My grandson and I went out for a lunch date and he chose Eatz on the Corner because he wanted to try something new. (Not from here). He ordered the mild wings and he enjoyed them so much he talked about those wings the rest of the day. He commented they are by far the best he's ever had. The sauce was homemade. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was very tasty as well. I would definitely recommend Eatz and will be back soon myself. Dropped by with group of 16 during peak lunch time and still got excellent service! Two great servers dedicated to our back patio seating. All orders were correct and came out in a timely manner considering they were cooked fresh to order! Highly recommend the grouper and the catfish. The slaw has a wonderful sweet taste and the fries and onion rings were hot and crispy. Several got the vegetarian options and said they were seasoned to perfection--one was tofu dish and the other was a stir fry. Mac & cheese was a special of the day and had a wonderful sharp cheddar flavor. We were most impressed with the food and the service. Give Eatz on the Corner a try!!! read more

This place was okay. There wasn't anything really special about it. I would say soon as you walk in it was hot and there were flies all around the place. Soon as we sat down we ordered drinks which was really nice the drinks were amazing but I've noticed while we were drinking the servers were looking hard over here. I felt watched the whole time. We ordered onion rings which were amazing too but the sauce tasted like how can of air and hot suace would be together. There was a lady who was leaving that said that we were in good hands with the other cook but clearly not because the only thing that was good was the collards greens. Like omg flies everywhere just landing on our food and it was hot so we're clearly ready to go. Overall it was hot,flies all over, getting looked at hard, and the cook can't cook. Just Wow! Had the fried grouper and it was two really big pieces and they were fried to perfection! I can't remember the last time I had several things on my plate and they were ALL excellent. The coleslaw was creamy and a bit sweet and I also had mac & cheese which was a special today and it very very flavorful. We slipped into EOTC for lunch today, and what a treat! First, they were wonderfully busy!! Nearly every table was filled. We found a two-top and soon after were greeted by a friendly server. Second, the special of the day (BBQ chicken with green beans and collards) and the "Shroom Burger" were quite delicious. Tasty, well-cooked and seasoned, generous portions, and the perfect temps. Our waiter was very professional, dressed appropriately, knew the menu and eager to serve. The food was delicious, hot with live fire and plenty. Entrees purchased....Shrimp and Grits, Fish Red snapper with rice. BBQ wings(15) with those world class onion rings. Plate to go Curry Stir Fry chicken with rice, plantain and Arnold Palmer and Peach like beverage. Very yummy! We were made comfortable the entire experience. For dinner, we stopped at one of the very few places open on Mondays in Pine Mountain, GA: @eatzonthecorner. I'm glad they were open because this place is great! The server told us their signature dish is the Shrimp and Grits and the Fish and Grits. I opted for the Shrimp and Grits. My goodness was this a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. Whatever secret seasoning they put on that shrimp, not only did it make the shrimp tasty, but woke up those grits too. I inhaled this bowl. So good! Mah Wife opted for the the weekly special, which was the Bourbon Glazed smoked ribs. These ribs were perfect. Tender, but with a nice chew and toothiness. A nice spicy front end and a sweet finish. For dessert we got the Apple Cream Bomb. It's an caramel apple pecan tart served on a screaming hot cast iron skillet with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. The only negative is I wish I had a bigger spoon. A fantastic finish to a great dinner. read more

We ate at EATZ yesterday and food was fabulous. We had the meatloaf as they had sold out of oxtails. The sauce on the meatloaf was delicious, so wonderfully different. Well flavored but not too hot or spicy. We go there fairly regularly and have never been disappointed. read more

This little place on the corner puts BIG TASTE on the table. A casual full service restaurant in downtown Pine Mountain. The menu has a spiced island flare to it. The salmon empanadas are my favorite appetizer. The entrees vary from our towns BEST BURGER to oxtail curry, vegan fried tofu, and awesome salad choices; we've tried the shrimp and grits and chicken curry. All excellent. They offer mouth watering steaks to but I've not tried those. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Will def be returning soon. 5 out of 5 stars! read more

This place is amazing. It may be small, yet it packs a punch. The food was so flavorful. The atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. Food is cooked fresh and came out hot. I am normally not a lemon pepper wing person. Yet I tried one of my daughters and I was blown away. They were crisp and the flavor was perfect. I was blown away. The catfish was cooked perfectly and flavorfully. The salmon and sauce on it was amazing on the burgers. If in the area you need to stop here. It's a smaller place but they have outside seating in front and behind the store. They can seat large parties as well. When I moved to Georgia a few years ago, I was beyond disappointed to find out there was a single good barbecue place that I could find. I know that Texas, the Carolinas and Tennessee are known for it, but for some reason, I thought Georgia and the south in general would have a decent barbecue place in every town around. That's definitely not the case. Luckily I stopped here on the way home from Calloway Gardens and boy am I happy I did. The place serves Jamaican food for the most part but they also have burgers, wings and the like. I was told by a few of the people I was with that their burgers are outstanding, but for the Labor Day weekend, they had a special menu with ribs and jerk chicken off the smoker. I went with the ribs and I can honestly say they were some of the best I've had in a really long time and definitely the best I've had in the state of Georgia. Unfortunately, they only make them during holidays and mainly over the summer. I hope they read this and start to do it more often because I can tell you I would drive down from Atlanta on the regular just for the barbecue. Had a table of three when we first get there our server takes atleast 10 minutes to take our drinks then says go ahead and do the food. Got fried catfish which was okay. I asked for grilled shrimp got fried the greens were very gross. Couldn't trade it out for anything which most places let you if you like something. Especially if your meal was 16 bucks. then the server recommended this sauce that was 78 cent which wasn't that good. Also got a burger which is the only good part. The server was rude and towards the end had my card for at least 15 minutes. I don't recommend and for 57 dollars definitely do not recommend. read more

We had dinner at EatZ on Friday night and were not disappointed. I had beef oxtail for the first time. It is a dish I had been reluctant to try before but based on the waitress's recommendation and authentic vibes, I was enthusiastic. As a warning I guess she told me that it wasn't a knife and fork meal. I would have to get into it and suck the meat from the bone. Of course, she was right. It was so tender and delicious. The small bone pieces piled up. The entree came with rice, black beans, and fried plantains. All were great. I'm an on and off fan of plantains but these were great. The restaurant is nothing fancy but that's the point. It's the food. Six to eight tables. Super friendly staff. No alcohol served but brown bag welcome. read more

This is a small restaurant that serves burgers and such. It took us 30 minutes to get 3 burgers and fries/salad. I ordered a medium rare lettuce burger. It was delivered well done and the waitress said that's what they served. The lettuce was two thin wilted leaves. My daughter ordered a ginger pineapple drink which was $4 on the menu. When she received her bill, she was charged $5.25 instead. We will not be returning. read more
