The marbled rye was toasted to perfection, crisp enough to have a good tooth to it but not too much to scratch the roof of your mouth. The house salad was an extra $3 but it is a really good size and was very fresh with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and onions. This is an airport location, so expectations shouldn't be high. The server was very welcoming and kind: she (and the other employees) are the best things about the experience. You order everything via a QR code on your table, so you don't actually need to interact with a server, so I appreciated that she came over to check frequently. The food is overpriced -- $15 for a very low quality quesadilla, $4 for a soda. The quesadilla was the quality I'd quickly make at home with leftover chicken breast and bagged cheddar cheese. I really like Land Grant on a relaxing, sunny day! The patio is huge and the beers are always solid. It's fun when you get to pop in during one of their events (like the strawberry fest!), but any time is a good time. Service is always consistently friendly, too. Prices are on par with most other local breweries. Parking isn't bad - I mostly opt for paid parking a couple blocks away. It's not in the best neighborhood so I don't think I'd want to walk alone, but it's fine during the day. I don't drink much anymore, but I appreciate the fun atmosphere of LG. Balloonhands is their strawberry tart beer, not noticeably strawberryish but a bit of sweetness and a lot of tartness. Very enjoyable. The pretzels were big, soft, and fresh, and the beer cheese was pretty good. Actually, the food was surprisingly good, for airport food, and even for pretzels and cheese in general. Surprisingly good food for an airport! You have to order on a QR code, but there is also someone waiting on you who is happy to help. We had some technical errors, but they were resolved pretty quickly. The prices are, as expected, quite high, but the food quality is pretty solid. We got sandwiches and flatbreads, all of which came out quickly. The size and the price aren't quite even, and the only free thing is a cup of water, but, again, it's an airport. Our server was very kind and kept an eye on us in case we needed anything. It's one of the few sit down places here, so that's an added bonus. read more

Plenty of seating while waiting for my flight. There are seats at the bar, high top tables, and small bench style seating. There is a QRC code on the table that brings up the menus. I had a cocktail not a beer so I cannot speak of their beer . The stools through the place are HORRIBLE- extremely hard to sit on , too heavy to move , the back is a strip of metal . It's like sitting on concrete. They have an odd height - if you try to put your feet onto the ledge built into the bar, you are forever to sit pretty much on the front edge of the stool . If you try to sit normally, the round stool edge is jabbing you in the back of the thigh. I'm 5'10" . I couldn't imagine if you were shorter as I was uncomfortable. I don't think whoever set up those location tried the seating . Extremely uncomfortable. I guess they want you to buy your beer, chug it and go . It's not comfortable enough for a second drink . The good news is that they let me sit on one of their stools. The restaurant was clean. I liked the promptness of their service with their order-on-phone qr. I understand that taste is subjective and somebody probably poured their heart into making their namesake lager, but it is a truly terrible tasting beer. The wrong side of skunky and sour. No chance I would have a third sip. One sip for a first impression then second sip to confirm how awful it really was. It almost tasted like somebody had collected the half drank beers from the night and days before, poured them in a bucket then scooped out out for me, adding a little carbonation to make it seem "fresh." The "food" was no better. The chip plate, which I expected to be somewhat nacho-esque, were so sweet and salty I lost track of my tastebuds. Image a bag of vending machine chips (bbq flavor) poured on a wax paper food tray liner with huge globs of ultra sweet bbq sauce on it. The green onions supplied a nice color and the triple-tip squirt bottle of mayonnaise dressed this beautifully. All told, $25 for two sips of beer and 3-5 chips. After the light palate torture I couldn't force any more into my mouth. The server seemed nice, but never asked about my experience. We arrived at the airport in a rush with little time to spare. First place we stopped at, the bartender and her friend were griping about something to each other and wouldn't look at us. Went in full on hurry mode while being incredibly cheerful. Up sold us a couple of bottles of "ice cold water" but it felt completely like she was doing it with us in mind! We were going to split a quick beer while we waited which she poured in two glasses for us without us even asking for it. She was off the chart fantastic with every person in there and she was taking care of quite a few people. If you have more than 30-40 minutes before your flight boards, this is a good place to stop for something to eat or drink. I had a couple hours to kill so I grabbed a table here and worked on my laptop while I ate. The service was good - very friendly, though not that fast. I wanted to order the reuben at first, but they told me they were out, so I got the bowl of chili instead. The chili was really tasty. It came with a side of Fritos chips, which I thought was kind of weird, even though they taste kinda good. Been here twice now for a drink before my flights. Pretty good place to grab a quick drink. Not a fan of the ordering and paying on the QRC code though. I would prefer to order and pay the normal way. Great wine choices. Even the option to Oder a drink to go so you don't actually have to sit there with your drink if you don't want. Nope. Nope and nope. Ordered the roast beef melt - wished I hadn't. It's literally five slices of grocery store sliced roast beef microwaved with some cheese and onions. The outside of the meat (hanging outside the bun) was solid- as in rock solid - and the inside was soooo hot it could match the Sun's heat. Ouch! Not much taste. Came with kettle chips....thankfully, or else I wouldn't have had any food to go with my beer. Three slices of sandwich pickles, too! Yay!! Now for the beer.
