I love this place. We've been going here since we moved to Calimesa nearly five years ago. This time I tried a Club sandwich with Fries. Everything was fresh and crispy and tasted amazing. A large order of onion rings came in a huge BOX and the double cheese burger was classically styled with no frills and straight ahead Americana. I had a horrible experience first the lady took my order when I got to the window. She charged me but forgot to add the two shakes which was fine. She still fixed it but I spent about almost $60 and all my hamburgers were soggy. Also I didn't order a chili cheese fry. I ordered a regular fry and they gave me a chili cheese fry it was soggy as well. I also mentioned that I wanted my fries Well done honestly please don't come here and spend your money. Came here today the girl in the drive through was rude, she was rude in the beginning in the speaker. I guess when you order the Jr burger it's just pain which I didn't knew. Then at the window the lady told me if I wanted mayo and lettuce and I told her I didn't want tomato or onions since the beginning in the speaker again I didn't know it was just plain. Been coming here a while, but that may change. Last few times we have ordered burgers are so greasy that the buns are soaked and soggy to the point you can't pick it up because it just falls apart. We have come here for years, even back when it was John's Philly Cheesecake. The name has changed, but the menu is the same, so I'm not sure if it's a new owner or they just changed the name. Let me first say, that their Customer Service has been great. Very friendly, polite, no complaints. However, we have noticed a decline in the food in recent months. The burgers seem to be very thin now. The burritos are never full. Definitely a cost saving measure I'm sure. But the prices are still high! We ordered: A bacon avocado cheeseburger with an extra patty. A medium drink A large drink A zucchini A Philly Cheesesteak meat and cheese only burrito It was $55 No problem, you get what you pay for. Except I didn't. The burger had one piece of bacon, a thin layer of avocado, and the patties were as thin as McDonald's cheap burgers. The meat and cheese only burrito had lettuce, tomato, unmelted shredded cheese and there wasn't even a good amount of meat in it, when we paid extra for an all meat burrito. We took the burrito back inside and they did remake it (still the unmelted shredded cheese) but they at least tried to rectify it and apologized. (More good customer service). Honestly, for $55 we could go get a sit down meal, so why continue to go back when the food is mediocre? read more

Came for our first visit. Saw this as we drove by on Yucaipa Blvd. Service is excellent, everyone was very attentive. We really enjoyed our meals. Loads of meat on the Carnitas Chilequiles. (With 3 eggs) My steak was perfect med-well. (With 3 eggs) Fried mushrooms were so very tasty. Obviously we could share plates. And probably will next time. I was excited to try Mega Burger I was getting tired of the in n Out, Cane's, Chick filA, etc and was looking for something different. They have a vast menu. Unfortunately, they SUCK. Grand daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. They arrived burnt. My other grand daughter ordered the chicken strips. They were try and tasteless. My son, wife and myself ordered burgers. They were large but tasteless. They messed up the order which the server blamed on new kitchen staff. I guess that also explains how I ended up with massive diarrhea throughout the night. $70 dinner, literally, down the toilet. I won't be back. I should have stuck with the regular places. read more

The menus are on large flatscreens so they are nice to see. The store is nice and clean and the staff are super friendly.. This visit I stopped in as I was told they have a massive breakfast burrito for $10.. I ordered the breakfast burrito that had bacon, ham, sausage, potato, egg, and cheese. The burrito was $15 and and with the tax and surcharge for using my debit card, it was just under $17.. The burrito was good and tasty, but was smaller than two other places town that sell them for $12 with my debit card.. We chose their breakfast special of 2 eggs,2 plump and juicy sausages,2 fluffy pancakes and the classic ham and eggs plate with freshly made (and perfectly done!) hash brown potatoes. Everything was ready in just a few minutes and was fresh and tasty! They bring it to your table and the server came back often to check if we needed more coffee-a great experience! The service in this restaurant is great. I have been here many times and the cashiers/servers are super nice! We come in so often the cooks even know us! The food is always hot! I usually get a cheeseburger and I love the fact that they char broil them. Char broiling a burger gives it a wonderful flavor you can't get from grilling them. Food is always good, but customer services is not great. The first time my family visited, the cashier gal asked if we wanted our food for there or to go. I replied to go please. She put the order in for there. Then when our food was ready, the same gal told the other girl that I had asked to eat there and I was standing within ear shot. Although an easy fix, it seemed as if she was trying to cover her mistake instead of owning it. I thought that was very rude. My BF and I decided to go an try the menudo for breakfast yesterday. It was a very generous sized bowl (it should be for $14 each). It was NOT worth the price. So bland, really had to doctor it up. The gal at the counter was friendly. People arriving after us were receiving their menudo. I told the BF, he asked me if I was sure. I said yes. Took the little girl 20 minutes to bring HIS bowl. Too flirtaious with him, didn't even acknowledge that I was there. She brought the condiments, and walked away. BF stopped her FIVE MINUTES LATER asking about my food. She said "oh, you ordered menudo too?". I said nothing. She brings my bowl and asked BF if he needed anything else. We both decided that we will not return.
