First time here. The display case is clean and well displayed. Donuts are tasty. My only concern was... my bill was $7.32. I handed over my debit card. The card processing system is separate from the register. This annoys me cuz there's a large margin of human error when entering the total sale into the card processing system. The clerk ran my card for 7.23, then asked for card a second time to run it for 9 cents! For this amount, the store should have owned up to the mistake and ate the cost. Besides, they're probably going to pay more than that to the card processor. The clerk wasn't speaking very clearly and a bit low. Could definitely work on his customer service skills. read more

Terrible management. I couldn't be more offended by herman the manager. He rudely and tactlessky danced around my questions. I intended on applying and it ended in a boycott. Do not spend your hard earned dollars here because to do so would be supporting communism. read more

I would say this is a "cute little donut shop"... but this place is huge! There is a TON of seating in here! They have tons of delicious donuts on display to tempt you. Service is quick and friendly. I've been here multiple times, but never "dined in". At 9:30 in the morning after the morning rush if expect this place to clean. Not the case for this visit. Tables needing to be wiped down and high chairs covered in donut leavings. There's two single stall restrooms and both are filthy. Neither restroom has a baby changing station, although there's plenty of room in each for one. The ladies restroom has a non functional paper towel dispenser; toilet bowl splattered with poop and a seat with pubic hairs on it. The mens restroom has a functional paper towel dispenser but looked as if it gets cleaned every few days. Filthy towel with urine, poop and pubic hairs. A sink that I think is supposed to be white and not have crust on it. Handrails that are covered with God only knows what. They are staffed with people who could care less about sanitation for their customers and for themselves. You could tell that the sink behind the counter was filthy and needed a good cleaning. not I will not be eating here again due to their lack of care for sanitation and cleanliness. read more

I have been to this location a couple of times, my last visit I was not happy. There sign for business states Mon-Sat 4am-6pm, Sunday 5am-5pm. I went on a Tuesday morning after 5am they were still closed, several workers were inside, nothing in the display cases! I stood outside for 10 minutes or so nobody acknowledged me standing there as the employees continued to roll donuts in from the truck parked on the side, I was very disappointed. I can understand being a little late to open, an hour and change late is not acceptable for a well known establishment. I like the company and services, but this particular morning was not good and sad because it is close to where I live. read more

Went to the Lamar's in Louisville Co. The raised glaceed tasted burnt. The cake doughnut with white frosting and shredded coconut had maple frosting. I think the employees were doing this on purpose. Two friends who went do different Lamar's the same day said the same thing happened to them. So sad they used to be great. read more

First time visiting a Lamar's location. The staff was very friendly, lots of delicious options, even though we didn't show up until 10am. It was the best old fashioned sour cream donut I've ever had. We had THE BEST SERVICE here this morning. I can't remember the young man's name, but my husband and son were in around 7 and he helped them. He was incredible with my son, and talked legos and starwars while helping him pick out donuts. We couldn't have been more impressed. Thank you! read more

I need a lot of donuts & coffee and fast for a last minute meeting, and the order form said the deadline was noon the day before big orders. I called the store at 6:30-7am and the manager never hesitated and assured me it wasn't able problem to fill my last minute order. When I got to the store, my donuts were ready and coffee hot! I have been coming here for months on Sunday. The Donuts are great and to prove it the lines are long. The last 3 or 4 weeks I have been out of here in 5 minutes or so, even with the line. Horrid experience all around. It's completely unacceptable to accept an order that was placed in ADVANCE and then not fill it, especially if placed well in advance of arrival. Even though the order wasn't ready, to make matters worse, and after waiting in line, the cashier wouldn't honor my request to at least fill my order now. Can't begin to explain how infuriating and embarrassing that is. This also caused me to be late for work. I had to send a co-worker to pick up the order instead since I was in meetings, which was an inconvenience for my co-worker as well. This has now happened MULTIPLE times. Haven't been here but my roomie brought back several of these. One was a basic glazed donut rolled in a coil. (Not sure what it's called). Best donut I've ever eaten in my life. Light and airy on the inside, crispy on outside and not too sweet! Four stars because the chocolate frosted cake donut was dry and boring. Worst customer service. When you try to call in your order in the morning, you are put on hold and they forget about you. Happened to me several times. The teenagers that work there are nice.
