I use to try to take over my pool going to Leslie pools buying all their expensive chemicals to only still have algae the very next day. Ever since Marvin took over my pool it's looks beautiful. Last winter my spa kept turning off Marvin diagnose it (my spa was built in 1999) the last part I had put in it cost me $800.00 dollars for one part. Marvin recommend to rebuild my whole spa for a very reasonable amount. I said let's do it. He called me and told me it would take a couple of weeks to rebuild. One of the motors was back ordered and would take over a week to ship. Marvin made sure he kept me posted on how long it would take. Marvin finished rebuilding my spa even better than before. It's more quiet and the Jets. are working even Better. My spa is running once again. Now I can enjoy both. I enjoy my backyard especially during the pandemic. Marvin had made all of this possible by rebuilding my old spa and maintaining my pool. Ocean pool and spa has been the BEST!! I recently retired in which I was a Field Engineer for over 35 years. I initially gave it some thought to replace the control pack in my spa on my own. I thought better of it when the replacement control pack arrived. The control pack was an upgrade from the previous pack with additional instructions outlining the installation. I then deciced to engage someone with more experience then myself and I landed on the right guy with Marvin. I could immediately tell that Marvin new what he was doing with the control pack swap. He had my spa (ECOSPA) back up and running with the new control pack within an hours time. I would highly recommend Marvin. We've dealt with a few for a few different reasons / issues... Not being fully impressed with one particular one; we were totally impressed with Lucas. We had what we thought may be a clog, Lucas evaluated the whole equipment, gave us the lowdown as to what was going on, explained to us what we should keep an eye out for and also re-explained the Aqualink app as well. He not only went into detail about everything but he, himself understood everything better than anyone else we've dealt with. Again, we've dealt with plenty of individuals all who seemed to have a minor understanding of things but Lucas had the root understanding for all the things. I was hesitant at first because working with the prior company was a nightmare and took so much effort to get even blow standard work done. All Pure began their services at my home and within two weeks, my pool has never looked as beautiful as it has in the past. The water is crystal clear and I enjoy sitting outside and admiring it. The pool technician was so kind when I met him the first time and expressed my concerns. The office manager (?) was also pleasant and when I voiced my expectations, she was pretty much like "well yah... that's the bare minimum!" I feel comfortable having them work on my property and now I don't feel like I have to meticulously observe my own pool levels to ensure I'm getting quality care.

The individual I spoke with, Matty, told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait another week for the technician to return at the regular scheduled time. She then told me, "It seems you don't listen," and hung up on me. I immediately called back and spoke with another representative named Debbie, who thankfully was more reasonable. She apologized for Matty's behavior and agreed that she should not hang up on customers, but still informed me that they could not send anyone for a follow‑up and that I was stuck waiting until next week. Mind you, I have been with this company for more than six years, never missed a payment, and never made a special request like this. It seems they have too many clients and not enough technicians. I have now cancelled my contract and joined another pool service company that was highly recommended by my neighbors. They need to seriously rethink how they treat their clients. For their own sake, I hope they reprimand Matty for her behavior and hire more technicians--or stop taking on new clients--because their service has declined tremendously.

We are new in owning a pool and hired a local pool service company in October 2025 here in Oakley. We are also new in the area so I rely heavily on Yelp and that is how I conduct business reviewing every details of people who used any company in the area. Yelp is super helpful but often times you will never know unless you work with them. I have a local Oakley pool company that started in October and not happy with their performance and service so after 3 months of test driving their performance, I let go of them and started with At Your Door Pool Service on the second week of January. I have been calling Carlos At your Door Pool Service company since October 2025. But because I would like to support a local Oakley pool company, I went ahead with that local Oakley company; however after 3 months, I was displeased with their performance and service. I called Carlos and asked more questions. Carlos always pick up my call and answer my questions. He is really patient, experience in responding to my detail questions. I should have hired this pool company first before supporting/hiring the Oakley pool local company. The first agenda prior to transitioning to this pool company is assessment of Lorenzo on the condition of our pool and I was able to meet Lorenzo and asked questions. You can asses his knowledge on pool as he answered all my questions. Lorenzo is very good at what he is doing. He also set the fountain timer for 15 minutes daily ensuring that water cycle is good. Then the following week on a Friday last week was a regular cleaning by Jameson. Although, I did not meet Jameson after the cleaning he sent a text message update. Then I bought a Polaris Robotic cleaning machine and put a deposit by mistake in text message link. Manny came over to explain details on how the cleaner works and explain the different functions of the machine. Manny also went over on the pairing the App to my phone. Although, in the beginning I was not sure if the Polaris is really for me to buy and not sure if the amount is worth since it is expensive. I decided to buy it and Manny delivered it at home. Manny open the box and showed me all features without using it inside the pool. Then after seeing it, I was not sure to buy it. So if you are not sure to buy don't open the box as per Jermain you can't return the Polaris Robotic machine once the box is open as they can't accept an open box and they will pay a penalty if it will be returned. So I told Jermain, the Polaris machine is not used, the box is open though. My recommendation for Polaris company is to have a demo machine free to their distributor like At Your Door Pool Service. Polaris return Policy sucks as I mentioned to Jermain. I will not deduct that 5 Star for this pool company as it has nothing to do with their Service. Looking forward to partnering with this team!
