    Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Gyro.

Food was excellent in taste! Partner and I had the chicken shawarma platter and a gyro. Great pricing with a local feel. Definitely recommend this place! Also quick and friendly service! Recommend the laziza malt beverages, green apple and the raspberry were refreshing.

I started eating before I took pictures, whoops. Food: absolutely amazing, best Mediterranean/Middle eastern food I've had in a very long time. Service: very fast, very friendly and pleasant. Ambience: lovely and quaint. Not loud, easily a choice to come back to.

Very good food. This is small restaurant/market on colonial. The people there were all very friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered the special of the day, stuffed chicken. It was a lot of food and would have been great to split with someone else. The Tzatziki sauce was so good, one of my favorites ever. The hummus and warm bread were also delicious and chicken and rice was tasty.

Cedar offers up stellar Middle Eastern fare like these beef kabobs, and beef shawarma wrap with a side of fries. so delish! the hummus is positively divine. what a great spot. so happy to have found it! At this restaurant you can also order online. It doubles as a grocery store, next time I'll try dessert!

Wonderful little Lebanese counter service style deli in a convenient location on Colonial, right next door to the Alafaya Public Library. The staff were so nice and friendly, instantly made the vibes feel so good. We got falafel sandwiches, hummus and tabouleh. Everything was great and tasted flavorful. The falafel was seasoned so well and had a nice texture. I do wish the sandwich had some more sauce in it but the flavor of the falafel helped to make up for it. The hummus was a delight. The tabouleh was fresh and not sour. They also had a collection of foreign sodas and we tried the Frutti Extra which tastes exactly like a sweet melon drink you could find at the soda tasting station at Epcot. Great experience overall. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, warm and delicious and there was a tiny Mediterranean market inside to peruse as one waits for the food. Price wasn't bad either. $8.79 for the falafel sandwich, $6.99 for the hummus and $5.49 for the tabouleh I believe.

Food was delicious as usual and very affordable. We ordered the lamb shank dinner for $19.99. You normally can't get a lamb shank for under $30 so to say I was pleased would be an understatement. The lamb was tender and flavorful, rice was cooked perfectly, and the hummus was so creamy and seasoned. Literally some of the best authentic food on the East side of Orlando. The restaurant is nothing special but it feels like home. The staff was excellent and made ordering easy and quick. They even have a grocery store located inside with staples from their homeland. This hidden gem is worth trying most definitely!

    Knafeh
    Michelle M.

Had a craving for Knafeh so I ordered it via doordash and it was delicious! The cheese was soft and fresh and the outside was crispy. It was room temp so I had to pop it in the microwave for a moment to warm it up, just a personal preference. They packaged the ashta syrup on the side so it doesn't get soggy, which was a thoughtful touch.

As someone that grew up surrounded by middle eastern food, everything here tasted like home. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I loved the lamb kapsi, and the fresh coffee was brewed to perfection. It was also my first time trying garlic yogurt and guava juice, which were both fantastic. Even though the shopping section doesn't look large, the selection is well-rounded and stocked full of surprises! I will be sure to keep at least one jar of the specialty grilling cheese and Arabic sausages for our weekend brunches going forward. The spices are cheap, and the variety was amazing! The indoor seating is limited, so it would be challenging to bring large groups here. But they do offer takeout services!

Favorite middle eastern place in Orlando. Love their beet hummus and falafel wraps. The chicken plate is my go to order.

If the sell ingredients? Like sage, sumac, tahini?

I have seen both Sumac, and Tahini there but I don't know about sage.

Service & Ordering Ordering started off fine, and one employee was genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff interactions were the opposite. The drink options are extremely limited -- mostly bottled items -- and what's pictured on the menu is not what you actually receive. Misleading Drink Advertising I paid over $3 for the branded Talkin' Tacos water shown on the menu. Instead, the employee handing out food dropped two tiny Pure Life bottles, one of the cheapest waters you can buy. My wife and I were shocked. This felt like false advertising and set the tone for the rest of the visit. Incorrect Order & Staff Attitude My food came out with sour cream, which is not listed as a topping for the item I ordered. I don't eat dairy, and when I pointed it out, the employee grabbed the tray, walked off, then came back and shoved it in front of me while insisting "this is what you selected." Completely unprofessional. The helpful employee stepped in and offered to remake it, but by then the experience was already ruined. Food Quality The food itself was bland and lacked flavor. My son barely ate his meal and said it wasn't good, which says a lot about the overall quality. Overall Value Between the misleading drink presentation, rude staff interaction, incorrect order, and mediocre food, Talkin' Tacos simply isn't worth the price. With better taco options nearby, I won't be returning to this location.

My friend's young daughter is trying to do vegan, and my friend has a tree nut allergy AND eats gluten-free, and they can accommodate ALL OF THAT! Yay! Pani Puri came assembled already and in a cute little wagon. Everything tasted amazing!! Tasted fresh-made with fresh ground spices & tasty ingredients. Great Brazilian Grill Experience -- Definitely Coming Back…read moreMy wife and I came here for the full churrasco lunch experience, and it was excellent. I would give the overall experience a 9/10 and five stars. There was a great variety of meats, including different cuts of steak and sausage, and the servers kept bringing fresh food directly to our table. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked nicely. The grilled pineapple was also very good and worked perfectly between the different meat selections. The salad bar had plenty of choices, including fresh vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, and other sides. We also enjoyed the bread, fries, and sauces served at the table. The dining room felt clean, comfortable, and upscale, but it was still relaxed. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We paid $92 for two people before tax and tip, which was a fair price for an unlimited Brazilian steakhouse lunch of this quality. Overall, this was a great experience. We left very full and satisfied. I will absolutely return and try it again.
