We use this campground very near our home for setup and tear down for longer trips. It's the first place we went straight from the dealer. The staff is wonderful, the sites are all nice and level. Pool is beautiful and the clubhouse (fitness center, business center, bathrooms w/showers) is very nice and well kept. Although at the intersection of two major highways, we don't notice the noise much (although we live basically at that same intersection so maybe we are just used to it). The highways are elevated so that helps some. read more

We absolutely loved our stay here! Upon check in, we were greeted with two bottles of cold water and koozies, a thoughtful touch after a long drive. The assistant manager personally guided us to our site, took the time to clean off the sewer and electrical hookups, and was genuinely sweet and helpful the entire time. She really made us feel welcome. The amenities were top notch. Everything from the laundry and shower room to the clubhouse was spotless, modern, and very inviting. The pool gives resort vibes with pretty waterfalls, very relaxing and peaceful. The RV spots are a great size, paved, and perfectly level. Although the park is conveniently located right off the highway, it's incredibly quiet. We didn't hear any road noise at all, and the park overall had a calm, peaceful atmosphere. We'll definitely be staying here again when we're in the area! read more

Beautiful beautiful grounds! As my BFF and I were passing through on our way back to South tx, we turned into the grounds. After an hour or so of nice conversation with guest it was time to hit the road. The manager Cory met us by my truck to let us know we had an issue that needed to be addressed before we could safely get back on the road. Not only did he inform us of it, he fixed it for us! I can't rave more about the campground, guest and the management. If you ever find yourself in this area, please go tell Cory hello! We travel all over the US and booked this park for a four day stay due to a business meeting in Dallas. Have you ever heard of a park that wont accept mail or packages? We found this out upon arrival. That should be in big bold letters! Where will my business related packages go? They have already been shipped! Its clean and no other complaints yet as we just arrived today but do not recommend for a business traveler. I will ask the office what to do but doubt they will be empathetic based on other reviews. I will update. Talked with the office. This is a "transient" area and this address is prohibited by law to allow anyone to use this park address for anything at all. She was very kind to explain that our packages will be at the nearest 7/11. Whew! read more

The cancellation policy is Bull $#!+. We canceled over a month ahead of time an they kept our full deposit. NO ONE told us of this policy EVER ( would have been our 3rd time staying there). This is a very nice park with very big concrete lots. They did have daily problems with the water in the park. They were constantly have to shut the water off . They certainly still have some kinks to work out with that. This park is also very clean. The ice machine absolutely never has ice. There is only one way in and out. So my daily walks are only around the rv park. Lots of concrete and you can hear the traffic on 30. Location was pretty darn good for where I needed to be. They rate poor with communication. They would send emails all the time daily as to why water was off again or office hours and even the grand opening party but nothing about the original rate being an introductory or moving in special. When we got here we were told that the lot was 1,000 a month. We travel for work so I look at a park for longer stays. When we got to the park we were never told about a rate increase that would take place at the 1st of the year. I probably would of selected a different park just because I was going to have to move so soon to another park just based on the surprise rate increase. The park emailed me and the other residents about the rate increase and they did to everyone in the park 30 days before. Which means I need to move Before January 1 (New Years Day) before my spot would be 1,800$ a month. After that email I got another email about the office has limited office hours for the holiday weekend. I was pretty upset the surprise rate email as of the 1st of the year when the office would not be open to check us out. It was very inconvenient and very strange timing to do such a hike in rates. When we checked out not quit two weeks earlier than the 1st we really had an even worse experience. Without too many more details it just really upset both me and my husband even further. I did get an email from someone from the office asking if there was something she could do to make it right because we really were very upset when we left. I know we were not the only ones they did this to so I tried not to take it so personal but after my stay at this park I am at now I do believe that Lakeshore could of been more professional about how they did go about the rate increase. So for that I would say the amount of money they are asking from this point on I would not pay. I still feel burned and same for my husband which is a shame. Sooooo cute!! My bf and I needed to park our toy hauler for a night and this place was a total save. I'm the kind of person who looks for problems when I'm in a bad mood, and even I can't find a single one. That's why I'm here at 7 in the morning writing a review. The service was impeccable. One of the workers had come out and walked to where we parked just to ask if their was anything we needed and if there was, to let her know. I don't know that's probably just good service in the slightest but I do know that if it were me, I definitely wouldn't be walking anywhere for anyone. I will admit that I was kind of scared to come here because of the other review but when I drove up, this had to have been the nicest rv park I have ever seen!! (Disclaimer: I've only seen a few). As for pricing, it's pretty $$$ if you know what I mean. But I guess that makes a difference in quality. They have a whole game room with a pool table and an indoor pool! read more

Not family friendly. Will only allow 2 guests at a time. Informed them of early check out; however still charged us for the original check out date because no one at the front desk informed us that it had to put it in writing. We were told that we would be required to pay for the entire stay even if we did not stay. In order to "hold a site for your stay" you must pay weeks in advance in order to get that spot. No one ever told us that we will be charged those 3 weeks until arrival date which were charged and just told "that the SOP". At least a once a week the water is turned off for pipe breakage. Pool water is dirty; only cleaned once a week. Management has knowledge of customers that do not bath daily going to the pool once a week with soap and taking a bath in the pool. **nasty** No designated parking. While we were on-site, one of the office clerks was driving the park cart and ran over a dog and killed it. Favors are only given to the few full-timers. Management will tell you that the staff cannot fraternize with the guest; however, management and other staff go to parties with guest. We have been going to the park since it opened being one of the first guest at the park. It was extremely nice for a couple of years and then progressively the rules for the park did not want customers to have fun. Just pay your money and leave. read more

Although this is a nice clean park, I cannot give them a 5 1). Due to the almost daily water issues for 6 months, and lack of communication about such issues. Due to the waterlines not installed properly during the Christmas freeze we were without water for 2 days Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and there was not enough pressure to fill our water tank. They did not have a contingency plan to provide water to the campers at the park. 2) the noise from the highway is quite loud- there is nothing more they could do about this as it is right along 2 major highways. If you stay- ask for spaces towards the back by the lake (northeast corner area) 3) they had a grand opening monthly rental price of $1000, and after 6 months we received an email stating that they were raising the rent to post grand opening rates of $1800- due to many complaints of a 800% increase- management came back and stated rent would be $1450- a 450% increase instead. We thought that the current tenants should have had a fair increase and that anyone after that that came in should be charged their current rate. A lot of full time campers left in December 2022 due to the above issues. read more

My husband and I travel for our business and usually try to find a nice place to end the work day and enjoy our weekends . We stayed at this resort August 2022. The staff was great, very friendly and patient . The resort is one of the nicest resorts we have stayed in. Clubhouse was great along with a great pool and hot tub, super clean and modern. This resort is a gem! It is fun & easy to stay here. The people who run and manage the place are friendly, kind & helpful! The other visitors and their families that we have encountered have been friendly and fun. The property grounds are well maintained. It is neat & tidy. There are numerous helpful amenities at the Amenities Center including a laundromat (7 washers and 14 dryers - using an app to pay per load), gym, grills, a pool table, Shuffleboard, ice maker & coffee maker. It is pet friendly and they have at least 2 dog parks that I have seen. The bathrooms are gorgeous & kept clean. They have white marble walls and giant rustic wood doors. The pool and hot tub are fun & relaxing places to hang out and socialize or spend time with friends and family. And this gated resort overlooks the water on the other side of the gate. Overall, if you are looking for a fun, safe, beautiful place to bring your family and friends to camp out in your RV, this is a place I would highly recommend!
