and that he will cash me out, I paid to be assaulted.... I hope this lady's business doesn't thrive because she is a monster for treating people so poorly. If you want to get the most garbage service and be assaulted while getting your nails done this is the place. They have ZERO customer service and zero accountability. The salon also looks like a dirty, broken down and cheap one. Keep in mind there were other customers there and she seemed like her assaulting me was completely acceptable. I'm still in shock and will be calling officials about this. I am shaking since this appointment and immediately went to another nail salon to redo my nails because looking at my nails after being assaulted is causing me PTSD. read more

Mimi's was recommended to me after I complimented on my blow dry stylist's nails. So I decided to check it out. Since I didn't have an appointment I didn't get my nails done by Mimi. I had a pedicure and it was great, guy was friendly and efficient. I then got my acrylic nails re-done and the guy (a different one than the pedicure guy) did a much better job on shaping my nails to the short almond shape I wanted than my previous salon. Mimi's has a great selection of gel colors too. The only drawback was he didn't do any designs, I guess Mimi is the only one. But I will go back he did a great job on my nails and the prices are reasonable. read more
