    Oatmilk Lan Latte
    Emily A.

Stopped by Lamppost Coffee on Main Street and enjoyed a smooth oatmilk iced latte with an extra shot of espresso. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was one of the highlights of the visit. With the sun out, it was the perfect drink to enjoy. While the service was average, the quality of the coffee and the welcoming vibe made it a place I'd recommend and look forward to visiting again.

I didn't even realize this location existed, and I'm so glad I found it! It's in a cute area with plenty of seating. I've tried the Pumpkin Lamba and Mr. Rogers (their seasonal drinks), and both were so yummy. Service has been great overall. On my first visit, the barista was overly chatty with the customers ahead of me and didn't seem aware of the rest of us waiting in line, but every visit after that has been quick and friendly.

Very fast and friendly service! We stopped in to enjoy a coffee break while out shopping. I had the lavender latte which was well balanced. Definitely a great place to relax for a bit.

Lots and lots of seating, great service and excellent coffee. My favorite is the iced lamba latte with 50% sweetness. It's very creamy, rich, good amount of sweetness but still has that distinct delicious coffee taste. The coffee aroma is very unique and a pleasure to sip. Very brightly lit and spacious with modern interior. With the exception of just a couple of small cloth chairs most of the seating are black metal chairs so not that comfortable after sitting for a while. Definitely my go to coffee fix for round rock.

Great place! I met a friend of mine here this morning. What a cool location (downtown Round Rock), cool vibe inside and great coffee/ pastries. The gal that helped me was great! Told her it was my first time and she helped me pick out a coffee. I'd definitely come back here.

    $20 for a pour over?!?

Lamppost is a solid coffee spot. They clearly pride themselves on their high quality coffee beans, they even sell their beans, average cost $40 per bag. They offer a honey gesha pour over which I tried. It was very expensive, $20, and tbh it wasn't my thing. I learned I'm not into light roasts. The service is really chill and friendly. The ambiance is simple, I like that it's quiet so you can actually hold a conversation. They even have a separate room in the back where you can study or read.

Great coffee shop in downtown Round Rock. I ordered their iced Lamba Latte and requested for less syrup (2 pumps for a 16oz) and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. I also recommend their Avocado Toast, it was the perfect snack to have after my workout. I definitely recommend this place and I'm so glad it's close to home :)

Not only do I love being in Downtown Round Rock, my go to study spot is Lamppost coffee! Plenty of seating and outlets. Wi-fi is good! The service is always nice, AND they just got a new menu with food! A little bittersweet because I feel like they'll get busier, disrupting the peace I enjoy from a "quaint local coffee shop" but I totally think they deserve to be booming with business

Service and atmosphere was great. Ordered a matcha tea, which ultimately was a premix with some milk poured into it. It was very underwhelming, and I could only taste the milk. $8 for a cup of milk! Their coffee is usually okay, but I've learned my lesson on their cold drinks.

Great service! Delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches!! Highly recommend the simple toast and lamba latte. The ambience is relaxing and bright! Loved it!!

Tasty food and coffee. Suggest getting the lamba latte, it's their signature latte. Delicious!

It was like we were at a friends house Girls at the front are crushing it ! It made the whole experience feel more enjoyable going into a new space ,.. They had lots of options to pick from from coffees , teas , sweets and savory toasts We settled on a latte with a cream cheese strawberry danish And ube matcha and banana bread -matcha ;I agree with another review on the matcha Despite the bold beautiful color matcha is a whisper in the drink (I know they said it is ceremonial but the flavor was very muted) Ube was only thing I could taste n I like to try the matcha before and after mixing - latte although my gram would of liked it sweeter with more milk , its was enjoyable - Banana bread was soft n full of banana and best part no nuts (as an allergy girly it's nice to come across a banana bread with no nuts - danish ,... yes a must grab , beautiful ratio of cream cheese and strawberry Only downside didn't hear our name called or told where to pick up drinks when they were ready

Of all the coffee shops in the area, Instill is the place to go, get coffee & chill. Of course, I always get the ocean latte and my daughter got the strawberry matcha. We also ordered the Caprese Avocado Toast. Sooooo good! This place always has a great vibe to it. The staff are all nice and down to earth. Place is always clean and bright. It could get loud at times, so if you're going to need a place to study or work, bring some noise canceling headphones or just enjoy the vibe.

I've slowly become a "make my own espresso at home person", so I don't go out of my way for coffee…read moreas much as I did a few months ago. In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. I love the pastry selection. I love the service. The consistency I've experienced from location to location is top-notch. The cleanliness here is impeccable, too. That bears mentioning. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. Also, they seem to have a high standard for hiring. The staff is always great. Please tip generously ;)

Haraz The good:…read more Wonderful decor and ambiance, really spacious. Plenty of seating. Lots of sunlight. Tall ceilings. No annoying music, great for conversation. Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.
