I called to see if they could take me in literally when I was down the street, and they were able to work on my car almost right when I got there. This is my go to mechanic from now on! I wish I live closer to this shop!!! The owner Oscar was very nice, respectful, and honest. I made an appointment for a smog check. On the day of my appointment, the "check engine" came on and he immediately informed that my vehicle will not pass smog unless the check engine light is addressed first. Since I was already at the shop, he did a quick diagnostic and he informed me that the spark plugs need to be replaced. In less than an hour the plugs were replaced. In advance, he explained to me that if after driving for a few miles and the check engine is gone, he can complete the smog the same day. If it is still there, he will clear it but I would need to drive the vehicle for a few days before he can smog the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was still there. So after a few days of driving, I dropped in his shop without making an appointment since I was in the area. As soon as he recognized my vehicle, he did not waste any time. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. He was very responsive and respectful of my time. Highly highly recommended!!! read more
