Owner ordered the wrong design & size, claiming that would be the closest match possible. In which, that was a lie as I found the perfect match from 55 flooring Inc. a store in Anaheim and ordered it. Laguna Flooring refused to give me full refund, even though their product was wrong not even yet delivered. The lack of product knowledge and extremely poor customer service on their part has not only been extremely costly to us, but also a great waste of our company's time. I was referred to Laguna Flooring from a designer, who is a personal friend who i retained for my overdue remodel. She recommended this business as his price is very competitive and quality & service is top tier. My experience with Greg (owner) and Bree the operations onsite manager, was exceptional. I found Greg to be very non pushy, extremely patient as i went back and forth over 1 year to do engineered wood or LVP. After countless questions, having two other bids, I was very happy i selected Laguna Flooring to replace my outdated travertine and carpet of 1745 sq ft townhouse with wide LVP Planks. I would also proceed with future services such as kitchen remodeling, tiling in bathroom, as they offer for GC services well beyond flooring. During the process, the LVP manufacturer shipped a different crate of blanks that I thought did not keep the continuity of the other boxes. Greg agreed, went way out of the way to correct the problem with the LVP manufacturer and was my advocate from start to end of the project. The crew who performed the work arrived on time and were professional with their installation services. All and all i am very happy and have recommended Greg at Laguna Flooring to a personal friend and I found his pricing to be less or equal to the vendors i considered. I had some Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring installed in a master bedroom a few years back just as the business transitioned ownership from Sean to Greg. The reason I am writing now is because several friends and family members have since had LVP flooring installed and received excellent, flawless craftsmanship. I chose a beautiful grey flooring which came in three shades of grey and several grain patterns. When Sean sold me on the job, he commented "I think this is the most beautiful flooring out today, but you have to install it with an artistic eye in mixing the colors and patterns. When the installers put it in, one area had lots of dark panels together and another place all the light ones together. Over the next couple days, I noticed other workmanship flaws as well. Soft spots where concrete imperfections had not been filled in, edge molding cuts were visible when the cut could have been behind the dresser, a panel with the coating chipped at a corner giving a black triangle in the middle of the floor and a panel in an entry way cut too short and filled in with white caulk. I was really worried, because I had already handed Greg a check for final payment. I called Greg, he was an honorable professional, sending his guys back to address the flaws indicated. However, it seems when they took the floor apart, they must have broken off the tongue-in-groove pieces so now my floor lifts up and separates in two areas to the point where you could stub a shoe on it. I wouldn't be writing about it at this point if not seeing others having perfectly performed LVP floor installs. read more

These guys are the best! They came in a day, removed the old carpet, leveled the floor! The next day came back and gave us a beautiful new hard wood floor! I can't say enough good things about these folks! They constantly kept in touch with us and let us know the process and progress! Greg and his team started the works in January of 2023. It is now May and they have not been back to complete the job. It's left unfinished and is a hazard. I have tried reaching out to Greg many times over the past four months, he either says they are coming next week or he ignores my attempts at contact. We have paid in full. Buyer beware. When the installation began, his employee said Greg didn't give him the proper materials to do the job. So I went to Home Depot and purchased what he needed to do the job. The job couldn't be finished because there were very specific things needed from Greg's supplier. Greg has yet to complete what was started. In December, carpet was installed. They did a good job. It was laid properly. There were marks left on the floor and dirt/debris left on the brand new white carpet. read more

"Masks Required" - FALSE. "Staff Wears Masks" - FALSE. In fact, when Greg entered my home (during CA indoor mask mandates) he gave me attitude when I asked that he put one on. (He eventually, & unenthusastically, covered a portion of his face with a loose bandana). He had an attitude from the start. A few weeks later, after researching & shopping around, I reached out to ask for the (potential) product & installation availability. I ultimately decided to go with another company... They re-carpeted all my bedrooms and my walk-in closet. They have great selection of carpet, and reasonable prices. Sean was great, and they did a fantastic job with the installation. Sean even suggested to recycle good part of the carpet from master bed, and use that in my walk-in closet.
