The stunning Lake Sabrina is beautiful almost beyond words. On a blustery Fall day, we were lucky enough to find parking lakeside. Dozens and dozens of leaf peepers were there oohing and ahhing over the scenery. We saw the little boat landing hut and decided to check it out. Surprise, there was a cafe setting inside and shelter from the bone chilling wind. Suddenly, I was aware that it was lunchtime, and a burger and fries sounded like a good idea. It was nice to sit and warm up a bit while having hot food. It wasn't the most amazing fare, but the mere fact that it was hot food in this remote place was enough. My friend had the grilled cheese sandwich while I had a Sabrina Burger. My burger was okay, but the grilled cheese was made with American cheese in burger buns. Unless you are a big fan of American cheese slices, it was...adequate. the curled fries were extra- crispy and kind of odd. I'd skip them in the future.

Go for the fishing, leave with a pie! Don't let the "Open Fri-Sun" hours for the cafe fool you! Walked in on a Thursday crossing my fingers and sure enough they had fresh home baked pies available! Sooooo good! We got the peach/berry mix this time

Lake Sabrina is an absolutely beautiful lake that isn't too busy. One of my good friends tries to come up here at least once a month during Summer and I had the pleasure of coming along when he bought a boat. The landing is a small one, so only one boat can be launched at a time. There are plenty of boats and kayaks available for sale. We came with a group of about 15 and rented 2 boats and I brought my own inflatable kayak as well. I'd definitely recommend coming to visit! Make sure you arrive early to get decent parking! An awesome lake to fish, hike and boat!

We had such a fun time at Crowley Lake! We've been here before with friends who have been coming…read morefor years, but this was only our second trip. We rented a pontoon boat, spent the day fishing, and had a great time. My husband caught 6 perch, which made his day! We also went over to check out the columns, and they were really cool to see. Renting the boat was super easy, and Vince was awesome. He helped us leave the dock and was there when we came back in. He made everything really simple. The little store has pretty much everything you might need too :) fishing poles, bait, shirts, hats, and other gear at good prices. Also there are restrooms in the back past the fish cleaning station that are clean! Overall, it was just an awesome day on the lake. We'll definitely be back next year :)

You can bring a camper, food and bbq. The lake is big and the area is beautiful. It's great for fireworks because there are no trees so no obstructions and no matter where you stand, you're going to get a good view. There are lots of little bugs, so beware. Also, it took 1 hour to leave the parking area. This was my only complaint. They need better organization, especially since they charge $30 per car.
