Lady T is absolutely amazing and so delicious. I love the egusi and fufu. The jollof rice and the stew (spicy) are both also so tasty! I crave the egusi all the time though. I've only ordered delivery, but it's always been hot, fresh, and incredible every time. I recommended this restaurant to a Nigerian friend, and she spoke very highly of the Fish Pepper Soup. Highly recommend!

I got the goat meat soup. I order it to go on Uber Eats I never had African food before and thank god I chose today cause I was starving and feeling risky. So I got the goat soup and maaaaaaan lemme tell you!!! It was soo spicy and it was sooo good, it was a green soup broth with herb and spices in there. I felt like it was almost a green birria or carne en su juego that my dad makes but different tastes, same texture and different meat lol. The goat meat was fall off the bone dude and even though there was a lot of bone and cartilage, it was still so good I ate EVEERYTHING! Except the bone, I even sucked the bone holes man to get the bone marrow or meat in there pause* It was really spicy so I enjoyed it, it might not be for Everyone If you're Hispanic and like spicy food and broths this is the one for you cause it's brought back memories of food similar to what my dad use to cook when I was younger. Okay so price: it's 20 bucks but it's worth it in my opinion Portion: could be better to be honest it was a lil bit but with the effort and flavor they put in I'll support it evens out. Rating 5/5 ign I highly recommend

It was a great first visit. She was so friendly and talkative. I could sit and talk with her all day. I ordered the egusi soup which was my favorite and can't wait to return to order again. As well as the jollof rice and beef. I enjoyed this as well, and it was so much food I could eat it for two meals! I ordered it to go so I'm not sure if you can eat inside but I did wait for my food in there. I would recommend trying it out, because I had passed by it for a year before trying.

The best priced in town!! The suya is PERFECTLY seasoned! The egusi hit the spot and was everything I was craving!! Also comes with free FuFu which is a plus and honey...do you see how they protect your food when you order delivery?!? Top tier lol

Second time ordering within a week. DELICIOUS! Afang is now my favorite has a spice to it. Do I know what it's made out of? NO. Do I love it?!? YES!

This place is self-dining and feels like a hole in the wall. The food comes in to-go containers and I did notice multiple people taking their orders to-go. The person working front of house was very patient and helpful. Me and everyone in my group enjoyed our food. I had the jollof rice with goat meat, suya, and egusi. The food was delicious, packed with flavor, and made with love. My friend had the designer stew. The designer stew was incredibly spicy but very good. I will definitely be back!

Fufu with stew, jollof rice and beans with yam!!!

I recently heard of fufu and immediately searched online for "fufu near me". I landed on Lady T and I knew this would be the place! I phoned in an order for pickup and made it clear that "I've never eaten here before, I am super excited to try it, what do you recommend that's vegetarian that would go with the fufu?" I was told that the tomato stew was great and I immediately said "Perfect! Yes!" and added the jollof rice and beans with yam side. Until Lady T, the only Nigerian food I've had was at a small place in Harlem, NY. This was definitely of the same caliber and I am a bit obsessed now. There is no way to adequately describe how scrumptious this food is, YOU JUST HAVE TO TRY IT. Trust me. It's filling, spicy, comforting, and unlike anything you've had. Highly highly recommend and look forward to dining in when they're open for it. Till then, takeout only. Oh, and everything I got was 10X better the next day.

I feel bad for giving this review but unfortunately the jollof rice dish had some of the toughest beef I've eaten. The jollof rice itself was interesting since it's very smoky - not something that I've had before. Strangely I ended up liking the rice in the end. I'm glad I tried some Nigerian food but not sure if I'd go back here again.

10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Unfriendly, wait time was ridiculous for my pick up. No place to sit while I waited.

I called in advance to eat in house, which I find to be common at most African restaurants, as the food takes a bit longer to prepare. I arrived, washed my hands and returned to my food PIPING HOT on the table! Now that's what I call good service! When I tell you the truth, I tell you no lie! Trices can have all my money! The soup was so good I wanted to lick the bowl! Smooth, creamy, nutty, spicy, rich, everything you want in a good groundnut! And the chicken was fried to perfection! The consistency was just right, not too soft, not too hard, didn't taste look like hen, but it might have been. Two glasses of red wine, and my full plate later and I felt as if I needed to nap! Love this place, will def return on my next trip to San Antonio! Also there was a family sitting behind me, I believe they were Nigerian because the husband was saying how Sweet Sweet his food was, and the wife and kids all raved as well! So it wasn't just me, everyone was happy oooo!
