To my surprise Armando returned with an assistant and the two of them cleaned the Mexican terra cotta pavers better than ever. They worked whole day and got into corners, I didn't know existed. It was pristine. The next morning, bright and early, Armando was back with a new assistant. The set about preparing and dealing with a semi-gloss finish. I stepped out to pick up some odds and ends to return to see the second coat. Wow! Armando is a floor restoration artist. If you don't use Sunshine, your nuts. They really find the best people, passionate about their work and its impact in your life. This was a major turning moment in bringing our home back from the fire. Thank you!

Super professional, kind and knowledgable. Got here on time, kept his workspace clean, and finished before the time given which gave us time to handle other plans! So bonus for that. Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.

    # Highest Recommendation for Stoneshine Concrete Floor Polishing…read more I am pleased to give Stoneshine Concrete Floor Polishing my highest possible recommendation. From beginning to end, the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire team were exceptional. Our crew--Victor, Jose, Armando, Ricardo, Rafael, and Romero, under the supervision of Greg Torres--was outstanding. Every member of the team demonstrated an impressive combination of technical skill, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine pride in their work. Floor polishing is a demanding process, particularly in an occupied home, and I was extremely impressed by the care the crew took to protect our property throughout the project. They were exceptionally conscientious about furniture and surrounding finishes, understanding that many items required delicate handling. They carefully removed doors when necessary, protected walls and adjacent areas, and maintained an unusually clean and orderly work environment. Their preparation and cleanup were every bit as thorough as the polishing itself. What distinguished this crew most was their attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible result. Rather than simply completing each stage of the job, they continually inspected their work, identified areas that would benefit from additional treatment, and addressed them without hesitation. They were meticulous and clearly held themselves to a very high standard. Communication was equally excellent. The team provided thorough explanations of the polishing process, kept us informed about the progress of the project, and readily answered questions. They arrived when promised each day, worked efficiently and consistently, and completed the project on schedule. Their reliability made a substantial project remarkably easy to manage. The crew also deserves special recognition for their work ethic. Working through the intense August desert heat, they remained cheerful, courteous, focused, and remarkably hardworking. They worked relentlessly to provide superior service without allowing the difficult conditions to diminish either the quality of their work or the professionalism of their interactions. Every member of the team was polite, helpful, respectful, and pleasant to have in our home. I would especially like to recognize Greg Torres for his leadership. It is evident that Greg has created and reinforced a culture in which professionalism, craftsmanship, respect, and personal accountability are expected. He sets an excellent example for his team and is clearly highly respected by the crew. The consistency with which every team member demonstrated the same high standards speaks volumes about Greg's leadership and about Stoneshine as a company. The finished floors are beautiful, but equally impressive was the experience of working with this team. Excellent craftsmanship is important; finding a crew that combines that craftsmanship with reliability, cleanliness, careful treatment of a client's home, excellent communication, and genuinely pleasant interactions is much more unusual. I would recommend Stoneshine Concrete Floor Polishing, Greg Torres, Victor, Jose, Armando, Ricardo, Rafael, and Romero without reservation. They exceeded our expectations and demonstrated what top-tier professional service should look like. Highest recommendation.
