This is by far my favorite place to get peroshki. I am really picky when it comes to peroshki because alot of times it can be really oily or heavy or have alot of extra stuff inside. Lahmajun Bakery is perfect the peroshki is so light and the flavor is amazing I can't tell you how many times peroshki has weighed heavy on me for an entire day but not with these. My husband had the lahmajun which he hasn't really liked any places but he loved it here and it didnt have that overly garlicy flavor which tends to happen often with lahmajun. As for the service there are really nice Armenian women working and they are incredibly kind and very fast with everything they do. I also love walking inside this bakery so cute so Armenian. Well, they don't call it Lahmajun Bakery for nothin. Get the Lahmajun. It's wonderful. It's everything you want in a Lahmajun: smoky, flavorful, tart, meaty. So delicious! Even though you could get it to go or Rush to eat it there, it's worth it to eat it slowly and really enjoy all the flavor. The staff are so kind and we're happy to explain things to me since I'm not Armenian. We got a few sweets at the end too and those were wonderful as well! read more

We ordered a cream Ponchik but got the Nutella Ponchik one which was fine. Presentation was amazing! Very good prices for LA and food came out pretty fast. I never tried Armenian pastries before and since I was ordering pad thai noodles next door, I thought I stopped in to try some items, everything in there looks delicious and is huge pieces, is not like the American donuts shop, more like a Chinese type bakery where they specialize in their country food. There's really not a lot to choose from but then again, I'm not a specialist in bake goods. I think she said is her popular items. There's 3 ladies in there, the blonde one is probably the boss. They packed everything separately in a bag and box. I'm not sure what I got, I just looked and chose lol. If you're in the area, you must come and try them out. From the moment I walked in, I felt the friendly and welcoming energy from the staff at Lahmajun Bakery. I walked in and was greeted with smiles and one of the ladies helped me and suggested a few things. I had seen this bakery next to Pad Thai Bistro a few times, and decided to walk in. I ordered strawberry ponchik. They have 3 kinds of ponchik; custard and Nutella were the other flavors. They have lahmajune, borek, eclairs, and a few other options. I was hoping they'd have different flavors of borek, but I can get those elsewhere. The inside is nicely decorated and bright, and there are lots of tables for customers. Parking is free in a medium sized lot. Parking was easy to get on a weeknight. Can't wait to come back and try more! read more

First time coming here, staff is nice and friendly. I asked for chebureki (similar to a large version of beef fried empanada) hot dogs rolled and baked in the bun already and some cheese khachapuri (baked pastry with cheese inside). Everything is made fresh, place smells delicious and clean. They also have nice fresh squeezed juices, I got pomegranate one, they also have carrot, green mix, mango and orange. Once I got my order, I tried while it was hot and crispy and now I know I will be back here again. Recommend them, very well worth trying and waiting for freshly made order read more

I can't believe I'd never been to Lahmajun bakery before. I ordered a ton of their baked goods & saw something in the back that looked interesting & ordered one. Holy smokes! SO FREAKING GOOD. It was the lahmajun. So simple...thin crispy bread with delicious herbed/spiced meat & a little lemon to squeeze on top. We stopped by to try the local chebureki and were absolutely delighted. They were delicious, filling, and inexpensive! You can grab a bite inside, as there are tables available. You can also get coffee--which is quite decent, too. All in all, this place comes highly recommended! I also really love the ayran here. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. read more

A lot of maybes... maybe I came in too early (like 8am) had an hour to kill and was looking for a take out bakery for a few items to grab- this place was close, was open, seemed like a good option... so I walked in and there were different baked goods in the window - not necessarily looking too fresh and I asked candidly which are fresh (ie made this morning) and the lady told me everything is made today. So I got 6 xachapuris and 3 ponchiks (basically the full amount of what was in the window- and she said they sold out right before me) so they warmed up my orders and boxed them. When I got to my destination (was taking it as a treat for a host/meeting) it did NOT look or taste fresh and I was embarrassed for taking it. The ponchiks literally tasted like they had been microwaved several times- the dough tasted like oil on top of oil. The second maybe is that I probably should have ordered in advance, but I was literally in need of grab and go. The xachapuri was literally the same... it dis not have that fresh puff pastry crunch. Tasted like warmed up oily bread and cheese. Third maybe is perhaps I should have gotten lahmajoun - maybe tats their specialty and that could have been fresh. Overall I wanted to like this place specially for the cute aunties working there. One thing I noticed but didn't say anything- they were wearing latex gloves as they baked but also used the same doughy floury gloves to ring me up and exchange money. The one lady helping me first did not know the coins and wasn't sure how much change to give me, I told her it's fine I don't need the quarters and Pennies but she insisted on calling over the other lady who was making something and she came over with same gloves went through the register cash and coins. Not sanitary and I don't make an issue but someone definitely will. I did not appreciate the dishonesty of the freshness even though I asked a few times and I could tell that it wasn't fresh and I wouldn't buy it otherwise but she gave me good faith that it is fresh and they had customers before me that took everything. Also... prices prices prices.... It is pricey like 4 bucks for each small xachapuri is ridiculous and the lahmajoun is like 3:50 ate these the normal Prices ??? For that price you WOULD and SHOULD expect FRESHNESSSSSS AND QUALITY read more

I ordered this for delivery and was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely a good lahmajune ( may in fact be my new favorite place) I like that they had added a lemon wedge with each lahmajune, great touch as I had literally ran out of lemons and a lahmajune isn't the same w one. It was much appreciated. I also ordered the ponchik was large and overall good but maybe too much dough for my preference.
