Issue with another camper (loud, after hours) was resolved quickly. Pretty simple. You follow the rules, stay here. If you don't, go somewhere else. Highly recommend this place.

I am here for a long term stay and I really like this site. I really do not understand the negative reviews from others that have stayed here before. You really have to see site for yourself! I went to other sites (northsound(NS) park) and I couldn't imagine staying there. NS park is a slum and dirty! At Lakeside RV, water, sewage and garbage are all inclusive. Wyatt and his team are awesome! I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I've been a resident of the park since Oct 2019 when I began working as a nurse in Everett and was there only part of the week so I bought a camper and moved in during the week to have a home away from home...I have a house in Whatcom County. I moved the camper recently to my house because I am leaving on maternity leave and left 2 messages asking for management to call me back confirming they received my message and inquiring about a pro-rated month. I never received a return call so I called a 3rd time and spoke with the new manager today. The new manger Amy was incredibly unprofessional and rude when I informed her that I had moved my camper out on 6/11/22 and requested a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the month that was paid in advance. Her response was that they don't give refunds. When asked if there is any paperwork that their customers are given to review or fill out that states they understand that Lakeside RV does not give refunds her answer was "no, we don't have that information anywhere". This doesn't seem legal and is clearly unprofessional. She said I could go ahead and have my attorney contact her but refused to give me her last name. I can't decide between the Better Business Bureau to help prevent future guests from getting robbed or an attorney I have yet to hire. Perhaps both.

There is no shade, which some may enjoy due to not having to worry about large trees falling on one's rig. When it comes to the playground there needs to be some sort of shade for the kids. 2. They are wanting to install a BBQ pit area in the field near the dog park but all RV'ers travel with cooking supplies and grills and there are no Tent sites for camping tents which people who are tent camping would benefit from the BBQ area. So it makes no sense to spend money on such a thing when no one will use it. 3. A swimming pool would change this R.V. park in an instant, it would become the hit place in town and they could easily charge more $$ per night for such a thing yet it constantly gets over looked. 4. A park upgrade could also change this place, everything is broken, and it's a half a$$ put together park/playground situation. The kids are always in the creek behind the park where there is shade because the playground is lacking so much. 5. Come summertime US-2 the highway that you drive on to get to and from town is terrible, stand still traffic every single weekend. Which means you loose your weekend stuck at the RV park with no shade or fun things to do unless you want to fight the traffic. 6. There use to be a good number of full timers and weekend visitors, it is now mostly full timers. Some with nice clean organized sites, some look like a dump field. There are no set rules it seems. Hopefully you get a clean, quiet neighbor. There have been field mice problems in people's rigs and car engines. 7. Ever since they added the Gracies place food into the resort the traffic coming in for coffee and food SPEEDS into the RV park going 35+, there are kids crossing that section of the road to get to the park and I've seen many times a car get too close to a kid coming in so fast. This is NOT ok. 8. The food at Gracie's place is Sysco food, it isn't the freshest. The wait time can be insane and the customer service could be improved a bit. 9. They state 2 dogs a site only, some sites have 3+ dogs. They also state 2 cars only per site, some sites have 2+ cars. They also state no trailers at your site, some sites have trailers parked at their site. Again there is no uniform rules. 10. This park has potential, it's been tossed around in management. No real guidance, it's surviving on pure luck and due to the fact that's it's the only RV park somewhat close to Seattle that's so flexible with its rules it will allow just about anything unlike the others closer to the city.

We rented a very cozy trailer which sleeps two people. We had everything we could need- two burner stove, very small fridge, table, restroom with shower. Outside we had a wooden bench, fire pit with chairs and box for wood. Beautiful marked trails in the area for an easy walk; no more than .5 miles round trip. We saw a couple of small waterfalls and beautiful moss covered trees! If you need anything during your stay just text a number and someone is there within a few minutes! This is a must stay for a relaxing getaway, multiple cabins in the area but you'd never know, everyone is separated by trees! Tips- very small space approx 140 sq ft so plan accordingly, don't bring your house with you! :-)

If you arrive late, you can park and check in in the morning (now that we've been doing this for a while, that seems to be the norm). Friendly staff, gorgeous views, beach access, base police make regular rounds, and the bathroom facilities are clean and warm. It's nice to take a shower in an area big enough that if you drop something, you don't have to get out of the shower to pick it up. ;-) The dogs loved the path and the nearness of the beach for potty potty breaks. Man, this place is so windy. If I might make a recommendation...keep your awning in. Only put it out when you plan to sit under it...otherwise, keep it in. Prices are competitive. There is a playground and giant chess set. BBQ's provided at each site. Back in, pull through, 50 amp, 30 amp, tent camping, yurts, oh...and fun "art" installations along the path. If you're into tetanus PT, there's a pull-up area covered in rust!

The Whidbey Scenic Isle Way is a nice stop to take pictures of the shoreline just past Fort Casey State Park. People were fishing and even scuba diving while I was walking around. The whole coastline is refreshing and a great way to put things in perspective. I enjoyed being there.

Has reservable shelters and also open picnic tables with fire pits. This was nice as we hung out by beach a full day while cooking and warming up with firepit The playground was basic but good. Otherwise, not much to do besides hang out by/walk along beach. Note: 405N has terrriiibbblllee traffic all the way through marysville on Friday evening. We drove from Kirkland around 5 pm and took almost 2 hours despite being only 40 miles away. So even though would think is a short/close camping place for the weekend--ended up being a pretty tiring Friday to try to go after work and arriving late

It is a Yurt with beds and power and not really much else…read more We were able to pay for firewood from the camp hosts and went back into town for dinner and bought camp chairs at a rite aid there. This is camping without the headache of setting up a tent and the comfort of an actual bed. We still had to bring pillows, sleeping bags, chairs, food, etc. There is a heater but the night was warm so we didn't use it. The biggest drawback, and it is huge, is the bathrooms are a pretty long walk and really inconvenient in the dark. So bring a flashlight and prepare for a hike if you have to go in the middle of the night. Overall I enjoyed it but it is overpriced for the amenities and the inconvenience of no close bathrooms.
