Those are addicting. :) Fast forward to summer 2020. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. People and businesses are suffering and our numbers in Kansas are beginning to rise. In the interest of protecting public health, on July 2nd Governor Kelly and the Johnson County Commissioners voted to make wearing masks indoors mandatory. On August 1, 2020, I stopped in to pick up a bottle of wine. The sales associate was not wearing a mask. She greeted me and I asked her, "do you not wear masks here?" She answered, "no." I said, "ok", and I immediately left the store. I called the business, and informed the sales associate that by not wearing masks the were in violation of executive order #20-52, and that I would report it to the designated hotline for violations of that order. The sales associate said, "ok," and the conversation ended. Ten minutes later, I get a call from a number I do not know and have never called. A man asked me if I had called his store and his associate. I said I had and he identified himself as the owner and asked what I had said. I explained the gist of the conversation I had with the associate. He then proceeds to berate me and say it's none of my "f**king business." Yelling, he continues and says, "I have a mandate for you: go f**k yourself, and don't ever come back to my store again." This business shows up on Yelp under their company name that handles their liquor license, DRINKALOT L.L.C. but the store name is Top Cellars Select.

On that note, I was in here on a Friday once and some Boulevard reps were sampling something which I ended up purchasing -- haven't seen that since, but my feedback would be more of that! Makes it so easy to decide in a sea of craft beers and wines. They have a huge wine selection here, including some of the trendier styles and natural wines. Also for the NA drinkers they have both a wide selection of NA beers and they recently started carrying a small selection of THC drinks. Folks are always friendly enough here, and I find the whole experience to be convenient and quick. Definitely a nicer liquor store compared to many!

This is the third time we've gone there where they say they should be open but it's closed early without any signage as to why. It was only 8:15pm and they were supposed to be open until 11:00pm. There's definitely other liquor stores to go to nearby, so if it's past 7, I recommend going elsewhere just in case!

They have the best selection in town and their prices are lower than Walmart or any other liquor store. I'm a fan of the brand in general. We had them in Las Vegas, where we lived for 12 years. If you buy enough booze, you can get into the Grand Reserve Club where you can get access to allocated bottles and other cool perks, such as free classes with distillers and vintners.
