I reached out to corporate on Monday and received a reply that someone from the Boise/Meridian location would be contacting me within 24-48 hours. That has not happened, so I am posting here. Monday, July 13. We have always loved our Top Golf experiences. Tonight was sadly a disappointment. In all our other visits we have never been given a time limit. We were always able to keep playing games, ordering food and drinks until we were done. Tonight we had a work celebration party of 7 people. We hadn't finished our food - not even the appetizers, and were only on round 3 of our first golf game and suddenly our waitress informed us she needed to start closing out our tab because we only had 10 minutes left of our time. We had no idea we were on a time limit. There were many tables open next to us. I hadn't even gotten to order the cocktail I was planning to have at the end of the meal yet. Only got through half of the 4th round of our game, so no final scores. It was such an abrupt finish to what should have been an amazing night. We still had most of our food uneaten, and getting rushed out we were scrambling to box up the food and close tabs. My food ended up accidentally getting knocked onto the floor in all of the mad rush, so half of the Caesar salad wrap and all the tater tots just flew all over the floor. No finished game, no finished foods, it was a really disappointing night. We looked into trying to get another reservation to move to another table, but we were told there was a 30 minute wait to get into another table. If there hadn't been a 30 minute wait everyone would've stayed and you would've made so much more money from our table playing another game, ordering cocktails, etc. now you just have unhappy customers who are rushed out the door feeling unappreciated. I really feel we should be refunded for our experience. I did speak to the staff at the location before we left, and their only response was "sorry, it's summer and it's busy" as they nodded and listened to me vent. No other explanation as to why the time limit had been implemented, or why we were not made aware that there would be a time limit when we made our reservation for 5:45. We were given an hour - an HOUR for a group of 7 people to eat, have drinks and play a game of golf? This was a team building event - there's no way we could have even had time to talk and get all of that done in an hour. If we had been aware that our dinner reservation was set to a timer, we would have chosen a different location for our event. I am hopeful you can find a resolution for this situation. We do not live in Boise, just here until Thursday for a conference. We do not have a Topgolf in our home town, so we are only able to patronize your business when we are traveling. We went to Boise for my granddaughter's wedding. We got an awesome Airbnb in Boise. My daughter and my grandson came with. They were really excited to see there was a Top Golf near by so of course we had to book a session. I have never been to Top Golf. We have one in Roseville, CA We ordered beer, drinks, burgers, chicken strips and macaroni cheese balls. We had an absolutely great time! I think I actually like golf now. Who knew? If you ever get invited to Top Golf, Do It!!! So fun, I can't wait until I go again!! I was really surprised at how good the food was. My husband and I got invited to come kick it at Top Golf with a couple friends. My husband has been to a few out of state Top Golfs and to this one in town. I have yet to try one out so I was excited to come and check out the venue. There were quite a few of us so my husband and I decided to just hang out and absorb the vibe. We took up two bays with our group. Everyone took turns hitting the ball. It was fun watching how far the balls can go. The server that was taking care of us tonight did a great job! A few of our friends ordered some food. I can't really share food with our friends cause of my new kidney. What they ordered looked fabulous! Nachos, a hummus plate of some sort and pretzel bites. I wanted to try everything, it all looked so tasty. But I narrowed my food order down to boneless wings with Buffalo sauce. My buffalo wings were really good. It was chill enjoying my food and watching everyone have fun. I know we plan on heading back in August sometime when my son comes into town. Even in the winter, the heaters warm up each stall so much your hair is hot, but you might still need gloves. Went to Topgolf last night 1/18, and our experience was absolutely AMAZING. We first got seated at a high table at bay 212 but with us having a baby in a car seat it was seeming difficult to sit there. I asked the manager Nigel if there was anyway to get switched to a couch bay, he said it was very packed but he would try. A few mins later he came back and got another bay all set up for us. I couldn't be more impressed with the efficiency of getting our request taken care of. We moved to bay 226 that had a couch and we had the most amazing experience. The bay was beautifully cleaned and ready to go. We ordered the amazing Macaroni Bites which were superb and I got the Spiked Strawberry Lemonade, also amazing. Despite it starting to snow, the heaters kept us warm and cozy. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! We WILL be coming back! Everything was beyond expectations. read more

My boyfriend and I went at noon and it wasn't busy at all and it took forever to even get waters and then when we ordered the Cobb salad it took 30 minutes and by that time our session had run out and we had paid for everything. I have visited again since their soft opening and had a different experience. This time it was near impossible for us to get a reservation so we opted to hop on the waitlist. We were notified that they were ready for us so we checked in at the front and then were told we needed to wait some more. When our bay was finally ready they just told us the number and sent us on our way, which wouldn't really have been a problem, but we needed help getting our Jr player set up with clubs. We tried to register him online ahead of time, but you need to complete the registration process for children in person. It took a while before we got someone to come over and help us get set up. The gameplay felt different from other Topgolf locations I've been to. I think there might be an issue with the tracer, because we would frequently see the real ball's trajectory not match what was shown on the screen. It was a little frustrating because the difference was noticeable. It also feels like they are really understaffed, especially for how busy they seem to be. read more

If it weren't for my small kids who wanted to golf, we would have left the second we walked in. The service is awful. They are rude from the time you walk in. The management is just as bad as the front receptionist. I would go into detail, but I have no energy after dealing with this place. I have been to many top golf's in other locations, and this is so far from what we have experienced prior. It's very disappointing. If you are to golf here I would wait until it's your time to golf and not spend a second longer in that facility. For a first time visit, I'd say their customer service was lacking. I booked online, confirmed and registered all guests online and when we got there, we were treated like we should know the drill. I told the girl at the front desk we'd never been, but because I had done a lot of the "pre-work" online, they treated us like we knew where our "bay" was and what to expect. WRONG! We, luckily, found where we were supposed to be. There were four of us, all first-timers. No one was there to explain how to play, the different games, or how to order drinks and food. So we just guessed and found some games that turn out to be ok. It was a cold day, but the overhead heaters and heated couches were great! And when the clouds cleared, there was a beautiful view of the mountains! Our server was very nice and made great recommendations. But there is no way to call for service and there were long periods of time when we would have ordered more drinks but our server wasn't around and no other employee seem even remotely interested in helping us. The drinks we ordered were draft beers. Can't go wrong with those. The food we ordered was ok. The nachos with steak were the stand out. Looks small, but we're very good. Everything else (pretzel bites, pepperoni flatbread, and meatalian flatbread) was just okay. The pretzel bites are surprisingly similar to those I've gotten MANY times at the big Albertsons up the road. Over all the food is probably not worth the price, but what other options do you have?? Fun for a date night or for a get together with friends. I'd say plan on eating elsewhere though. Stick with drinks, but be aware it could be a long wait in between if you want more than one. And look online for tips about playing. Because their employees do not seem to be there to help at all. But will gladly put in food and drink orders for you. read more

I made reservations online and had to pay a deposit, however, it was around $250 for four people to play top golf and order a few of the food items off the menu. I feel like that is a bit spendy for two hours out. I have fun at top golf but I feel it is a bit overpriced. The bar service is sent the bar was amazing but the service from the server that we had outside was durable. The dude disappeared for a good hour without ever asking us if you want more drinks or anything. A lot of lost revenue due to this. Topgolf provided a fantastic afternoon of fun, great food, and incredible service. Our food arrived quickly, the service was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. The only complaint I left with was that, we wish the heaters were a little more powerful, as playing outside can get cold if the wind is blowing. We ordered the party platter, which came with chips & salsa, pretzel bites, mac & cheese bites, and mini chicken sandwiches. It was delicious and there was a lot of food for the price we paid. The servers never let our waters get empty and checked in with us multiple times within the hour. The music was upbeat and energizing, creating a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. The vibrant/neon lights on the targets made for a cool visual. Each bay had its own TV, a machine that you could play golfing games on, and lefty & righty golf clubs, making our experience smooth and very enjoyable. We played for an hour, and it was the perfect amount of time for our group of four. Overall, for the price and the experience, Topgolf is a must-try. I was hesitant to go to top golf based off the ratings, but was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The games are fun and easy to figure out. Even those who have no golf experience, had a great time. We ordered drinks and appetizers and we were happy with everything. I would give it 0 stars if I could. This place is a joke. My mom and I went in at 3pm today and sat in the bar/restaurant. Not at the bar but at a table. The bartender looked over at us numerous times. At least 5 servers looked over at us. And I believe a manager came in at one point and helped the bartender make drinks but never approached us. They weren't busy. We were the only two at a table and two guys at the bar. Four people eventually came in and sat at the bar. The bartender waited on them. We sat there for 15 minutes without one person saying anything to us. We finally got up and left. This is the second time this has happened. There won't be a third. Don't waste your time!! read more

1st time golf visitors to TopGolf. Friday morning for 2 hrs. IT WAS FUN! Despite some windy / rainy weather, we stayed warm and dry on the north end of the first floor. Please use their website to sign up and fill in the necessary information as it will expedite your experience. Recommend you bring your own clubs as we did. They have clubs available but are too stiff for this old duffer. Played some range games and then 9 holes at St. Andrews. LOTS of fun. Balls seem to go somewhat less distance than regular golf balls so don't be surprised. Also, it took us some time to adjust to 2nd deck golf balls dropping down in front of us. It is safe but the first ones dropping surprise you. Golf assistants are assigned to your bay and assist with set up and food service. They are always available for assistance and a pleasure to chat with. For winter, keep the heaters on and you will be warm and comfy. Lastly, after our golf we headed into the restaurant for lunch. WOW! A pleasant surprise as the food is quite good! Try their hamburgers and chicken burgers and I don't think you will be disappointed. We all agreed we that we would be more than happy just stopping by for lunch. Kudos to the chef and his team in the kitchen! Only reason we held off on the last start was due to experiencing some difficulty with several golf shots not recording during our play. Other than that it was a fun time for all. ENJOY! read more

I am following up on my prior review. I have increased it to 3 stars based upon the response from Topgolf International Inc, not Topgolf Boise. The headquarters researched my gift certificate and issued me a new one in two days. So I am happy with Topgolf International Inc. I am unsure whether it was a result of my direct contact with Topgolf online, or if the management in Boise also followed through. I suspect it was from my direct contact, as the response came attached to my original email online with Topgolf.com. And having had good experiences at the Las Vegas and Roseville venues, I do not want to demean Topgolf completely. read more

We are frequent Top Golf Participants and this previous visit was the worst. We barely saw our waitress, we could have walked to the gas station for beer by the time she came back. Lexi was not friendly, and when we went to look for her multiple times she was sitting talking with coworkers. I understand taking a break but her break was damn near our 150 minute play time. The only time we had positive, friendly service was when people that weren't her brought out our food. The food was yummy so that made this experience a tad bit better. During this entire experience our game modes were glitching out and weren't reading our hits. This place costs too much for basic functioning to not work successfully. Additionally, we paid for an extra half hour only for balls to not dispense for us. We had to walk out to the grass to get used balls. I honestly was hoping to get hit by a ball to not remember this experience. This was our go to place, but now I am seriously considering otherwise. read more

The injectable donut holes were fun. I noticed the game didn't always update the scores or number of balls used. Wasn't a big issue for our group. A nice way to bond with friends. I had to give this experience a 2 because of the food. I was at a company party on Saturday and hair was found in 3 different foods that were served to our party. It made me sick watching the guy next to me pull out a 5 inch hair out of his mouth after eating some beans. Then to watch another man have a 5inch hair hang in the air from dipping his desert into the chocolate sauce. The experience made me feel sick to my stomach all night. Had a great time here good service and fun atmosphere. The only issue I would say was the game was kinda glitchy - some people got less tries and some got more and sometimes a ball hit the edge of a bulls eye, the video version showed it a few feet off. Once I hit two areas that should have counted towards my score but I got 0 - so that sucked :-/ but will def be back to play. When you come for a first time don't play angry birds - it's too confusing. Play the top golf games they are way more fun. read more
