I recently also got to enjoy the pork adobo for their meal of the day and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful my meal was. Every encounter I have had with a member of their staff has been nothing but humble and kind. Highly recommend this little gem of a place

The server was very nice. Cons: 1. They charge a 4% service fee for credit card payments so bring cash! 2. They don't have any lids for to-go orders. So they stuff the ice cream in a styrofoam cup and I guess you have to reconstruct your halo-halo at home if you get it to-go. We're coming back to try the food but we'll order ahead and bring cash if we allowed to pay with cash for a preorder.

They come 3 to an order for $5.95. They come out super fresh and steaming so let them cool down. The broth inside is delicious and really hit the spot. My husband ordered the pan fried pork dumpling. Also come 3 per order. We loved both and were happy with flavor, seasoning. Especially how fast the food came out. I would call this a small restaurant. The space is very casual with ample seating. On a Monday afternoon they were pretty busy so that tells me locals also really love this spot. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu.

To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I've tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. This is definitely a place I would return when I'm craving Chinese food.

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

This is like no other Asian Restaurant that you have been to. From the start, it has a quaint, cozy, and appealing atmosphere. Fresh Bubble Teas and fruit smoothies available at the walk-up window and at your table. The dishes have a wide range of variety from steak w/ noodles, batter fried calamari, and a perfect sushi roll selection. The service is genuine and courteous that makes you feel like a guest visit. The freshness and quality of the dishes shows the love, care and high standards that Chef Johnson Teh puts into his menu. Overall, this is one of the best kept secrets in Miami when it comes to quality, affordable and fresh food. EXTREMELY dissatisfied and will NOT be going there again! I came here earlier today and the service was not friendly. I ordered a Strawberry Black Tea. The server then said, "Do you want bubbles in the raspberry tea?" I then told her that I am allergic to raspberries and to make sure I was to receive strawberry tea. She seemed not to listen and made the tea. When she handed it to me she "claimed" it was strawberry. But now I am suffering from an allergic reaction. Will not be going there ever again and will not be recommending to anyone. My hope in leaving this review is that the owner will read this and instruct the employees to be more careful next time as someone could possibly die from an allergic reaction. read more

I went here after a horrible experience at another local Asia restaurant. This place is way underrated. The food was fantastic, prices were very reasonable. I had their lunch special lemon grass chicken, which comes with a bowl or rice, salad, and a California roll. I then had for desert one of their mango smoothies, it was refreshing and very tasty. I got delivery...um...gross gross gross and not at ALL authentic…read more I ordered the tempura and vegetable appetizer. What I received was an overly greasy, heavily battered bunch of veggies and 3 small shrimp. Okay. Japanese cuisine 101 lesson here. Tempura is specifically noted as different and separate from other fried food because of the light, airy, textured and crunchy texture in spite of the item being FRIED. How do they do that you may ask? It is with the combination of RICE flour and usually carbonated soda in the batter to make the tempura batter flaky when fried. You know those descriptions on sushi menus that say "topped with tempura flakes" and they are like rice-krispy in texture? YES. THAT is what proper tempura is. What I received was more akin to food you would find at the state fair; 1/4" thick batter, small amount of innards and 100% grease. For $16.80? waste of money. I CAN AND HAVE made better tempura. I also got the spicy tuna roll and the salmon maki roll. I like that the seaweed is on the outside, rather than the rice, which is traditional, so a person can appreciate the texture and contrast of biting into a (what should be) crisp nori wrapping and then sink one's teeth into the sushi rice, then the fish. As I raised the salmon maki roll to my mouth, all I could smell was rotting fish. I thought maybe it was just my imagination and tried to eat it anyway. NOPE! Tasted rotten! plus, the rice was hard, like pasta that had been boiling in water for only 2 minutes, and the roll was falling apart as I brought it to my mouth! It unraveled. The spicy tuna roll was the same disaster. My only positives, and why I am giving 2 rather than 1 star is that the miso soup tasted like miso that I wanted (although suuuper skimpy on the tofu with 3-4 tiny pieces, essentially no scallions, and maybe 2 small squares of seaweed) and I appreciated that the spicy tuna roll was actually spicy. MIAMI, COME ON!!!! What is with the asian food here??? SOOOO disappointed! Lesson learned. Will stick with Omakai happy hour and omakase. Anything else is just like flushing dollars down the toilet.

Unfortunately, during our last visit, the 2 fish dishes we ordered were under par. The salmon and Mahi-Mahi were both overcooked and meat was tough. On the positive side, the California rolls we ordered were fresh and well prepared.

The chicken was tasty, but somewhat rubbery and consistency, and the fried rice was moist, but bland. The portion was excellent, but it was overall somewhat average and not up to the standards that I am used to at better hibachi restaurants. The price was slightly lower than it is standard hibachi restaurant where it is served Teppanyaki style, but not enough to offset the loss of the entertainment and the additional food items and service that you receive. Overall, I found things pretty average. Having a $20 plus entrée served on a plastic plate with package plastic utensils just does not seem to scream out value to me. I thought everything was OK but I do not think this will be a place I will frequent.
