Their biggest tenant is Foodland on one side of the mall. On the other side is the Foodland Gas Station. The parking is pretty huge. I even saw some chickens roaming around the area.

Having Hukilau Marketplace is a welcomed addition with many eateries and boutique stores. This place is connected with the Polynesian Cultural Center. There's plenty of parking. This is a newer place (opened in 2015). It has a vintage, casual, outdoor marketplace vibe, but everything is clean, open, and spacious. There are many unique eateries and stores that you can only find here, such as Kiwi Style Fish and Chips, Sodabomb, Kiwi Korner meat pies, and etc. Hukilau Marketplace is defintely a very nice pit stop from your drive to refresh and grab a bite to eat.

This is one of my favorite places to just window shop. They have really fun, coastal and local vibe home decor and lifestyle finds. I've eaten at Kono's although I am not primarily a pork person so I would not personally go back here. Some places to visit would be the Aloha General Store where you'll find Island-inspired gifts, clothing, home décor, shave ice, and souvenirs. Aloha Vintage Vibes is where you will find vintage Hawaiian apparel, retro finds, and unique gifts. Northshore Boardriders Club is where I found a really cute bracelet here that allows you to track your own sea life! You'll also find surf apparel, boards, accessories, and local North Shore merchandise. Polynesian Treasures is neat. You get to browse through Hawaiian-made gifts, wood carvings, jewelry, and island crafts. I Am Paradise is a Pearl Shop. You will find Hawaiian pearl jewelry and handcrafted pieces. I have not yet entered this establishment yet. I think I'm intimidated by the possible price point of real Hawaiian pearls. Silver Moon Emporium is where you can shop for Women's fashion, accessories, and boutique clothing. I wish there were more plus size options. Tini Manini, I haven't been to this one yet but you'll be able to find Children's clothing, toys, and gifts here. Waimea Blue North Shore Art Gallery is where you can shop for original local artwork, photography, and prints. There are also several dining options which include: Banzai Sushi Bar, Cholo's Homestyle Mexican, Kono's, Maya's Tapas & Wine, IL Gelato Cafe (Love this place!), and The Fixx Haleiwa. Those were the most memorable places because they had AKSHON! Cosmic candies was another memorable spot! I think when they closed down, that's when the mall changed! Afterwards, kids grew up, adults got angrier, teens dispersed and Kaneohe no longer was FAMILY! It opened up to a new generation. Yet, they still have this mall. Constant changes, new businesses every 3-5 years. None that sticks around. Only a handful didn't leave. Let's hope this place can become a family place again.

I needed to use the restroom, and luckily, they have a public restroom area. When you walk inside, there is also a cute claw machine place, a nursing area, and an ATM, which is really convenient. Today, I finally visited The Cosmetics Company Store, and I loved being able to walk around and enjoy the samples. My friend also stopped at Mr. Cow to enjoy a Korean corn dog. We've already come here several times for Starbucks, and of course, this is also a really nice Safeway. I truly love the Waikele area. I find it to be one of the nicer parts of town because it feels clean, relaxing, and full of different places to shop and eat. You also have some higher end stores like Michael Kors, plus a brand new Miniso! Every time I drive through this area, I automatically feel a little bit fancier. LOL. I could honestly see myself living here one day just because of all the places there are to visit, shop, dine, and relax. It reminds me of why I love Kapolei Commons so much. Since I'm usually in Kapolei, that is still my regular area, but I would definitely love to spend more time exploring Waikele too. There are even food vendor trucks in the back, which is such a huge bonus. I absolutely love Leonard's Malasadas! If you go toward the side where Mr. Cow is located, you can also find Korean food trucks. There are so many places here that I still haven't discovered, so please don't mind me. Let me be a tourist for a little while, and eventually I'll be back to give you the full 411!

This shopping center is MASSIVE!…read more Admittedly, I have become a town snob with age. Rarely do I venture outside the "Honolulu" district (Hawaii Kai to Salt Lake is my radius ring) unless a special occasion calls for it. I blame gas prices but really, it's laziness. What brought me out to the 96707 was a new store that popped up just a hop away. Plus I've heard great things about KMA. So why not kill two birds with one stone? I love the array of shops and restaurants! Kapolei in general is bustling with so many shopping centers, you can make a day out of it! I grabbed a shirt from Spencer's, fashion jewelry at Lovisa, and even checked out the movies that day. Will check this place out again with my husband and young boys. There's a bubble play area and a big grassy lawn for active kids. Part two to be continued!
