This place is pretty awesome. It is actually an outlet and a distribution store. They have discounted items, but if you can't find something you like on the outlet floor they also have most of the regular Lamps Plus items at regular price. They have a large selection of discounted items and they are always getting more. My husband and I have been here several times and bought ceiling fans and chandeliers. The products are such good quality and the prices are 50% or more off the regular price. The other amazing thing about this store is that the staff are so helpful. I didn't expect employees at an outlet store to be so willing to go out of their way to help customers sift through discounted items. This is a clearance outlet, so what you see is what you get, as in "floor model". They do have new, brand new-in box, items in the warehouse (sometimes stocked) that you see online as well. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can order it. They also sell furniture fairly priced. I was fortunate enough to find my chandelier that I saw online, for more than half the price online, so I was extremely happy! Cons-there's no cellphone reception, so I wasn't able to send pictures to my husband for a 2 thumbs up. -Bathrooms are not located for customers, conveniently. However, I have always said that the true test of a company is how they handle a customer problem. In the past few months we ordered 3 more ceiling fixtures from Lamps Plus. Two are working fine, but the third developed an issue after less than 2 months of use. When I called and asked about a replacement, the representative put me on hold for quite a while and then came back and told me to call the manufacturer. I ordered a lamp shade on line and when it came realized it was the wrong size. I called the Lamps Plus Warehouse in Redlands and they said to bring it back to them. Went in today and I was immediately greeted by a sales associate and a man I assume was a manager both wearing masks (which I appreciated very much). They asked how they could help me and I explained why I was there. The manager sent me with the sales associate who he said was the "shade expert". I was in and out of that store with a lamp shade that fit in literally 5 minutes!! When I came out to the car my daughter said "what happened?". She assumed I couldn't make the exchange since I was back so quick. This was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had with a business!! The store manager and sales staff should be complimented on their professionalism, courtesy and just making it an all around great experience. We walked in on a whim and scored a beautiful mirrored console for a fraction of the original cost. We've been on the hunt for something similar but we didn't want to pay $900 plus. It did have a minor flaw but not very noticeable. We jumped at the price. (Good thing because a soon as we were in the process of checking out 3 other people wanted to buy the piece ) Paid less than $300 including tax. I have ordered from here several times and been extremely pleased with the product, but my latest experience has been horrific. I was trying to order a present for a surprise 50th wedding anniversary. When I could not find the product, I called and they said, sorry it is backordered. When they told me when it would be in and shipped, I said ship to the recipient because it is after the surprise 50th anniversary party. The next day I get an email it is coming this week, 3 weeks before the party. I have called twice to get shipment changed , only to get nasty comments and no help. Nice selection but I would say they are misleading. I picked out a pendant light that I saw with the price tag on it that was slashed down to $40. When I asked for another one they told me that second one it will cost you $160 (I mean who's going to buy just one pendant light? You're going to buy them in a set of 2 or 3 right?). But the price on the tag for $160 had a slash through it. This is very misleading and I will NEVER give them my business. read more

This place is a warehouse, they have quite a few different options available however, I found it to be unorganized and quite challenging to locate anything. It was terribly hot inside almost as bad as it was outside, I mentioned it to many of the employees especially since I saw large commercial fans in the building, they all just laughed it off. It was 107 degrees outside and over 90 degrees inside they did have their small ceiling fans on but, it was so unbearable I left. read more

The prices are good but you get what you paid for. Be careful! Before I spent almost $900.00 to buy 2 lights, Monica who is the outlet's "light specialist", assured me that the manufacturer only made one color, that I would be able to get "credit" toward other Lamps Plus purchase(s) and that she would be able to get better prices for me than anyone else. When I found out that the manufacturer made many other colors and tried to get credit toward another purchase of 2 Hubbardton Forge's lights, she quoted me a price that is $100 higher than other store and refused to match a price of LBC Lighting of Arcadia which is $634 each. I tried to buy 2! Do not buy from this outlet especially if you live almost 2 hours from this store like me. You will not be allowed to return for credit at your local store! If you choose to buy from this store especially from Monica, get every verbal promise/representation in writing or you will regret it like me! I was just contacted by the corporate office. This review is for both the distribution center and Lamps Plus on the whole. I ordered some outdoor lighting for my home and was super impressed with the quality. I needed some more of the same lights to match on out patio cover along with 2 ceiling fans. Ordered them and received very quickly. By accident, they failed to ship one of the fan motors. I didn't notice until the guys were ready to install. I called their customer service and they figured out what happened and sent me to their distribution center in Redlands. I got there, they gave one to me, and I was on my way. Kind of an inconvenience, but I was able to get the same day so it could be installed and I am happy with that! The level of customer service I have experienced from start to finish has been awesome. Bonnie helped me initially and Rosey helped me today and I just cannot express how impressed I am with how much they care. Thank you! read more

After reading the single review from a fellow from LA, I thought I must have gone to a different place. As I remember, there were lots of deals and I bought a chandelier that was priced (still) at their store for $250. I paid $99 and although the box was opened (who needs the box anyway) it's been a beautiful addition to my home for several years now. What I remember most is the beautiful 10 X 8 rug I saw. They were asking $199 but couldn't afford that much. I kicked myself wishing I had offered $99 since a salesman asked me what I would pay for it. I ordered an $89 lampshade from Lamps Plus.com. on 9-6-15. The shade has a unique starfish motif, so I agreed to pay the $23 shipping and handling. (It was sent Ground and took more than a week to arrive, even so) I called today to ask if I could exchange it for the next smaller size. The customer service rep told me I would need to do a separate transaction. OK, that happens sometimes. However, I then asked for a Return Authorization number, so that I could begin the return with my intent to order the correct size when my credit card was credited. She proceeded to tell me that I would need to AGAIN pay shipping for the return! I was astounded, as the web site mentions TWICE that FREE SHIPPING is offered. So let me think about this...I will pay shipping 3 times if I reorder the correct size? It won't happen! I have never purchased from this company before and I assure you, I never will again. This company acts as though they are doing me a favor by selling me an $89 lamp shade?? Epic customer service FAIL. read more
