I'm really torn on how I want to review this place. They did a wonderful job on my lashes but I'm o fan of their customer service. I called last minute to cancel my fill appointment and I knew going in they have a policy of charging 50% of the service you were planing on getting. That's fine and I can completely get on board with this policy but when they charged me $95 for a $70 service that I didn't get I start to wonder. I contacted them immediately and they said oops we had you down for a different service. I said ok but you charged full price and I did call you ahead of time. Oops we'll go fix that. This time they charged me half price for the service that I wasn't getting at all and was their mistake for putting it in the computer wrong. So AGAIN I contacted them and I was ignored. So I got charged $47.50 when it should have been $35. Now to a lot of people this isn't a lot of money but to me $12.50 is a lot of money to just toss away. So basically while I like the work they did I doubt I'll go back. I'm not one for tossing money in the trash like that. read more

I got the "triple threat" which is a lamination, eyebrow tint, and wax, and I am very very very dis pleased with the results, it was very relaxing don't get me wrong, the place is cute. Do not go here!!! This place gave me an allergic reaction to their glue, that I have never had before at any other place. They use cheap glue from amazon and the girls aren't event trained, my eyelashes felt heavy and clumpy at the root. They performed on me when I had obvious signs of an allergic reaction (swollen eye lids, puss on my lash line and dry, flaky skin) and didn't even provide advise for how to treat it. I ended up getting my lashes removed from a more professional salon and now (2 weeks later) STILL have puffy irritated eyes. Not to mention that they damaged my natural lashes. Even though my eyes were still inflamed, i still went back and trusted them to service me. When my mom came to visit we wasted time to go to this salon to ask for a refund and even went through the trouble of bringing a doctors note. UPDATE: Two months later my eyes are still effected from the doings of this salon. I'm afraid I have a permanent allergy developed towards lash extensions. After calling the owner once again for a refund, she blackmailed me saying she wouldn't give me a refund unless I took down this review. I purchased their GROUPON, and im glad I did, because the girl who did my lashes did a great job at applying them. Even if you weren't able to buy the GROUPON, this place is fairly priced compared to others in Tucson. The only thing I wish I could change about my experience is to not have been left in the midst of my lashes being applied. It's quite the lengthy process, so keeping distractions at a minimum while getting treated would make my next experience more enjoyable. The lash salon looks clean and has a fun and diva-like vibe to it. Lala Lash provides professional service as well as quality lash extensions. I have had several different lash technicians for each of the times I have gotten a "re-touch" and every one has done a great job. Nicole did my lashes today and I absolutely love the turn out! You can choose how you want your lashes to look, and the technician will help you decide what will work best for your eye shape. There are multiple different options for length and how curly you want your lashes to look. I went here to get lashes for my sons wedding. I loved the end result!! I wanted natural looking full lashes and my aesthetician Nya listened to me and sent me home with exactly what I wanted. In the week after getting them I had two other cosmetic appointments and the aestheticians at those couldn't believe I had extensions on. One said they were the best she's ever seen! I went in for a facial today and it was great! I have had a few facials from other places and the products used at LaLa Lash is tied for my favorite. It didn't leave my skin feeling heavy afterwards. I really liked the fact the products are from another Arizona based company, I'm all for keeping things local (or in state). My esthetician was wonder and explained the product line well and informed me of other services I may enjoy after asking me what my routine was like. I've now got a list of services I'd like to try out and an explanation about each and time frames in which to get them redone. I'm definitely going again and dragging my friend along with me! 6/12/16 update. I got a full set of lashes and it was fantastic! Veronica, my lash stylist, had them on in just over an hour and they look great. I had thought that eyelash extensions were a bit frivolous, but I can say that this is something I'll want to keep up! I wake up looking ready to go for the day or I can add more makeup! I'm really enjoying them! Leslie was nice, but that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. I just had my lashes filled on Monday, and by Thursday they had all fallen out! Leslie scheduled me today (3 days after 1st appt), and when she was finished charged me another $45! This was after being charged $100 for a fill on Monday! Professional lashes should not fall out 3 days after you get them filled, and if they do, the professional and courteous thing to do is fix the problem and not charge your client. I had my lashes filled at 3 pm today and have noticed that lashes are starting to just fall off. I am from out of town, but I have been getting my lashes done for at least the past 6 years, and this has NEVER happened to me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here a couple of times to get my lashes done. A couple of days ago I had an appointment scheduled to get my lashes done. The day before my appointment I received a call from my good friend that she had tested positive for coronavirus. The store was close so the second they opened the next day I called and left a message because no one answered to let them know that I would not be coming into my appointment because I may have coronavirus. A couple hours later I received a charge to my credit card for $150 which is a full set of hybrid eyelashes and an email saying thank you for coming to your appointment today. I immediately called and again no one answered so I left a message saying that there was a mistake. They never got back to me so I called later and the owner, Tina, picked up and I explained to her the situation and she said that because I had not given 24 hours notice they do charge a fee which is fine but the fee is not a full set of eyelashes which is $150. She was extremely rude and disrespectful when talking to me over the phone. She began to interrogate me about an appointment that I had rescheduled because I had work and was saying "oh so you're going to work with coronavirus" and I had to explain to her that no I was scheduled for work but obviously I would not be going into work because I may have the virus. She then continued to interrogate me and was very unhelpful towards getting me my refund. I demanded a refund and she said she would call back with an update. This was two days ago and I have still not received any more information about my refund. I called today and was in contact with the receptionist in order to get my card off file and again the receptionist was very unhelpful and refused to take my card off the file. I am now in contact with my credit card and they will dispute the charge but I have still not heard anything back from the owner. This was very stressful and inconvenient and I wouldn't want anyone to go through the same problems. It seems like a very shady operation and I wanted to warn future clients. There are many other lash studios that are compliant and professional. read more

They really pay attention to detail and I love how they can always work around my schedule. Very nice people and very good atmosphere too. The online scheduling is also an easy tool to use. Ari has helped me find my perfect "style" and helps me change it up based on upcoming plans (e.g. typical work week vs. events). I started going there after being charged and insane amount at another place in Tucson for a full set. The prices are extremely reasonable and I love them every single time! The customer service is outstanding as well! The lash tech I see is Joy, she is amazing! I have sensitive skin and my eyes get irritated easily and whenever she put the eye pads on she asks if its bothering me or if she needs to adjust anything. She also goes over the length and type of lash i want before she starts (i don't really know the terms for everything) but I personally like a natural look but just making my lashes look fuller and she does it every time!! Just explain what you're looking for and you'll get it! If you need a new reliable lash place, this is the place to go!! read more

Made an appointment here two days before my wedding in October and was very happy with the results. I did my research before choosing LaLa Lash since this was my first time ever getting them. The price was reasonable, they had appointments available and the technicians were super friendly. I had my eyebrows threaded first and they looked great. The two hours of sitting there for the lashes were very long, but it gave me a chance to relax before all the wedding madness. Since I'm pretty low maintenance and like my money I knew this wouldn't be a consistent visit but I would definitely come back and also recommend their location. I've been getting my lashes done for the past few months from multiple places and have never gotten such bad service. After just three days of getting my fill done by Madison, 75% of my lashes on my left eye have came out. Never has this ever happened from any other place I've gotten my lashes filled in at. They usually get to this point after 3 weeks but not a weekend. When I went back to have my lashes consulted I was immediately treated poorly and given a completely different service than given my first time there. I was told by Madison that I would have to pay $40 to get them retouched which made absolutely no sense to me. She was trying to find any and every reason as to why my lashes didn't last and not once treated me as warmly as she did when she originally did the fill. I did notice before though that she did them much quicker than it usually takes to get a fill. They then told me that the moisturizer I use on my face is a problem (which I've been using all my life and has never caused a problem with my lashes). I then spoke to the owner on the phone who tried to scold me and tell me that she would give me a $10 discount on my next service and that giving out a free service would be taking money out of her stylists wallet. Not only did she talk to me as if I was a child, she then tried to engage in a petty argument with me after I told her I've never received a service like this from any other lash place in Tucson. I NEVER leave negative Yelp reviews and always try to give the benefit of the doubt and to be understanding but to come to LaLa Lash and be told by the owner that my experience doesn't matter is truly upsetting and hurtful. Not once did I beg for a free service I simply let them know that I was upset at the fact that I wasted so much money yet they treated me and talked to me as if i was begging to get them retouched. I left my class early and paid for an Uber just to be treated like a scammer. Also when my uber driver picked me up she stated that she has picked up several girls upset with their service or within 5 minutes of being dropped off because the customer service is horrible. I used to get my lashes filled in at Selah and they do a way better job with such great service and a more genuine vibe. Although they're a little more pricey, I would rather my money go to a business that actually cares about my experience. Update: I was never given the 'care card' that the owner told me I was supposed to receive and was 'educated' in a manner that was anything but professional. I have also been made aware that many other women of color were treated poorly here. 9/13/2016: Tina, the owner has since edited her comment to me to I guess sound more respectable and as if she didn't speak to me rudely on the phone last week. Also on my Facebook review she stated that there is a two day grace period to have lashes retouched. I got mine done Friday and would've went back Sunday but they were closed & that Monday was Labor Day, do you see my predicament and how that grace period was out of my control when I went back on Tuesday? Her staff didn't say one thing about a grace period when I was there. I was also made aware that the girls working at LaLa Lash aren't certified and teach each other their techniques, which completely makes sense to why my lashes never lasted. I was offered a free service for the inconvenience of the salon not being open and my tech Lina being late, and the $70 I was charged for "not showing up" even though I did not receive the service. I haven't gotten that refund, and had to open a dispute with my credit card company. I knew this would happen even though I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they would refund me. It has been 11 days since. If you want to make an appointment with this place, waste your time, gas, and money and experience the utmost disrespect (owner and techs unwilling to take responsibility and argue with their customers) then go ahead. I had an eyelash lift and tint done by ari last week. My original appointment was supposed to be a week before but when I arrived they told me they were out of the solution to do my lashes. I was confused because that was something they could have called me and told me about. The receptionist told me that when she tried to call me another woman answered who said "you have the wrong number" Which was weird because they called my correct number... I'm just thinking they must have accidentally dialed the wrong number and never tried again. Or entered the wrong area code all in all she didn't do her job thoroughly and should've taken it upon herself to call again and make sure she reached me. That was a little disappointing to me because I drove all the way there expecting my service. Other than that they rescheduled my appointment and I was able to get in within a week. When I finally had my appointment I loved it! I love my results of the lash lift and tint. I have naturally longer eyelashes so i think my results were fantastic, although if you don't have longer lashes you might not get the results you are looking for. So I suggest extensions. The girls at the salon seem knowledgeable so I would ask before receiving any service so you get what you desire! The salon was clean and played calming music during the service. The whole thing took maybe an hour. It was nice to be in and out and have the results I came for. I plan on coming back! My only advice is that the receptionist really makes sure that she does her job in reaching and notifying clients. It's your job, if you can't reach someone on voicemail... email them with the email they provide while booking their appointment. Don't go here unless you want to spend your money just to have all your lashes fall out the very next day. I got a FULL SET and not even 24 hours later I woke up to my right eye almost gone. When I called to get them fixed they were very nice about it, but when I got there, the girl seemed so miserable to help me. To get repaired it took almost 45 min for one eye, that just shows how many had fallen out in not even a day. After getting them fixed, again they looked great, but over the next couple of days they began to all fall out again, and now just 12 days after the repair, it looks like I haven't gotten a fill in over a month because they are so sparse, when in reality it's only been 14 days since the original full set. I've been getting my lashes done for over a year now and this has never happened to me. I decided to try la la lash because they were the only place that had an appointment during the time I was available, despite all of my friends discouraging me to go because their experiences had been bad. Unfortunately, they were right. I will never come here again, and i have advised all of my friends to take their money elsewhere. The two stars are only for the girls who were really nice over the phone about my repair, and the original girl who did my lashes who was very nice as well. I don't tend to do this, but this is the worst experience I've ever had getting my eyelashes done. The estheticians don't stop talking to each other. Most people come in and expect to relax. The owner came in one time mid the time I ACTUALLY fell asleep and was the loudest I've ever heard someone try to be, especially as an owner you should know better. Then she and the other girls started talking bad about an old employee? Do you not realize you have clients on your tables? And btw you aren't getting your eyelashes done in a private room. There are 6 other tables around you. The last place I went to was a private room with a comfy fancy reclining chair and she'd offer you blankets because she knows most people tend to nap with these kinds of things. They literally have you lay on like a table, bring a jacket and wear leggings. read more

I got a full set done by Veronica and they were wonderful. I went back for a fill 2 weeks later with Joy and I've never been more annoyed. Firstly my eyelashes look like shit. They were thin not full at all and she kept saying how my lashes already looked great and she hardly had to do anything. I felt like I paid 70$ to have my eyelashes brushed. It's only been less than a week and I have to get them done ASAP and they are falling out at twice the rate as they had before. I take extremely good care of my extensions because they are also expensive. I will not be returning to this place. I would have complained when I got them done but I was in a rush to get to work and she took me 15 minutes late and if you're not confrontational it's really awkward to be like hey I don't like how these look. read more
