Chill spot to grab affordable and yummy sushi. The menu is extensive so there is definitely options for everyone. The raw fish is okay, I've tasted better, but u beatable for the price. The sushi rolls are very tasty (not pictured here) so definitely check that out. Will return to try some more rolls! read more

Located at Dadeland Station, this place makes my heart happy, as it is one of the few locations down here that has my taro snow boba !! That's what I usually go there for, but now this time I went to eat and have my boba! Let me start of with saying the broth of their wonton soup is really good. I wish they'd give you a little more wonton, but it's all good. Now the winner here for me is the Sakura roll. I love raw rolls, so if you do too, then this is the selection to make. It's a riceless roll, that comes with snow crab, avocado, cucumber and masago rolled in tuna and salmon! It's served with this yummy sriracha and citrus sauce. You won't need soy sauce and you'll definitely be full, as it is a big roll. Now the service is always consistent and pretty good. Obviously I'll be back, as the boba alone is an incentive. read more

Wow! A gem hidden, I've been a hundred times to this mall and seen this place but never had the curiosityof going in. Today however, I decided to grab a quick bite and let me tell you, I've been missing out! Place is nicely arranged and clean. The menu is a twist of Asian Food, Delicious. I got the lunch special, great price and the portions are satisfactory. Great place for a lunch break or a after Target Shopping bite. My lunch special brought Miso Soup, Salad, California Roll and I choose the Simple Vegetable Stir Fry with Beef (drooling) to finish I enjoyed the Thai Donuts and to take home, a Boba Taro. Lan Pan-Asian Cafe has been a favorite of ours for two decades. My husband, children and I have enjoyed dining at Lan consistently for the last 20 years. Some of our favorite dishes are the poke bowl, red curry beef, and their extremely fresh sushi rolls. The Sakura Roll is our absolute favorite, with fresh crabmeat and sashimi pieces on top. Their lunch special is always a great value as it brings a green salad, some fresh sprouts, and a California roll along side of a miso soup. The service at Lan is always on point. The staff has been working there for many years, and they treat each customer like family. Pro tip: There is plenty of parking under cover on the second , third, fourth, and fifth floors. They have a reward program that will accumulate points every time you visit that you can use towards a reduction of your bill. read more

I have been coming to Lan Pan for many years, but recently I have tried their tiger's eye specials and ube brownie special. Both incredible dishes, especially the brownie. One of the best brownies I've had, its a perfect mixture of gooeyness, crispness, and not too sweet and the ice cream sends it over the top! It's been a couple years since I've been to Lan, and I'm really impressed! The menu has evolved, but still features the same wonderful mix of Asian fusion dishes. We went for my Father in law's birthday, and everyone ordered a different item, ranging from a sushi appetizer to the chicken curry, a Korean-style rice pot, and I had the yellow curry noodles with shrimp and Chinese sausage. We finished off with coconut flan... the caramel was a bit too burned, but it was still a tasty treat. They've also updated the decor, with new tables and chairs, and a new seating plan. It's nice to see that LAN stays fresh and new, but still offers the same high quality selection. read more

I recently ordered take out through postmates (which charged a lot for service fee). I included some notes for the chef on 3 of the 5 items I ordered (Szechuan Eggplant, American Tuna Roll, Avocado Crunch Roll, Simple Vegetable Stir Fry, and Grilled Salmon appetizer). I have eaten here once before, don't remember what I ordered, but I do remember it being good. Now all that really matters is their bubble tea ventanita right on the side of the restaurant. A friend got me hooked and I can't wait to get my next one. I've worked 5 minutes away for almost two years and finally got around to trying Lan Pan. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend if you are looking for a quick, delicious, and affordable lunch option. I ordered the lunch special tamarind shrimp. The special comes with soup, salad, and a California roll to start. All for only $13.95. I asked for double salad because I'm not a big fan of soup. The ginger salad was big with the accompanying California roll. Then I was served a bowl of shrimp, and they did not skimp on the amount of shrimp even if it was a lunch portion. The shrimp was delicious! I wish it came with a side of a rice to mix in, but I'm sure you can always order a side of rice on the side. A lot of the lunch special options were proteins without side dishes. We sat down right away even though the restaurant was full. The restaurant has a modern design and was very comfortable. They get a gold star for service. It is very quick! My boss and I had a sit down lunch in less than an hour. If you only have an hour lunch break and work in the area, this is a great option instead of having to resort to fast food restaurants. I will definitely be back! read more

I've been MANY times because I love it (esp with lady friends for their great lunch deal); my husband isn't big on Asian cuisine. Friends made the reservation, and my husband was delighted with the restaurant/food. Service of the food was terrific, and the wait-staff was pleasant (and patient(!), as many friends came over to chat, making it difficult to pass). Listen, if you're from Miami, you need to know what Lan is. A dadeland staple restaurant that my husband's family has been going to for over 20 years. So many restaurants in Miami fail because they do not uphold to Lan's standard of providing high quality service and food. Lan is a no frills place- it's not where you go to be seen or show off your new fit. Go for the food, stay for the bubble tea. It's clean, the service is quick and friendly, and most importantly- it's consistent. Oh and did I mention the prices are SO reasonable (big win!) My go to's are their poke bowl, lan noodles, basil Thai chicken, and the salad. Dear lord the salad is a MUST have. Fun fact, they sell the dressing to go. Make sure you grab a bottle and take it home with you. The bubble tea hits the spot. I recommend the taro snow with bubbles. It'll be sweet, delicious, and you'll thank me. So if you're looking for a no frills, pan Asian place to feel satiated and satisfied- look no further. Dine in or take out, you will be happy! read more

It's been a while since I've eaten here. I used to come years ago to the bubble tea window, at the time it was one of few places in Miami you could find bubble tea. The food is very fresh, and the service is excellent. Very attentive to the point that you will not have a single piece of trash on your table while dinning. I've had a variety of the sushi rolls and they have all been great. Their best deal is the lunch specials. You have a good selection of dishes ranging from sushi to salmon, shrimp and even dumplings and everything comes with soup, salad and 4 pieces of California rolls. For dinner must try the shrimp green curry... jumbo shrimp in the most delicious lightly spicy sauce. Of course have the bubble tea! They have a lot of flavor options and combinations. I have also ordered through their delivery service on the website and everything was great. read more

The secret to its longevity is consistent quality, great value, delicious food and superb service. I think the best time to eat at Lan is for lunch. The lunch specials come with a miso soup, California roll, salad, kimchi and entree. All this for approximately ten to twelve dollars. The year was 2013. A friend from college suggested we meet up at this place, and thus, I went to meet her. We had a great time, the food was fabulous, and I even got to take home some leftovers that my mother ate and I was angry over. Grrr, I really wanted those leftover chicken flat noodles. Years have passed. We are now in 2017. I remembered this place and wanted to eat the deliciousness that was engraved in my memory. Boyfriend and I went, hand in hand, this past Saturday and I have to say that the actual food did not compare to the food of my memories. Honestly, if it weren't for the boba tea, this restaurant would get two stars for mere lack of flavor. A true disappointment! Now, don't get me wrong. Parking is ample and service was superb. We never had to flag down a waitress and the prices for the amount of food you get are very economical. Unfortunately, at least for me, the food was just edible. The truth is I have had a lot better, and yes, that is without thinking about how great everything was years ago. My boyfriend ordered one of the lunch specials. It brought a miso soup, a salad, a California roll, as well as his red curry beef. Meanwhile, I ordered the chicken flat noodles that I had years ago and that came with a miso soup and a salad. I felt the miso soup was okay, if a bit lacking in ingredients. It mostly was broth. The salad in comparison was plentiful and all the vegetables were fresh. I did not like the dressing though. In terms of the chicken flat noodles, they tasted well enough. I just felt it was missing something, but I cannot put my finger on what. Maybe a spice? At any rate, the food was fine, but nothing to rave over. We finished our meal with a couple of boba teas. My boyfriend had a chocolate one with a jasmine tea base, while I had a strawberry one with a jasmine tea base and I believe some strawberry jelly as well. The boba tea was amazing. I cannot speak for my boyfriend's meal, but mine left a lot to be desired. It wasn't bad, I just felt it wasn't good. It was pretty meh. Needless to say, I won't be rushing to go back, but if I'm in the area, I may stop by. Probably just to get some tea though. read more

I have been coming here for so many years. It's not a typical Asian restaurant. The menu is all mixed with Korean, Japanese, and some fusion dishes. This place is always busy with many different kinds of people but unfortunately you really don't see many Asians eating here. The place is clean and the service is good. Food? I usually get some sushi and they are not bad but definitely not the best. I don't like to see the stick of imitation crab on the rice as "sushi". Tuna tastes a bit frozen and not much flavor. Salmon was good. I never tried the bubble tea here but the green tea doesn't taste good. More like a plain hot water. Maybe next time, I should try some Thai dishes or something like that. The atmosphere is great for a lunch or casual dinner, helpful and friendly greetings once you enter the place. The food was great! I tried the Caliente Roll, it melts in your mouth with a burst of citrus in every bite, a must try! We spent about $64 for three of use to eat a lite lunch... we will definitely be coming back for the food! The service.... ehhh! We seemed to be an after thought once we placed our order, our server had his eye on bigger tables (possibly seeing a bigger tip). We asked for a fork once we got our food, enjoyed our food and then when we asked for the check, we advised the server we didn't need the fork anymore. All in all it was a pleasant meal, the server was a little forgetful but the food is what will bring us back for a second try at the service. read more

THE BOMMMMBBBBBB I've been going here since middle school and am not in my mid twenties. They have the best blended lychee boba and have a separate outside window so you don't have to deal with the restaurant stuff. They have an awesome and SUPER affordable lunch deal and great dinner menu. So there is a boba tea little window on the side of the restaurant. Every time I go to target upstairs I go to the window and get a jasmine/green tea with extra boba and it's so yummy and refreshing. The guy at the window is so nice and helpful. It's a definite must try. I'm not sure if you can order food at that little window. read more

This is like no other Asian Restaurant that you have been to. From the start, it has a quaint, cozy, and appealing atmosphere. Fresh Bubble Teas and fruit smoothies available at the walk-up window and at your table. The dishes have a wide range of variety from steak w/ noodles, batter fried calamari, and a perfect sushi roll selection. The service is genuine and courteous that makes you feel like a guest visit. The freshness and quality of the dishes shows the love, care and high standards that Chef Johnson Teh puts into his menu. Overall, this is one of the best kept secrets in Miami when it comes to quality, affordable and fresh food. This restaurant could be in South Beach and give those high end places a run for their money. Those who know about this hidden gem frequent this beauty all the time. read more

EXTREMELY dissatisfied and will NOT be going there again! I came here earlier today and the service was not friendly. I ordered a Strawberry Black Tea. The server then said, "Do you want bubbles in the raspberry tea?" I then told her that I am allergic to raspberries and to make sure I was to receive strawberry tea. She seemed not to listen and made the tea. When she handed it to me she "claimed" it was strawberry. But now I am suffering from an allergic reaction. Will not be going there ever again and will not be recommending to anyone. My hope in leaving this review is that the owner will read this and instruct the employees to be more careful next time as someone could possibly die from an allergic reaction. read more

Lan Pan Asian Cafe brings lots of good memories, my brother recently passed away & this was one of his go to places: the Garlic Beef Tataki was his favorite; it's nice to come back with family & eat here where we have such fond memories. Honestly everything my family & I have tried has never disappointed actually we always try to get something on the menu we haven't tried before or wouldn't usually eat & we have been satisfied each time ! read more

I went here after a horrible experience at another local Asia restaurant. This place is way underrated. The food was fantastic, prices were very reasonable. I had their lunch special lemon grass chicken, which comes with a bowl or rice, salad, and a California roll. I then had for desert one of their mango smoothies, it was refreshing and very tasty. The place is not fancy, but it is always busy, and I will visit many, many times. read more

This is a fun place. They have a great selection of Asian inspired dishes. Their lunch specials are great. They come with Miso soup, salad, roll and your choice of entree. They have bubble teas, juices and a homemade lemon-lime ginger ale that is my favorite. Service so far has been great it can get quite busy. read more

I have never tried bubble tea before, now I am HOOKED! I love coming to Lan Pan, they have the best bubble tea (chai tea is my favorite). Eating inside is also an absolute favorite of mine when they have their lunch specials i get sooo much food for almost $9 :) Super happy they are conveniently close to me! read more

Best fusion-Asian restaurant in Miami. Red curry beef, bubble teas, homemade ginger ale are all great choices. Great pricing and even better selection. Nice shopping mall area. Location is small so sometimes there is a crowd grouped around the front door but this just shows how good this place is. read more

We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

The chicken was tasty, but somewhat rubbery and consistency, and the fried rice was moist, but bland. The portion was excellent, but it was overall somewhat average and not up to the standards that I am used to at better hibachi restaurants. The price was slightly lower than it is standard hibachi restaurant where it is served Teppanyaki style, but not enough to offset the loss of the entertainment and the additional food items and service that you receive. Overall, I found things pretty average. Having a $20 plus entrée served on a plastic plate with package plastic utensils just does not seem to scream out value to me.
