Great food and super nice people. We love the lamb Gyros. They also have authentic Indian food on Saturday. Give this a try!

Atmosphere is spot on when it comes to an Irish pub. (Last summer we were in Ireland, taking part in many a Guinness and other things in various pubs.) We had a wonderful waitress...and I'm sad we can't remember her name. A lady in her 40s or 50s. She was super attentive, nice and welcoming. Wait time wasn't long, everything came out quickly. Our family group had burgers, shrimp and grits and a Sheppard's pie (actually a cottage pie). We also shared an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. The portions are large and almost all of us took another full meal home when all was said and done. Tasted great, we just couldn't finish it all! The location is nice too, lots to do down that strip. As for costs, it was on par with other places with the same food quality. If you're in town, this place is a must!

A big deal was made that we would not be charged for it. A couple of us went with the grouper over jambalaya special. The fish was fantastic with a light, fried crust. Everything else was stone cold. The restaurant was a bit chaotic and our server was not to be seen so I finished most of the fish before being asked if I was enjoying my meal. We did not eat the cold side.

So I had seen this spot for ages and I have never been inside. So I tried to make a point to go in…read morebecause I was in the area. It's in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking, but you may not be able to park close to where you want to walk to the door to because there are so many other spots there. But the parking is free in Buckhead. So that's a plus! There's spaces inside and outside for you to go to, so that's good, but the inside is very nice and decorated very well. They have TV so you can watch sports but it's not a sports bar so don't get that confused. The bar is a nice size and set it pretty well. Not billions of bottles but just enough to what you need. Dean was my my server and bartender, super good customer service, very warm and communicative, and I would have come back just to sit at the bar with him again. The ball is very well kept and very clean, but the whole establishment was as well. They have a lot of space by the bar and to the other side of the restaurant as well. The menu is predominantly seafood related but they have other things as well. But they have a couple things that look like. They should be really really good so I am going to have to double back! Calamari - The calamari was pretty good. It came out really fast so it makes me think that they were already cooking by the time I ordered LOL. But it had a sweet chili sauce to it, but the calamari seem to be crispy and seasoned enough to where it wasn't a requirement. Brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts for good, kind of wish they had more of them but they were still pretty tasty. Overall. They had the vinaigrette flavor so I know that they were cooked well. They were more firmed and mushy so that was good. I would get them again and I was see. Can I get a full order instead of just a side order because they were just that good. Old bay fries - The Old Bay fries were okay. They had that sodium to where you needed ketchup to kind of bring the sweet. But they were still good though regardless. Shrimp tacos - these were good. Had 3 large shrimp. Got mine blackened and they were just the right amount of taste and flavor. The sauce on it was a little much but that was okay though, it balanced out all of the spice for the peppers and the shrimp seasoning. Gumbo - the gumbo was pretty good and it came in a large bowl, more than you would think a cup would be. Savory and tasty. Overall, with the quality of the food and the customer service, I feel like this place definitely deserves my attention again. The first time I went in I only had a couple of appetizers, and that really didn't do it justice.

Ambiance I appreciated that the music was there but it was at a volume I could actually hear what others are saying. This place has good food, good service and a casual place to hang and actually talk.

cannot say enough good things about Eatz on the Corner! If you're looking for an incredible meal…read morethat won't break the bank, this is the spot. First off, the food was absolutely amazing. Every bite was packed with flavor, you can really tell they care about the quality of what they're serving. Beyond the kitchen, the service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. One of the biggest wins for me was the outdoor seating. It's so hard to find great spots where I can sit outside with my furbabies, but they were so welcoming to my dogs. Plus, when the bill came, I was shocked at how low the price was for the amount and quality of food we got. Great vibes, delicious eats, and pet-friendly, we will definitely be back

All orders were correct and came out in a timely manner considering they were cooked fresh to order! Highly recommend the grouper and the catfish. The slaw has a wonderful sweet taste and the fries and onion rings were hot and crispy. Several got the vegetarian options and said they were seasoned to perfection--one was tofu dish and the other was a stir fry. Mac & cheese was a special of the day and had a wonderful sharp cheddar flavor. We were most impressed with the food and the service. Give Eatz on the Corner a try!!!

Blew Me Away Everything Was a Hit…read more This place absolutely blew me away. The atmosphere was amazing perfect dinner hangout or date spot. Great vibe without trying too hard. The food? Incredible across the board. I'm not even a big fish guy, but I got the fish and chips and loved it. That alone says a lot. Spinach dip loved it. Fish tacos loved them. Dessert loved it. Beer loved it. There's a ton of variety on the menu, and everything we tried delivered. That kind of consistency is rare. Service was over-the-top good. Attentive, friendly, and added to the whole experience. Price felt exactly right for a date night spot not cheap, but definitely worth it for the quality. Couldn't be happier with this one. I'll absolutely be back. Overall: Easy 5/5 no hesitation.

We had been in this part of Decatur many times and I never heard of it. We took the quick 5 minute ride over and I realized we had passed it many times. I think it had a different name last I noticed. As we approached I noticed the nice sized parking lot. A quick estimate, it could hold about 40 - 50 cars. I quickly found an open spot and walked over to the entrance. We entered and I could see the host walking toward us. He greeted us warmly, we let him know we were a party of 2 and preferred to sit outside. He informed us we could head out there and pick our own seat. We walked through the dark interior and headed outside using the side door. We found a table at the end of the patio near the front of the restaurant. There was plenty of outside seating on their patio and many of the tables were covered or had an umbrella. It was a little cooler than I expected so I ran back over to the car to pick up my jacket. I returned to the table and our friendly server came by and asked if we were ready to order. We were happy to see they had an extensive beer menu and I chose the Hi-Pitch Mosaic IPA from Hi-Wire brewing and Wifey ordered the Harp Lager. For food, we kept it simple and decided to share the Pork Nachos appetizer. Our waters came out next, and then the beers came out soon after. As we were hanging around and enjoying the patio I noticed the place was very dog friendly. The Pork Nachos arrived and were excellent. It was not a huge portion, but the perfect size for what we were looking for. The chips were crispy and the pulled pork was seasoned well. All the ingredients worked well together. We would definitely recommend the nachos if you visit Wheelhouse. Overall, this was a very good experience during our 1st visit here and we will definitely return when in the area.
