Right off the bat, we didn't think either of the people working were overly friendly, and didn't really make us feel overly welcome. We decided to do two flights of red wine - kind of insane to me that a flight was $40, thank god we had a 2 for 1 discount. The other people in my party also said they'd give the experience a 2 or 3 stars - price was unbelievably expensive (especially when you can go down the street at Carboy and do a flight for half the price). No one was impressed by the service either - for a flight, I'd expect a little more background and explanation of the wines, but the person came and dropped off beakers of all the wine with a quick explanation then left it up to us to pour our own wines. The wines themselves were nothing spectacular either, two from Colorado and two from California grapes (I think) - we liked the blend but that was about it. Unfortunately would not recommend this place to others or come back.

I opted for the wine flight, which was great. It included 3 different types of red wines and they were each delicious. My fav was the cabernet franc. It was the best of the 3 for me. For food we went with the Red Rocker charcuterie board and it was great. They pick the 2 cheeses and 2 proteins, which are a rotating selection, along with pickled veggies and a spread with homemade wine tortilla chips. What I love about it is that you can tell the board is freshly made when it's ordered. I was also able to try a piece of the bruschetta with Poached Figs, Whipped Goat Cheese, Honey & Pine Nuts and it was to die for. If goat cheese is your thing, do not skip out on this one. The whipped cheese is crazy, Amazing texture and flavor. We stopped by a couple of days later for a glass of wine and it was packed but they were nice enough to let us stand on the side enjoying a glass till a seat opened up at the bar. They felt like long-time friends! Patrick poured us each a taste of a Sangiovese that wasn't on the menu and it was great (which is why we both ended up buying a bottle). We also had pizza with Patrick's secret ingredient - a drizzle of balsamic glaze - YUM! We didn't get the charcuterie board but another patron had it and it looked very, very good! Customer service was seriously exceptional! They were friendly, personable, and helpful. I felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us and they genuinely wanted us to leave happy. They even told us about upcoming events they are having at the Winery. Value is super reasonable too. Craig, the owner is very welcoming and does a super job running his company. I had a problem with my phone service. And he loaned me his phone for over an hour till I got my problem resolved.
