My vehicle is currently still at the service center, so this review is ongoing. In August, I brought my vehicle in for a cold-start high-pitched squeal. It was diagnosed as a serpentine belt issue and not covered under my extended warranty due to normal wear. I asked at that time that pulleys and tensioners be checked to ensure there was not a larger underlying issue, as the noise concerned me. I was told everything else checked out, so I proceeded with the repair. A few months later, the same noise returned. I dropped the vehicle off in mid-December and was later informed the issue was a timing chain repair estimated at over $6,000 -- just days after my extended warranty expired. I received a voicemail to notify me of the need for a $6400 repair, and ask if I'd like to be placed with a salesman so they can get me in something new. My concern is that the original noise was present and documented while the vehicle was still under warranty, and I have requested that this be reviewed as a continuation of the original concern rather than a new failure. Communication has been inconsistent, and I am still awaiting a discussion with the service manager regarding next steps. I am hopeful this can be reviewed fairly based on service history, and I will update this review once the matter is resolved. read more

She had to make a return trip 1 week later, same issue. The vehicle was sent to a body shop and promised to be delivered to our home after repairs. I have owned 2 Infiniti QX60 and I took both of them to Lake Norman for service. Now I won't harp on the fact any search on the web will tell you that their engines and transmissions from the 2017 -2019 are CRAP, that being set aside if you have products that have given your customers a hard time the last thing they need is grief to go with it. I bought a car from this dealership several month ago. At the time when I was getting a car noticed that engine has little oil spots. Sales person told me if you noticed more oil leak come back and we take care of it. In several days noticed oil leaking from engine . Came back to check car with their technician, after inspection I was told "yes it leaks but nothing they can do". After debating and standing my ground I was offered to perches a warranty and in this case I can open claim and fixed leak. This offer was absolutely ludicrous and I could not believe them any more. He filled out all the paperwork then left the room and we thought he was going to get our check for our car . When he returned he said our check would be mailed to us and we would get it in about 3 days . When the check never came , I called him and he went to see if it had been mailed and it had not . I have to say our experience today at Lake Norman Infinity was excellent. I had my doubts waking onto the lot, especially after my experience at Keffer Mazda the day before. The salesman, Kobe, immediately put my wife and I at ease and made the entire experience painless. Yes, painless. They guy was professional and took a consultative approach avoiding canned comments such as "what can I do to get you in this car" or "where do you want your payments at." Instead, he asked some easy questions and gave us the keys to go for a test drive, by ourselves. Upon returning, he maintained that same professionalism, never pushing, at least by my standards, and asked the right questions to qualify us such as "do you have a trade in" and "will you be financing." We left without purchasing a vehicle and he maintained the same level of professionalism. It's likely we will be purchasing a vehicle from him and I will follow up with that experience. Overall buying process was easy (pre-arranged financing with my bank and went to dealership with a specific car in mind) and I love the car; however, I would strongly recommend reconsidering a purchase if you are not from North Carolina and will need to register the car in another state. When I specifically asked, I was assured that the registration process would be smooth given their use of a third party who specializes in out of state registrations. I followed up with the dealership each week for 7 weeks after buying the car before finally being told that the third party needed additional documentation due to me arranging my own financing. Normally, this would have been only a minor inconvenience; however, it's now a bigger issue for me because the dealership asserts that they can only issue one 30-day temporary tag, which is furthermore problematic for me because 1) My apartment complex tows cars with expired plates and 2) I will incur additional costs (~$54/day RT) due to having to Uber to and from work each day that I am unable to drive the car because of expired temporary plates. I have had the car for 8 weeks now and am still waiting on my license plates. read more

Previously, I gave Lake Norman Infiniti 2 stars based on my full experience from sales to delivery to issues concerning the vehicle after delivery. Since then Mr. Rick Zoerb, the owner reached out to me and expressed concern for the the less than stellar experience I encountered and was willing to assist in correcting the problems. After getting in contact with his office, the ball got rolling on attending to the issues that needed correcting. I received my vehicle back from the service department and the issues have been resolved to my utmost satisfaction and I feel confident in the work that has been done. They greet you properly and the waiting area is always stocked with coffee & beverages as well as a TV and free WiFi. I was able to get some work done while they took care of my car. They wash it every time and vacuum the inside after they're finished, and take the time to explain everything to you without selling you more than you need. I needed a few things, but Ray (great service manager) said it can wait and not over spend on items that would be taken care of in the next 2 services. Carried my bag out to the car while I paid and stayed with the car until I arrived and closed the door with one final hand shake. This happens every time. Coming from a salesman and someone that has been to this dealership at least 10 times, I think everyone should read this if they want a fair and accurate description of the type of service to expect here! Salespeople are not only too pushy and obviously suck up to you but they become very rude and actually insult you if you give them answers they don't like. They gave me an absolutely ridiculous estimate on my trade in....they offered 25% lower than KBB's low range for what my car would be worth for a trade in in the condition it was in. They then told me that "noone goes by kbb, it doesn't mean anything." Salesmen also kept trying to get me into a lease even after i was adamant that i didnt want one. They badmouthed the dealership right next to them and said that Hyundai's are bad cars that need tons of maintenance. All in all, this is a place where they clearly treat you as a dollar sign and make no genuine attempt to even cover it up and appear like they car. They will low ball the shit out of you and claim they aren't even making money off you if you try to negotiate. My salesman even sat down w the numbers initially and tried to tell me that we could skip the haggling bc he already went through the trouble of getting the best price he could. The purchase process was very good and they handled my Internet lead in a professional manner. They were quick to get back to me and give me the information I requested. Delivery was quick and painless. F&I did a wonderful job with the paperwork. Through the speedy delivery a few things were missed that I was charged for (tint and door edge guards). Shame on me for not being aware they were in the deal. I should have read closer and got a 'we-owe' from the store as I ended paying out of pocket for window tint and did not get the door guards. The dealership is 40 miles from my home and I don't feel like driving up there to wait around to have that done (they did offer to honor that product - I'd rather have a refund on the products I paid for and didn't get). I guess the fault is on me and they ended up with an extra $500+ in gross in their pockets. Live and learn...
