Polish on hand after the service

Service was fine staff were nice. Salon was older but that doesn't bug me. However I am extremely dissatisfied by the way my fill turned out. I read multiple reviews praising Diana and was upset to find this was the result of my acrylic fill. The nails are thick. The polish was very poorly applied. I am missing polish on the sides the French tip itself is sheer in some areas. There is smudged polish on the nail as well as on my skin left behind. When new acrylic was applied bubbles and my prior sets polish was left behind and was visible through the pink color applied to the nails. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed with my nails and will be getting them fixed asap.

I was referred here by my twin, Alicia R., who comes here for her pedicures. It's not on my side of town, but I'll definitely be back because: -the owners, John and Christine, are the nicest couple, welcoming and attentive -the massage chairs are fabulous! They even massage your backside--my usual place doesn't have chairs like that. -for $25 (plus tip), I got an hour-long pedi that included a citrus sugar scrub, hot towels, a foot/leg massage, and funny, interesting convo with John. This place is only about 6 months old, so come out and visit for some pampering. Calling for an appointment is recommended since it's just the two owners attending to your needs. I even convinced the b/f to have his first pedi and now he's a fan, too. Guys, you'll love it; as John, the owner, likes to say, "Don't worry about it!" *The business info is: 11115 S. Eastern Ave., #120, Henderson, NV 89052 702-675-3319--whatever is listed was changed from what I entered initially by someone else, not me. This is the CORRECT info for L Nails (not to be confused with LA Nails)***

I tried this shop today on a whim. I read some reviews that the owners were very nice so I decided to give it a try. I walked in and sat down immediately with John. He talked to me the entire time and was very sweet and funny! He did a great job on my nails too! It sounds like they book up pretty fast and I got lucky with my walk in appointment. I recommend calling in advance, but definitely try this shop. Much different then most of the nail shops I've been to where you feel like you're rushed and out of place. So, I have this buddy. Let's just say his name is Del C. His girlfriend booked pedicure appointments for both of them. Her hook...they have massaging chairs here. Her other hook...dinner will be right after. Del was open to a good massage, good dinner, and why not get his toenails taken care of at the same time. Del C was game and ended up getting his first pedi. The process is simple for a pedicure; 1. Walk in or book an appointment, which is recommended. 2. Sit in one of their massaging chairs where you have complete control (i.e. back, head, neck, fast, slow, etc). 3. Let John or Christine do their thing, which is clean your feet, toes, massage your calves, and pamper your toenails. This goes on for about an hour, but time does go quick because they manage to keep a conversation going with you. 4. Enjoy the loving banter between John and Christine. They are the best. 5. Leave with the freshest/cleanest toenails in town. Pretty simple process and the cost is only about $25 for the hour. Not sure if this is a great price since Del has never gotten a pedi before. Del plans on coming back because his experience was top notch. Yes, he's a fan. Overall, I was happy, I mean Del was happy with the pampering he just received. PS: FDTR (First Dude to Review)

I wouldn't recommend this place…read more I called ahead and asked if they accepted walk-ins. They said yes, so I came in. The woman at the front was nice and greeted me when I arrived. I asked for a pink and white pedicure and a full set, and they worked on my nails and toes at the same time. I'll start with the positive: the woman who did my toes was very sweet and genuinely nice. I didn't love how my toes turned out, and I had to ask her several times to fix things. After a while, I just gave up and accepted that they were going to look the way they looked. She was so kind, though, that I didn't want to make a bigger issue out of it. My experience with the woman doing my nails was completely different. She asked my name, I told her, and then asked hers. She told me "Mai." I thought, okay, I'll remember that. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly got on her phone for long periods of time while doing my nails. One of the worst parts was when she was sealing the glue around my nails. It was burning me badly, and she was distracted and on her phone. I actually have a video of this. When I told her it was hurting, her response was essentially that it was my fault because my nails were too thin. I haven't had my nails done in about two months, so I know that wasn't the issue being made out to be. There was also an issue with the shape of my nails. Instead of simply helping me understand what I needed to ask for, she seemed annoyed that I didn't use the right terminology from the beginning. I'm not a nail technician. I shouldn't have to know their specific nail jargon to get a basic shape done correctly. The way it was communicated came across as rude and cold rather than helpful. The entire appointment felt uncomfortable. I was polite throughout the whole process and repeatedly said thank you and that I appreciated her when things were going well. But whenever I tried to speak up about something I didn't like or that was hurting me, I felt like it was immediately dismissed or made into my fault. And then there was the weird situation with the names. The woman doing my nails initially told me her name was Mai. Throughout the appointment, she kept referring to the woman doing my toes as Mai as well. I didn't think much of it because Mai is a common name. At the end, she asked my name again and then explained that the woman doing my toes was Katherine and that she was Mai. I said, "Ohhh, okay," and she told me Katherine was her mother-in-law. Then, almost immediately afterward, she said, "My name Mai, her name Katherine." I looked at her confused and asked, "So she's Mai or you're Mai?" She then said that SHE was Katherine and the woman doing my toes was Mai. At that point, I honestly didn't even know what was going on. It's a small thing, but the whole interaction was strange and added to an already uncomfortable experience. I also noticed that the woman doing my nails seemed to be directing the woman doing my toes and repeatedly asking her to do things that I felt she should have been doing herself. Despite doing less of my service, I actually felt much more comfortable with the woman doing my toes. I spent $150 here, and unfortunately, I don't feel like I got $150 worth of work. My nails are crooked, the shape wasn't what I asked for, and I'm unhappy with how both my nails and toes turned out. More importantly, I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed during the service. I don't normally leave bad reviews. In fact, this is the first review I've ever left that wasn't positive. I don't like working against someone's business or livelihood, and I genuinely try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was bad. From the constant phone use, to being told the pain was my fault, to the attitude when I tried to explain what I wanted, to the final result, I left feeling like I had wasted my time and money. I would not go back, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Save your $150 and go somewhere you'll actually feel comfortable and appreciated. I would give zero stars if I could.

If he's unavailable, I'm always happy to book with Theresa or Anna. Everyone here is incredibly talented, friendly, and welcoming. I usually get the Royal Pedicure ($95 with gel) or the Detox Pedicure ($115 with gel) whenever I'm in the mood for a longer, more relaxing massage. A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Whenever I need a last-minute appointment, I just give them a quick call, and they're usually able to fit me in. The owners are also incredibly kind and generous. They frequently host giveaways and special events to show appreciation for their customers, which makes the experience feel even more special. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. One thing that has always stood out to me is how genuinely caring the staff is. If I have an appointment that runs late into the evening, they make sure I get to my car safely before locking up for the night. The shopping center has never made me feel unsafe, but you can never be too careful. That extra level of thoughtfulness and care is just one more reason why I've continued coming here for years.
