I was very nervous, but they did it all with local anesthetic, there was no pain, and Dr Nakashyan hummed along with the background music the whole time, which was distracting in the best way & genuinely calming--not a word I expected to associate with a tooth being pulled out of my face. When I made my appointment, I was explicitly told over the phone that they accepted CareCredit. When I arrived, however, I was told they could not accept it for my consultation because the charge was under $250. There seems to be confusion between the minimum transaction amount required for promotional financing and the minimum amount required to use a CareCredit account. Those are not the same thing. During my consultation, I was told that I was not a candidate for the procedure I had been referred for and that I would instead need an extraction. I was understandably devastated, but proceeded with the necessary imaging so I could understand my options. That imaging was over $200 but, conveniently, still below their alleged $250 minimum for CareCredit. I was then given a treatment estimate of over $5,000. I was told that the periodontist had spoken with my primary dentist and that my dentist would be calling me to discuss the situation and possible options. I specifically said I wanted to speak with him before agreeing to any further treatment. Despite following up, I never received that call, so I have no idea what was actually discussed. The billing experience was equally frustrating. Before I left, I was repeatedly asked to pay for the imaging, but was told I could not use CareCredit. No one offered to combine the consultation and imaging charges so that the total could be processed through CareCredit. Instead, I was directed toward other payment options. I declined and left the balance unpaid. I have since seen other reviews mentioning concerns about billing transparency, and unfortunately, my experience reinforced those concerns. I am happy to pay any legitimate remaining balance using CareCredit, as I was told when I scheduled that this office accepted it. I am certain that CareCredit's merchant department will address whether this office's payment practices comply with their agreement. One final note: the office is located in a dilapidated building that is currently under construction. Given the cost of these services, I was surprised that there was no dedicated patient restroom, only a single women's restroom in the hallway shared by other businesses. I waited for nearly 10 minutes for the person occupying the restroom to come out, and then gave up and stopped elsewhere on my way home.

I recently had gum recession surgery with Dr. Sedler, and I cannot recommend her enough. I was so…read morenervous about the experience, but from start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations (if that's even possible for a gum recession procedure!). She has a gift for communication -- she explained everything thoroughly so I always felt informed, while at the same time shielding me from unnecessary worry during the procedure. She talked me through the entire procedure in such a calm and reassuring way that I felt comfortable the whole time. Her assistant was equally wonderful -- so kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the process. Together, they made me feel genuinely cared for as a patient, not just another appointment. Sometimes it feels rare to find a doctor/dentist who has great technical skill and offers such compassion, and I feel truly grateful to have been in her care. If you're looking for a periodontist, I highly highly recommend Dr. Sedler and her team!

I would recommend him to anyone . I'm deducting one star due to the billing side of the practice. It's worth noting they collect payment the day of any visit/procedure. It seems they charge based on a projected fee covered by insurance. This is a minor inconvenience. I payed the projected amount, and my insurance covered more than projected, so I'm owed the over amount. I'm sure I will receive payment but it's been a month and still nothing. Not sure if they give credit on my next visit or I'll receive a check in the mail. I'll call the front desk to see what's what. I wish they just waited to see what the insurance covers before billing like my dentist.

I called as a brand-new patient, and even though her office was busy, they still fit me in--which I really appreciated. My dental situation was definitely more complicated than most, but Dr. Kashani took the time to carefully assess everything and strategically build a treatment plan for me. Today she did my temporary crown, and I was honestly impressed--it looked just as good as my natural teeth, and I barely felt any discomfort, even during the local anesthesia. She also went above and beyond by considering my insurance coverage, what I'd be paying out of pocket, and balancing aesthetics with practicality. That level of detail and care gave me full confidence I was in the right hands. Her office is modern, clean, and conveniently located, with plenty of street parking as well as a lot behind the building. The staff is warm, professional, and friendly--they made me feel comfortable right away. As a nice bonus, they even sent me home with a goodie bag! I had my dental cleaning yesterday at Lakeside Dentistry and it went swimmingly well. First of all many precautions were taken to protect against the COVID-19 virus. The employees in the reception area and patients are protected with acrylic glass shields along the entire counter. All employees wear a mask. The hygienist remains in the exam/cleaning room and now an employee from the front office escorts patients to and from the exam room. My hygienist, Sonny, was completely covered in a clean room type gown with goggles, gloves, mask and full face shield. She did her routinely professional work. I am a scientist by academic training and I felt very safe during this visit. Lakeside Dentistry has been a great find for me. read more

I had a minor toothache and was due for a cleaning so, after talking to someone who raved about him, I made an appointment with Toluca Lake Dentistry. People always talk about how hard it is to find a great dentist and I'm thrilled to say that I was lucky on the first try. Everything was smooth and painless-the office was spotless, the receptionist was very sweet, the hygienist was gentle and thorough, the equipment was super high tech and the doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. I don't have dental insurance, but the prices were reasonable. My toothache turned out to be just s densitivity issue, but if I ever need work done (let's hope not!) I won't go anywhere else. Have been going to Lakeside Dentistry for more than 10 years. It's hard to imagine getting dental care from anyone else but Dr Angulo and his team...they are great. Adrienne became my hygienist when I started going there...and she has coached me well and helped me avoid lots of dental problems. And the office staff are the best...I wish I knew everyone's name...but just call and talk to Angie and you will be in good hands. I always have a positive experience at Lakeside Dentistry. It starts at the top --- Dr. Angulo is a seasoned Pro and knows what to do, who to hire, and how to keep his patients (clients) safe, healthy and well. The experience is exceptional from the front --- Angie and Jennie, all the assistants, their Hygienist Adrienne --- the whole group work to help me every time. I had a serious issue with a bone infection that was totally mishandled by my previous dentist. I was referred to Dr. Angulo(Dentist) by a friend, and he referred me to Dr. Exler(Periodontist) who works with the group. While it was a long process, I have been going back to them for routine care and checkups for years, even though it is a one hour drive each way. The staff is friendly and helpful. My tooth broke in half and I needed to see a dentist. I don't have a regular one so I asked in a…read morelocal mom's group. Dr. Luiza was recommended by a few moms, so I decided to call the office. The receptionist was so nice and was able to fit me in within 2 days. I love that the office has plenty of free street parking and is so easy to get to. The front office staff, Ruzanne, was so friendly and kind! I had my son with me and she made sure to make us both feel welcome. When they called me in, Dr. Luiza was so attentive and knowledgable. She explained to me which tooth had broken, what happens inside the mouth and gums when this happens, and how to take care of my teeth better for the future. She didn't recommend unnecessary procedures or make me feel bad for not regularly seeing a dentist. She explained with such warmth how important taking care of our teeth is, without being pushy. I loved my entire experience and would definitely recommend Magnolia Dental Studio

They are knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and truly care about their patients. They take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make you feel comfortable and confident in your care. It's clear that they genuinely love what they do. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Hasmik and Mara, who are wonderful dental hygienist assistants. They are so friendly, professional, attentive, and make the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. The entire team at My Dentist Burbank is amazing. It's rare to find a dental office where everyone--from the front desk to the doctors and assistants--is this caring and exceptional. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!
