It is hard to find a good, reliable, gentle and trustworthy dentist. I am fortunate to have been a part of this practice for over 20 years. Clearly with a couple of visits per year, i've had plenty of experience to give an opinion. Sunny is my go to for regular teeth cleaning. Dr. Don has been a great dentist and always took care of minor issues before they became much of a concern. More recently Dr. Amanda had taken over for many of his patients as he slowly transitions to retirement. She is just as kind, personable and gentle. I am happy to have such great care to keep my teeth healthy. Currently, due to the pandemic, it is most important the cleanliness and protocols to keep us safe. The communication of what they do for cleaning the office (filteration, fogging, etc) to waiting in our cars til our appointment time, temperature checks to all the cover up that is warn by those working on us is second to none. I have felt more than comfortable the couple times I have been back since Covid started. If you need a good dental group and they are taking new patients, this is the spot. I drive about 45 mins from my current home and it's worth it for the service. read more

My dentist who I love unfortunately closed his practice during Covid. So my teeth were definitely overdue for a cleaning. My coworker mentioned that his dentist was in Burbank and he highly recommended them. I used to live in MPK and would commute to Glendale to see my last dentist. I have since moved to North Holllywood, so Burbank was perfect. Got their info from my coworker and made an appointmnet for a cleaning. Was happy to learn they had early openings so I made my cleaning for 7am. I got there but accidentally drove into the UCLA medical center. I had to move my car into the Lakeside lot and was a few minutes late. The receptionist called me and directed me to the right place. Staff there is really nice - I checked in and got my temperture taken. Then saw the dential hygentist Maureen for my cleaning. She was very friendly and thorough. It had been a while so my teeth was due for a good cleaning! After I was done, I went to see Grace for my xrays. She was super nice and patient as well. Once she got the xrays, love how instant it is, Dr. Amanda came in and examined my teeth and the xrays. She talked me through some potential issues and recommedned seeing a dentist that focuses on root canals to get an evaluation. Overall a great experience and I was out of there by 8:30am and home before work started at 9! read more

I can't speak on their dental work but I sure will speak on the ladies in the front. I brought my friend to their appointment and waited in their lobby. I find it absolutely disgusting how one of the receptionist was conversing with one of the patients. Imagine sitting in a dental office waiting and you hear the patient going on and on about other peoples appearance. I.e calling someone fat/not attractive/ saying she had dumpy cheap clothing etc. And then you hear the receptionist laughing along and carrying conversation. Always the best patient and white-glove care. I had hated going to the dentist until I started going to Dr. David Angulo many years ago. Now, his daughter and practice partner, Dr. Amanda Angulo, has taken over my case/chart and oral health and still couldn't be happier. Caring staff across the board. The front desk support, hygienist, doctors, and even the valet parker who doesn't work for them, everyone is so nice. The waiting room and restroom are top tier clean and the overall experience is like being a guest in a boutique luxury day spa. Every room has your own private TV with every channel (including all the sports/golf, etc.) and it seems like they always continue investing in new cutting edge machines and tools in dentistry technology to help more people feel at ease. Didn't take pictures but will update this review when I'm back there in 4 months. It's so nice, I've started getting my teeth cleaned 3 times a year now and just pay out of pocket for the 3rd, worth every penny. Lastly- some of the dentists offer "off-menu" items such as Botox injections and other vanity type items or services. Not covered under insurance but the convenience and talent is amazing. I love Lakeside dentistry! Appointments are easy to make, usually sooner than later, with no hassle changes if necessary. The office is clean and comfortable with free parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful and handle all insurance with courtesy and ease. I've never waited more than five minutes to be invited in from the waiting room for my appointment. The hygienists are highly skilled, efficient, and considerate. I've only been treated by Dr. Angulo, but can only assume that all the dentists are just as amazing, which is good to know in the event your regular dentist isn't available in an emergency. I was referred to Lakeside by a friend after my dentist in Santa Monica stopped taking insurance, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Highest recommendation! read more
