Rude rude rude driver! Way overpriced. We were transported in a suburban not a shuttle. Six adult passengers with one driver in a seven passenger vehicle is completely cramped. I was stuck in the middle of the third row of the suburban with no seatbelt (which driver said was not necessary when I asked about it) and seated next to my 6'3 son and 5'7 daughter. I rode 3 and half hours from O'Hare to Purdue sitting on the crack between the seats with two belt buckles digging into my hips. No more than five seats should be sold on the suburban. This is absolutely the worst service. I go online to book the ride for a same day service. . It tells me I have to call. I called and they took my reservation I was told to just get to Ohara international terminal no 5 gate d. I called 9 times in 40 min to ensure I was in the right place and finally on my 10 th call someone says they do not have my reservation and the driver has left. I will never use this company. I spoke to people ten times and you may wonder what kind of service policy they have if any. Worst service ever. They charge a ridiculous $60 for one way from O'hare to Purdue. My driver was TWO hours late and when I called customer service they were not helpful at all. When the driver showed up he did not even have my reservation on file. He said nothing about being late either. I do not recommend this service to anyone. For $60 they stuff people like cattle into tiny mini busses and have terrible service. read more

Spent an extra five hours at ohare because of the misinformation provided to me over the phone. Then nearly missed the shuttle again because the driver was AGAIN in a different pick up location than previously told. However, the driver was very nice and friendly. But the people I spoke with over the phone were no help AT All. Felt helpless just HOPING that the shuttle would arrive. The other local shuttle service star of America has been much better for me. Now thinking back on it I had another bad experience with Lafayette Limo about six months ago when I had a very rude and impatient driver. read more

Punctual. Comfortable ride. Great price and the driver Lisa was very nice and a good driver.

I would never use this company again. They tried fitting 6 passengers into a 5 passenger car. My mom, my 6'3 brother, and myself were put into the third seat of the SUV, even though there were only two seat belts. When my mom brought this to the driver's attention, his response was "It's your choice if you want to wear one or not, I don't know anything about a seatbelt back there", without trying to figure out another option. Our driver was extremely rude. Very short with everyone, no pleases or thank you's, no opening doors for anyone. He behaved the exact same way both times he drove us, so it wasn't as if he was having one off day. There's absolutely no comfortable room for a 3-hour drive. read more

One of the worst companies ever! Also very poor customer service. First my limo on wedding day broke down on the side of 65 so being the bride and groom we had to get to our reception we got in a bridesmaid car. Leaving 3 bridal party members in the limo we were told they were sending another limo for them. When the other limo got there they were there to pick up the driver! Then they only have us half off. In mid-February, my wife booked on-line a round trip shuttle service for our son from Purdue to O'Hare for March. Although they advertised right up front on their website that one way cost is $60 and round trip for $110, it does not mention anything about entering a special code when purchasing round trip to get this price ($110). If you don't use the special code (available elsewhere on the website), it charges you as two one way trips ($120). My wife called after making the on-line reservation requesting a $10 credit and was told it would credited to her credit card . However, when the charge showed up on our credit card bill, it was for $120 (w/ no associated credit). My wife called again and was told that the only credit they would provide would be for future service. My wife informed the customer service agent that was not what she was told back in February. The agent consulted with the manager; and was informed again that was their policy!! Shuttle Service-Good, Customer Service- Poor Bottom line: Based on the above decision by the manager, we do not intend to use this company anytime soon!!! read more

I reserved a Saturday afternoon trip from Lafayette to IND. I called in advance to confirm and got an answering machine. I arrived at my pickup point 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure. The driver never showed up. My elderly mother had to drive me to IND. NO notice. I did not hear from them for 2 days. The driver NEVER DROVE THE ROUTE! They have offered to "compensate" me by refunding my fare. Avoid. read more

I prefer Reindeer Shuttle due to Lafayette's poor customer service: In November I was scheduled to ride with Reindeer. 15 minutes before my ride was scheduled to arrive, Reindeer called me to let me know that the driver was running 10-15 minutes late. A few weeks later, I waited 10 minutes past the due time for Layfette. I didn't hear from them so I called to complain. The call center took a message and had someone from customer service call me back. The young lady who called me back informed me that they posted something online to expect delays and they couldn't possibly call all their passengers to let them know they were running late. By the way, there were 3 of us waiting for the shuttle. When I explained that most people are not checking the website while waiting outside in the cold, she was kind enough to explain that there was a waiting room inside the airport. This is not customer service and I am unlikely to use Lafayette again. read more

I reserved a shuttle service 4 weeks in advance for my Freshman daughter to come home for Christmas. She was standing at the Foley under very cold weather and the bus was about 2 hours late this morning. The drive is 2.5 hours to Chicago airport and it is Sunday. I just had a great time on a bus that was rented from here. It all worked out perfectly, the bus was in great condition, the driver was nice, and we made it to and from safely. The bus had perimeter seating in the back and table seating at the front which was very nice. read more

Lafayette Limo has horrible customer service. I would not have put this review on if it wasn't for the last guy I talked to on the phone. Lafayette Limo needs to change how they talk to customers. I don't care if it's winter and they are in the middle of a cold and low sunlight Indiana: Lafayette Limo's business model is going to fail for any user. Issue: Problem with Lafayette Limo's Customer Service with their over-the-phone staff. The staff excelled in bully-level, awkwardness 2 days in a row. I'm a 27 year old, office worker who felt like he was being talked to by someone with very little intelligence on how business logic, customer service, and conversation with customers worked. It was like he thought customers were secondary or lesser to his constant masturbation level of weirdness. Like, humans were from another planet and his all knowing race of jack asses was the way to interact. If he is non owner, then I hope the owner is encouraged to read that as, "Yes, you have someone working for you that isn't a good worker. It is okay now to fire him." If he was the owner, he needs to go back to learning how to gather revenue based on his assets OF SHUTTLING PEOPLE BACK AND FORTH. Scenario: I called into their Cust. Serv. 2 days ago to ask for a refund because the shuttle was late by close to an hr , at which point I decided to get a hotel. All I wanted to know if waiting for an hour was able to get a refund. Like, I wanted to know the business processes that Lafayette Limo for these things. I am a customer. Very simple formula: Business Member teaches Customer about how their processes work. You don't have to assume that I am looking to fight. I just want to know the businesses options to make happy, returning customers. Result: They cannot offer a refund. That's fine as they have a process which allow me to use the ticket for whenever I would like. I do come back to Indiana 1-3x/year, and so that is fine. I stated this. However, the over-the-phone CS person really dug into attacking and wouldn't stop. Like to the point that he was assuming and overcompensating for what he assumed the conversation to be. It was uncomfortable, mean, rude, and something I hope is reviewed and he gets fired for. Learn to shut up and wait to talk like an asshole when you get off the phone, if you feel like you need to, not while you are on the phone. I am the customer not your peer. The customer IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT, but learn to shut the hell up and learn how to "agree and apologize." No one was attacking you. No one was attacking your ego unless questioning how business logic works for the company you work for seems to be antagonistic. And if it does then stop working on the phones. My hope for the company: They don't hire people or keep people who have the brain capacity for conversation as a man who is lonely, afraid, and has a brain imbalance of a jerk off. Your competitor looks a lot better now, and I hope your company goes under if you keep people like that and keep that culture. read more

I'd like to share my most recent experience with Lafayette Limo.... I've taken them several times when I was a student at Purdue, and they've always been reliable. My experience tonight was hopefully a rare exception, but it does highlight some of their substantial shortcomings. I had a reservation booked for the 6:30 shuttle, but due to a flight delay, didn't arrive until 7:00. As soon as I saw my flight was delayed, I called ahead to let LL know, and was told I would be rebooked for the 8:30 shuttle, the next trip. When my plane landed and I turned on my phone, I had a voicemail from Lafayette Limo asking where I was. Problem 1: lack of communication between office and airport. I checked in with the gentleman at the airport (who was very courteous and the single good spot in this experience) and took a seat to wait for the 8:30 shuttle. 8:30 came and went, and I went back to the counter to check on the shuttle. Apparently an accident had delayed the shuttle's trip down from Lafayette. That's obviously beyond their control, but the fact that they had no backup plan is Problem 2: There should be a backup shuttle in or near the Indianapolis airport so they can deliver on their reserved times. When the shuttle did finally arrive at 9:30, a full hour behind schedule, we encountered Problem 3, which is again a lack of communication. They had sent a 14-passenger shuttle without telling the staff in Indianapolis, who now had 17 reserved, non-refundable seats sold. I still didn't get to take the shuttle. The gentleman at the counter was able to refund one of the passengers' tickets who paid on site, but had no access to refund a prepaid credit card reservation. He called the office and asked them to provide a refund, and they said they wouldn't do so. He passed the phone to me, and they offered to give me credit toward future trips -- which does me little good, as I'm no longer a student at Purdue. They said only a manager could issue a refund. I asked to speak with a manager, but being after business hours, they had to promise me a call back. In the meantime, I walked across the hallway and got a rental car from Avis in under five minutes. When I reached Lafayette, I found I had received a voicemail en route, telling me that she had spoken to a manager and would not be willing to offer me a refund. However, they would be happy to guarantee me a seat on the 10:30 shuttle. Bottom line, if you get a seat and nothing goes wrong, they provide a handy service. They get one star above the minimum for the times things have gone smoothly. However, if something goes wrong, they're clearly not willing to do anything to make it right. read more

Totally agree on 0 stars. I put my daughter (18 year old freshman, 1st time coming home from Purdue) on Lafayette Limo to go to and from Ohare. Going up was great. Picked up when and where they said. On the way back, we called to ask where she should wait on them at Ohare. Told them she was in Terminal 2. First she was told to go to terminal 1 and find the ground transportation building. She could not find it so we called back. Now they RUDELY told us they had given these instructions to many others and they had no trouble. She kept looking. Called back again. Now she was told that the center was a terminal 2. Went back there to look, still no luck. Called a 3rd time. Was told to go out door 2C to the center and they weren't that familiar with Ohare so she would have to just look. Looked another 15 minutes (been looking 45 minutes now!) Phone call number 4. Finally they called a driver who told me we had been given instructions for finding them at Indy Airport for the last HOUR and 3 phone calls. I'm really glad she had 1 1/2 hours to find the shuttle or she would have missed it due to their inability to listen when we told them what airport. What really bothered me was their attitude that we were being an annoyance when we kept calling back. Never again will I use this service!!! read more

Used Limo to return from Indy last week to Lafayette and had a great experience. I had booked on line which was easy and quick, and left the airport right on time. The check-in was simple, and both the booth lady and the driver were very friendly and helpful, specially to some riders that needed some extra attention. I highly recommend this service, and will be using it again in a few weeks. read more

I am writing this while i am on the bus to Indy Airport from Purdue West. I estimate that by the time I arrive it will have taken us a stunning 2 hours to get there from Purdue West. Also, the bus is packed with no Air conditioning so I will be enjoying the smell of BO for my 2 hour trip. The same drive takes me about 60 minutes when I drive by car. I will just drive myself and pay the $9 per day parking fee the next time after this experience. -Zander read more

I had issues with safety. The shuttle ride was early in the morning when the roads haven't been plowed and salted as much. There was quite a bit of snow as it snowed the previous night and it was still snowing that morning. I expected the roads to be slippery but for some reason, our driver seems to have forgotten that "tiny" fact. I have not driven a shuttle before but I can imagine that the braking distance required is much larger in such conditions. We ran the red light but luckily enough, the car on the other side did not hit us. I was nervous the rest of the way. Also, we had three drivers in the bus but none of them seem to know how to control the bus. They were not sure which buttons were which. I understand that you don't always drive the same thing but could you not have checked it before hand not while we're en route? About being on time - yes, there are many things that come up that are inevitable like weather but if you are not on time at the very first stop *cough* your own office *cough*, well of course you're going to be late for the rest of the way! I did notice that on the stops near the end, there were other shuttles on standby. Were they waiting just in case the shuttle I was on wasn't going to come? If they were, that's a good job. Pricing - yes, $50 is a lot of money especially for students but if you consider how much it is to drive and park, plus the inconvenience of having someone else take you to the airport, paying that much doesn't seem too bad. Besides, if you're going out of town for longer than a week, that's definitely worth it. Prior to this experience, I've never had any problems with Lafayette Limo. If I'm not mistaken, I've taken the shuttle probably three times before that bad experience. Granted, there was great weather on those three shuttle rides. So far, that's a 3 out of 4 good trips. If it weren't for the safety issue, I might have given 3 or 4 stars. read more

My husband and I recently used the services of Lafayette Limo to go to the Indianapolis airport. The limo was 10 minutes late picking us up at Four Points. At the Purdue Memorial Union stop we waited for 15 minutes while the driver went inside to get the passengers. They must not have been ready so everyone else had to wait for them. On the ride from Lafayette to Indianapolis we were cold because the a/c vent was missing a front, it was nothing but a rectangular hole from which cold air blew. One of the other passengers tried to adjust it but it was impossible. The ride home was even worse. The van must have had absolutely no shocks because it was like riding in a log wagon. I am not the only passenger who commented on this. The driver had the radio tuned in to the music he preferred which was extremely annoying to us. Who does that!!!! I found him to be extremely unprofessional. For what we paid, $100 round trip, I should think that one could expect a quiet, smooth, on time ride. If people are not ready at the appointed pick up time then the rest of the passengers should not be made to wait for them beyond a reasonable period of time. Fifteen minutes is not reasonable. I doubt very much if I will ever use Lafayette Limo again. read more

You know the saying, "You only had one job"? Lafayette Limo has one job and they do it poorly. My son has had to depend on them to shuttle him from Purdue to the Indianapolis airport for the past 3 years. Getting to the airport on time is pretty important, yet in those 3 years Lafayette Limo has been on time (for pick up at Purdue as well as at the airport) ONCE. This past week, he nearly missed his flight because the shuttle was so late and then once the driver showed up he started complaining about the construction that allegedly slowed him down (it happens, but it's also not a secret. And again, if your only job is to transport people from Point A to Point B on a schedule, you need to stay informed about construction, road closures, etc). On one notable occasion, he (and another gentleman) were made to ride with the luggage because counting is apparently not in Lafayette Limo's skill set either. This was 2 years ago and he's still waiting for the promised communication from them about that situation. This was our last straw with Lafayette Limo and we will be using Reindeer Shuttle from now on. read more

I have never been treated so rudely. I printed out a form that showed my info and showed that I had paid.....I guess it was the wrong piece of paper. I guess I didn't see the little tiny button that says view to get your receipt. I had my ID and my name was on the driver's list....does it really flipping matter!!!! This driver was just a plain jerk and drove like one too. I will also report this to the better business bureau. I will go back to using Reindeer shuttle that is courteous and does a great job! I have used Lafayette Limo for years and have had good experiences, however this last trip was horrible. I got pick up at the airport late and arrived at the Marriott 40 minutes late. On my return trip to the airport, I had made a reservation for the 5:20am pick up from the Marriott, the shuttle bus did not show up at all. There is know way to get in contact with anyone at these early times, which is unfortunate. It was pure luck that I was able to make my flight. read more

Do not ride with this company. The driver was speeding, repeatedly running off the road, and driving down the middle of the lane. I couldn't tell if he was impaired or falling asleep. One of the other Lafayette Limo employees was on board and leaned forward to tell me "Dont worry, I've texted my boss about the situation." As if that was going to keep us alive for the remainder of the ride! When we got into Lafayette finally the driver also ran a red light. I honestly was just relieved to have not crashed. I called and left a message with the company that night about the driver and again the following morning asking for a call back. I never received a call. Very concerned about the situation I called a couple days later, only to talk to a rather indifferent employee who said he would "talk to the driver." I requested more detailed follow up than that and again didn't get it. A few days later when heading back to the airport (taking the much nicer, safer and cheaper Reindeer Shuttle) I saw Lafayette Limo pull up to the pick up stop and the same driver from my ride earlier in the week was still driving!! Seriously, this is a major safety concern and is clearly not being addressed by the company. Ride at your own risk! read more

I wish a zero star rating was available. I have been using this shuttle for years, with no improvement in service. In fact, although it didn't think it was possible, the service has actually become worse with time. The drivers are rude. The idea that, God forbid, someone might want to use a credit card is apparently beyond their comprehension. The price went up when the competition no longer serviced Purdue. I was always able to use my credit card until, once again, the competition left Purdue. Now all I get are insulting looks from the drivers when I am rash enough to offer a credit card. For years, we paid for the trip on the shuttle. Now, I got annoyed looks from the driver when I didn't somehow deduce that we are supposed to pay at a desk near the rental cars at the IND airport before getting on the shuttle. Someone has a chance to make some money by purchasing two or three vehicles and scheduling trips to and from the IND airport at the hours between when the Lafayette Limo leaves Purdue. read more

I have used Lafayette Limo before, and while taking a shuttle for an hour and a half is never fun, it's never been terrible. But this time my shuttle was an hour late, and I was beginning to get worried about missing my flight. They told me the shuttle was having mechanical issues, that they had a lot of people show up without reservations... multiple excuses. Bottom line, I ended up driving myself to the airport. When I called to attempt a refund, it took me 3 calls and an email to finally get a response a week and a half later, and they would only give me a voucher for another trip, not a full refund. Their tickets do state "non-refundable" but in my opinion that is contingent on the delivery of their end of the "contract", which is picking up and delivering on time (or at least reasonably on time!!). Since they were in breach of their contract, I should have been able to get my money back. Definitely not satisfied with the service or the way they handled it after my unsatisfactory experience. read more

After very clearly booking a shuttle to make two trips to hotels in order to pick up our guests for the ceremony, your driver was only able to make one trip an hour and a half early, citing "another wedding he/she had to go to" and giving our friends the number of their boss to contact. In an effort to try and get my bride's family to the event on time, I was on the phone with your staff ten minutes before I was set to recite my vows, which is exactly what I wanted to be doing! Your incompetence and lack of empathy truly are amazing. How you are allowed to be in business is a mystery to me. Friends and family were forced to carpool and take Ubers at the very last minute in order to make the ceremony, which we delayed by 20 minutes thanks to you. Not to mention the shuttle was unbelievably slow returning to the venue in order to pick guests up, all while ruining the landscaping at my family's home. I must say I am impressed by your ability to maintain this business and feel good about the service you provide, because it is truly the worst. read more

Choose another shuttle service. Even though I was half an hour early and waited outside at the correct gate, the shuttle still left without me. The worst part was that when I called, the lady on the phone was not only unhelpful but rude. I had communicated with her throughout the evening, making sure that I was at the right gate because I did not want to miss my ride. She was unsympathetic to the fact that I would be staying overnight at O'Hare and did not even apologize for the fact that the driver failed to call me when he could not locate me. This shuttle service is over priced and not worth it. They need to train their staff to handle these situations better, especially because she didn't even give me an alternative solution until I asked her what I was supposed to do, which was when she told me that the driver was unable to turn around and that I would have to wait until the next morning. She was condescending and rude, making it sound like it was my fault that I had missed my shuttle when she knew for a fact that I had been waiting at the correct location for over half an hour before the scheduled departure. POSITIVE REVIEW in spite of boo-boo. I simply MUST take the stand in SUPPORT of Lafayette Limo. THIS being CHRISTMAS morning, and just had a perfectly fine ride, on time, pickup and drop-off, and a charming chat with driver John. Here's the letter I wrote to the owner, wherein I was PRIMARILY and OVERWHELMINGLY positive in my appraisal, but nitpicked over the $2 discount online purchase flub, that I discovered 3 hours before departing. Jeff, First, we use your limo two to four times a year, and have had nothing but good experiences with it. In fact, once, the van/bus developed engine trouble, and had to stop en route, but a new van was right behind it by about 15 minutes. Good job. It was also unfortunate to see the grouchy kids on the YELP site. Probably not terribly experienced in the world, and sounded a bit spoiled. (The shuttle price is a bargain, it covers a phenomenal distance as shuttles go, and aren't many like it in locales like Lafayette. For example, in my home state of Rhode Island, which is TINY, there is NO convenient shuttle such as this, and certainly none at this price. "Limos" are available, for TWICE the price.) The best competing examples are the BOSTON LOGAN to PROVIDENCE run by a large corporate bus line, Peter Pan, which takes advantage of a HUGE market demand by comparison. BOS to PVD is 50 miles. The fare is 25$. The LARGE tour-sized buses are usually half full to full. Lotsa riders, lower price. IND to Lafayette, I will submit a strongly POSITIVE YELP reference and recommendation when I finish this. My ONLY criticism is that the policy for needing 24 hours advance notice in order to book an online reservation. Your wonderful service lady helped me through it, on CHRISTMAS morning no less, and we were both unable to find the policy stated clearly enough and easily/early enough upon logging in to be meaningful. If the offer to save money by ordering on line is genuine, I believe it might be promoted simply, and visibly and in a straightforward manner that is easy to use by the customer. She said she sent the word "upstairs" and that is good. Again, it's two bucks, but two bucks is two bucks, and it's the principle of the thing. I know, people are funny. I had a terrible experience with Lafayette Limo and would not recommend to anyone. Clearly from the other reviews, my experience was not rare. I booked a ride from Lafayette to Indianapolis Airport online scheduled to depart at 3:05pm. I arrived at the pick up location according to the map provided at 2:55. As of 3:15, no shuttle had arrived and so we called the office to get a sense of how late the shuttle was running and to confirm that we were in the right place. The woman who answered could not give us a definitive answer in terms of when we could expect a shuttle to arrive, but noted there were "thousands" of customers leaving from Purdue, so things were running 15 minutes behind. So we waited until 3:35 and called again. I got a very flustered male employee who indicated that he couldn't contact the drivers to figure out an estimated time of arrival. When asked if a shuttle would be coming to pick me up (again, I had a reserved seat purchased ahead of time), he said "maybe?". He couldn't tell me IF a shuttle was coming, WHEN it might come, or offer a refund in the midst of this disaster of customer service. I said, "should I keep waiting?" and he said, "probably not". When he started talking about all the people leaving Purdue, I said, yes, but I have a reserved seat. All he could say in response was that he was going to try and track down the driver to send them my way. We chose to wait until 4:00pm before finally just driving to the airport so that I wouldn't miss the flight. When I called on the next business day to complain and request a refund, my story was taken down and I was told someone would get back to me. I received a voicemail the next day saying that a driver had come to personally drive me to the airport, but I had already left and so they were giving me a credit to my account (rather than a refund). BULLSHIT. This was a total lie. 1) If someone was coming to pick me up, they would have gotten to me before I left, 2) If someone was coming in their personal car to pick me up, don't you think they would have told me so that I'd know to wait and know who to look for? What exactly was the big plan? This was clearly a lie they chose to use on me in order to place the blame on me rather than take ownership for the fact that they failed to uphold their side of our contractual agreement (I pay, you drive). I called back to reject the credit (I have no reason to ever want to use their service again and I deserve a refund) and the woman again said that they were really busy (not a valid excuse, if you had thousands of clients, don't sell seats to others) and that someone did come to pick me up, so... I rejected this, asked if this was the level of customer service they intend, and she said no, and I said, ok then I deserve a refund. She said because I bought online they have a no refund policy. I responded saying that I would understand that if I had changed my mind or had to re-book, but the issue was that they failed to uphold their contractual responsibility. I said, "well I'm glad you are proud of the customer service you have offered me" and hung up. She called me back less than an hour later to say that they agreed to give me a refund. I thanked her and confirmed my CC details. But sure enough, two weeks later, NO REFUND has occurred. Unfortunately, this company has a bit of a monopoly in the area, but I'd recommend finding ANY other option available for your travel needs. I would find another option if you can. Used the service from Purdue to O'Hare and back. Both times the bus was late getting to the destination by over an hour. Despite the fact that reservations have to be booked in advance, they seemed completely unprepared for the number of people that were riding the bus. When I called they said the reason for the delay was because they had to call 3 extra buses in today??? Wouldn't they know how many people were scheduled to be riding? Wouldn't you get the buses there earlier if you knew there would be lots of people to load? If you were late by over an hour, wouldn't you proactively call/text your passengers to let them know? For a charter company this is pretty basic stuff but they clearly have management issues and have zero customer service competency. Looking at the reviews, this doesn't seem to be an anomaly. The business is plain and simply horribly managed, horribly operated and horribly unresponsive. Will find another ride next time. read more

I do not post about companies, but this must be said because I do not want anyone else to have this experience ever again. If I could give them negative stars I would. Lafayette Limo is a horrific company. Their business practices are absolutely disgusting. I purchased a ticket to go home for spring break a week in advanced, and I was number 50. They decided it was sufficient to send a ten passenger bus for 50+ passengers. 45 minutes later they sent a 55 passenger bus, but 3 minutes into my trip the bus broke down. The bus driver then proceeded to start the bus and start driving again. After the first time is when Lafayette Limo almost killed me. The bus stalled in the middle of a major intersection and we just barely got through the intersection without stopping. LAFAYETTE LIMO almost got me killed because of its lack of due diligence. They made me late for my flight, thus causing me to pay $160.50. When I told them about the charge they refused to compensate me. After making a massively poor decision to send such a small bus, they then almost injured me or worse by sending a defective bus. When I contacted them, they lied to me a said they sent a mega bus to fit everyone. Obviously I did not miss a 2 ton bus ride pass me. They are a business of liars and do not give one ounce of a care for their customers. The compensation I asked for was for was simply what I deserve due to their failures to provide me the service I paid for. Instead of doing the right thing, all they did was compensate me the $25 for the bus ride. I didn't even ride on the bus. I,along with 20 other passengers, had to contact friends to drive us over an hour to the airport so we all didnt have to pay a change of flight fee for the SECOND time. I respectfully disagree with the other reviewers. I have used Lafayette Limo for over 10 years now and have stopped using all other shuttle services. I have found the staff to be overall friendly and very welcoming. They are always willing to help me with my bags and I have hardly had any wait. The only point I would add is that around holidays make sure to book with them in advance and get an early shuttle because you will be fighting with the college students to get to the airport. I always recommend Lafayette Limo to colleagues and we use their services whenever we have business professionals who are flying in from out of state. read more
