I did a gel manicure here about 2 months ago. My nails are still brittle after that. So I went for a regular manicure to give my nails a break. After I said I just want a regular manicure, Lami made me feel very unwelcome. The guy who did the service was extremely rude and the polish came off the very same day. He was constantly hurting my hands and rushing the service. The customer service needs a lot of work. They constantly speak Vietnamese in front of customers which is completely rude and very unprofessional. There are bunch of nail places in this area so I don't think I will be going here again. My neighbor also told me that Lami was extremely unprofessional in resolving booking issue and mentioned terrible customer service too. The place looks clean but during services I have noticed many occasions where they can cross contaminate clients. read more

Have been coming here for over a year, have been very happy until today! Man that did my pedicure was very rude. Started out by speaking foreign language to other employees and laughing. Never asked me to put my feet in or out of water, just kept touching my foot. I finally said what is it that you want me to do?? Stopped to look at his cell. Very poor pedi, heals still rough. A friend told me about this place so I decided to come get my nails done they had a new procedure for gel nails called SNS that did not go under the lights and supposedly non toxic etc. I decided to give it a try , my nails cracked after less than one week. I came back they corrected the cracked nails and they cracked again!. I went back for a fill and they are refusing to do the same procedure obviously they are not skilled at this new process of doing nails that they advertise! Seriously the best pedicure I have had in a while. I don't get pedicures often. When I do, they are sometimes a little rough or the polish is a little smeared. I went to Lami on the recommendation of a friend and everything was downright perfect. I really hate leaving this review with only 2 stars but after the last two visits i had to. I have had a fill in and a pedicure the last two times with the same lady, there are only two people there most days and its always appointments first, so dont plan to just walk in. I am writing this review today because it hasn't even been two weeks since my last fill and three of my nails have totally lifted off. I dont know what type of acrylic they use, but it sucks. The pedicures arent that great either. They never scrub the feet enough and the day of my pedicure i can feel little rough spots- which i shouldn't have for someone who gets a pedicure every 3/4 weeks. They are very nice and the salon is clean but your nails will not last. And they're kind of pricey. For a regular fill and a pedicure (no gel) its 45 dollars. Save yourself the heartache and go somewhere else. read more

I had some time to kill, waiting for my husband, so I looked up a nail salon nearby that had good reviews on Yelp. I was in desperate need of a pedicure!! So I happened on this place! Initial impression, this place is very nice and very clean. The nail salon itself didn't stink of a nail salon. They also had nice tranquil music playing. So the entire environment is very relaxing. I know I was a walk-in, so I was ok with waiting. When I walked in, the lady closest to the door told me to pick my color. I waited about 10 minutes when another woman came up to me and asked me to sit on a pedicure station. We made small talk and she worked quickly and efficiently. When she finished, my toes were perfect. But I guess to save time, someone else worked on my manicure. The guy was really nice and gentle. I think he did a good job. Not sure that he normally works on nails though, because he did everything except polish my nails. He had someone else do that. I decided to use a different color for my mani. Maybe it was the color. Maybe it was the polish. It was going on pretty thick so they let me wait awhile to let it dry. Its been one day. My toes still look great. But the color is already all cracked and chipped. My actual nails are chipped on the edges too! How does that happen? I really wanted to like this place. Everyone was really nice. Prices were very fair. For the most part, it was a great experience. But my mani didn't last one day. So I had to give it less stars. Maybe I'll try it again and update my review. read more

After months of trying to find a good nail salon we discovered this place by pure accident. On one of our taco runs to Roberto's my Mom spotted Lami's nail salon. My Mom was so impressed of how clean the salon was and how friendly the staff was that we booked our appointments for a Gel Mani & Pedi. When we arrived to our appointment, Lami was waiting for us ready to go. She and her staff are courteous, funny and they do a great job! They use liners for the pedicures and immediately after they are done working on someone's nails they put the instruments to sanitize, cleanliness is the most important factor for me when I go to nail salon. The Gel Mani and Pedi was $55.00 which is pretty much the standard rate in the area. I would recommend that in the summer months that you go in the mornings, the sun tends to hit the nail salon in the afternoon. read more

Of the many places I have been to for pedicures and my nails, this place is a gem. Immaculately clean (which is my highest priority) and a friendly staff. This is one of those places that brings serenity to an otherwise chaotic day. Soft music and a large screen TV put the icing on this cake. Holly has been taking care of me since I first walked in the door. Her work is meticulous and she's a mind reader when it comes to choosing colors. The accompanying massage she gives with both manicures and pedicures is amazing. I've never seen anyone leave there unhappy with the service they received which tells me that all the staff are doing top of the line work. I love having my powdered nails and pedicures done at Lami's. I can always get a last minute appointment and I get compliments on my nails all the time. Teenagers always ask me who does nails. The salon is immaculate. The last time I was here the owner was training a new male manicurist who lied and said he had four years experience in Ohio. Worst customer service ever. I called on Monday to ask if my husband, myself and daughter could come for a mani/pedi. The lady said o no sorry too busy can we make it for another day. I said ok what about Wednesday. She said ok 3:30, I said yes that's perfect. We go in today for our 'scheduled' appt and they tell us we aren't in the appt book and we need to reschedule. What a lovely experience! Clean! I did not notice any nail dust on any of the fixtures or furniture. They use disposable tub liners and sanitize their nail tools after use. Relaxing!
