Right next to the Dolphin Quest. Lovely location. Been coming here since 2019 and love the poke nachos. Sadly the prices (as everywhere) have gone up and the portions have gone way down. In 2019 the poke nachos were 3 times the size they are now. Other down side we came at 4:30 pm they close at 5pm, so I think what we got was old. The poke was no longer a dark pink color but almost a brownish color. The guys got the bowl and $27 for 2 cups of rice and 5 pieces of ahi. It was disappointing So next time don't order any seafood near closing time. The burger looked amazing that our Captain had

I had the fish tacos, worst tacos I've ever had my entire life, the tortillas were stale and cold, the fish portion barely 2 small pieces that were super dry and chewy, there was no avocado in the tacos as listed on the menu. $24 for only two small tacos was a joke. If the prices are that high I'd expect better quality and taste.

The Lagoon Grill is worth the price of admission, which is free by the way! While enjoying burgers and tacos here at Lagoon Grill, Dolphin Quest is steps away. The entire time we enjoyed drinks and bites, we watched the Dolphins swimming, jumping and performing fun Dolphin tricks. The kids absolutely loved this lunch outing. What a cool if not unintended experience. This open air restaurant is a great experience. Not only great lunch menu but being surrounded by the lagoons with water activities and then the lagoon encapsulating the Dolphins. The waitstaff is wonderful and this place is bustling with happiness. Win win

Fish and chips Small pieces of fish. But tasty.

As a part of the Waikoloa village, this place is one of the few choices available to Hilton's guests for lunch. Similar to other places in the village, it is very overpriced. That's the main negative point. The view is beautiful. You see the ocean while you dine. The service is timely and friendly. We ordered Poke salad, Fish and chips, and chicken katsu sandwich. The food was good. Well prepared and tasty. The portion size is small. Overall, a good place for a lunch if you don't mind paying too much.

Food is good, nothing amazing; service is great - super quick and super friendly staff. Main drawback is the price Pictured - asian chicken salad and tuna melt

Service is super fast! Ordered food and the turnaround time was amazing. Had the kimchi burger that was super juicy. Everyone in my group was happy. If you use the hgv experiences card, it is only ONE complimentary drink per card. The fish tacos were really pretty. The burger (medium cooked) was juicy and the bun was a kind of sweet bread! Paired very well with the kimchi. My group preferred the regular fries over the sweet potato fries.

I'm not one to go to poolside bars and restaurants as the food is overpriced and average. However, Lagoon Grill was definitely worth every penny spent and super tasty. I went here with a friend and can say we finished our plates and left with a full stomach. The portions are generous and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that the food is a little pricey but you have to think it's at a hotel. I'm still impressed at how good the food was and will definitely be back if I'm at the Hilton.

Elpidio may need a nudge to be fun, but he was enjoyable. Scotty is a joy. Nice to be out of the sun and refreshed. Yes prices are crazy. Yes you chose resort life. Leave the resort if you wanted more reasonable. Fish tacos did the trick - not the best on the island.

Food was just ok for the price. They had great smoothies though and a wonderful outdoor view.

I always like giving my honest review…read more Everything was great about this restaurant. Reservations were easy to get for a family of three the night before on a Friday night at 6:30 PM. The hostess was very friendly and we got seated right away as soon as we checked in. We got a fabulous table with a view of the water, which was beautiful. The restaurant is very clean and a very simple ambience. Our waitress was very friendly. What I love the most about this restaurant is they have a lot of gluten friendly options, including a gluten friendly fish and chips, which is very hard to find anywhere else! I didn't feel like eating fish and chips, but I ordered that grilled chicken candy bacon sandwich with a gluten-free bun and it was amazing! My husband got the steak burger and he said it was so good! The fries were really good as well. So what was interesting about this restaurant is that we did not have silverware at our table, we did not get our water filled or drinks refilled, and when we were done with our meal, our waitress just brought the check without asking if we want dessert or not? Which we were planning on it for sure, I mean we are on vacation! So that's why I took away a star for those things. Our waitress seem very busy, but the restaurant didn't seem overwhelming and busy so I don't know what the issue was. They also had to go and wash some spoons for our dessert. I just thought that was odd. But the dessert was amazing. That cheesecake was really good and the chocolate lava cake was delicious!

Located in Kings Shops, this place has an extensive menu. I love their fish and chips. The batter…read moreis really unique with seasonings and crunchiness. There are also lots of yummy appetizer options like crab cakes and octopus. My daughter loved the kids pasta/penne as well. Only negative was they are super slow about the drinks. I ordered a lemonade and it never came and when I asked about it, they said they were all out... odd..

I haven't done a review in a while but I felt like one was due for this restaurant…read more I just want to say we have been to a lot of restaurants on the big island and some multiple times including the newly opened marlin bar. Consistency was key here and everything was on point. Service was excellent, food came out quick and hot, fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable especially for the quality of food. We went to napua for the 2nd time and it was not as good. They raised their prices again so 62 for a plate of fish (mahi mahi with rice and green beans) and it was dry and lacking in flavor. Just for 3 of us it came to almost 200.00 you just pay for the ambience at that restaurant. We went to lava lava beach club and the prices went up and the food was terrible. Again your paying for the ambience their but there the pork was fatty, fish sandwich tasted like canned tuna and the pork sandwich idk it tasted like the smell of throw up. Ceviche was horrible and paid 30 dollars for a tiny tostada with some shrimp and fish that was super super fishy. This was the best place so far besides pono Hawaiian deli (poke spot best poke ever!!) or getting your own fish at the farmers market in Waimea I wanted to add this to highlight this particular restaurant. We ate here 4 times (3 dining and once to go) and all the times it was so good. We got the island waygu burger it was cooked perfect and seasoned well, we ordered the coconut shrimp this was delicious, we ordered fish and chips (lightly breaded not overly oily or fried it was light airy and crispy), we ordered the corn dip and this was surprisingly refreshing with their homemade chips, order the hot chicken sandwich and wow this was lightly panko breaded and it was not overly hot and spicy everything paired well with it, also got the regular waygu burger and it was again cooked perfect and exploded with flavor. Finally tonight came back on our last night and I ordered the kona kampachi, wow wow wow it was cooked to perfection (finally a restaurant that can cook fish correctly and not over cook it) the miso butter worked perfectly and the portion was huge!! And only for 36 dollars like com on. My wife got the mahi mahi fish tacos and that was delicious with the lime cream sauce. All the nights we went there never broke 100 dollars and that says something in Hawaii and it literally beats every other restaurant so far for the price, ambience and quality of food. Consistency was key please if you're reading this owner or chef of this restaurant please stay this consistent!! Thank you!!

Had a really bad experience here. We were at a gathering that ran from happy hour through dinner,…read moreand several people in our group got food poisoning. We were sick all night and almost missed the wedding the next day. I called the next morning to give them all the details, where we sat, what we ordered, the date and time. Instead of caring, they just forwarded us to their insurance, like we were trying to sue them. We just wanted to give them a heads up so they wouldn't get anyone else sick. Management handled this horribly. Avoid at all costs, could ruin your vacation.
