One of the best Italian pork stores in the area, their mozzarella cheese, pinwheel sausage, roasted peppers and pretty much anything I've bought from Landi's has been delicious. Landi's is incompetent. Son ordered a 15 pound turkey . He called several times before pick-up. When he arrived to pick-up they grond 15 pounds of turkey instead of a 15 pound fresh turkey. then they asked him if if still wanted 15 pounds of ground turkey. Idiots ! Ruined his dinner party. This Pork Store is the real deal. Absolutely one of the best selections of meat, fresh prepared foods, cold-cuts and pasta specialities. While its getting harder and harder to find authentic,old-school pork stores, Landi's keeps you satisfied and full of nostalgia when you leave. WOW! I received a package of food from Landi's as a gift from my mother. She wanted to help me relax on my days off by not having to cook. I was first impressed by the meticulous packaging each item received. I'm not sure how much shipping and handling is but it's got to be worth it. Then then tasting... The ravioli served with vodka sauce-was addictive. Each taste I took created an urge to have another and another until the entire box was finished between the two of us. We had the lasagna next-I wholly commend the precise proportion of each ingredient that makes lasagna so popular. Cheeses, meat, sauce and pasta. There wasn't one bite that had too much or too little of anything. Oh, the rice balls? I didn't know what to expect. After I bit into several, I expect I'll be eating these all the time. My wife ordered a fresh 15lb turkey from Landi's 2 weeks ago for our "early Thanksgiving." We made the pickup date extremely clear, calling two more times to confirm. Today when she went to pick it up, they said "It didn't come on the truck yesterday, come back at 3." When she called at 3, they said "oh, they sent us 15 pounds of ground turkey, you want that?" Bottom line, this place is run by morons who clearly care 0% about customer service. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I am very disappointed. I bought a Groupon to use at Landi's and drove there earlier today. By the time I got out of work and made it through the Flatbush Ave. traffic I arrived at 5:45pm. Even though the store was still open, all of their meats and fresh foods were being wrapped up and put away. When I asked one of the men behind the counter why everything was put away he replied that they clean up early. When I asked how the customers that were still in the store, including myself, were supposed to know what they had, he laughed. He turned to a group of men behind the counter with him, whispered to them, and they laughed to. He turned back to me and shrugged. When I spoke to the cashier she was apologetic and went to speak to the manager, but he never came out to speak to me. This is no way to treat a customer. Recently I ordered sausages after finding you on the net and this is our second order and cannot wait to taste these wonderful products from Landi's and I can assure you it will not be my last order. I lived in Brooklyn back at the age of 5 until I was married and I tell you this brings back so many memories of Mom's cooking. Living down in the south you cannot find products like this. I keep telling all my friends down here you just have to experience them. i ordered 6 dozen rice balls and an assortment of sausages. they arrived in top condition promptly. the broccoli rabe and parsley cheese sausages were excellent! the only problem that i had was with the rice balls, i have 6 children and the products were delivered at 2 pm. the kids unpacked the shipment right away and put it in the freezer. i got home from work at 8 pm and was looking forward to eating some rice balls. but my kids and thier friends had all 6 dozen of them eaten by 3 pm! they raved about how good they were and they want me to order some more. i will order more but i will have them secretly shipped next door. the next time i am in SI visiting my mother i will stop-in in person ALONE! best products ever! read more

greetings from the desert!!! we just recieved out first order from landi's and it was awesome. we could'nt help ourselves and had a little bit of everything. the antipasti was delish!! the stuffed eggplant just sooo cheesy and great. the mozzerella knots just awesome. we can't wait to dive into the rest. the service we recieved was fantastic and the shipping was a concern (being that it's a lovely 109 here). the sausages and other things arrived still FROZEN we were sooo pleased. great job on the shipping!!! we will most definately be ordering again and telling our friends.best regards the foxs' (phoenix) read more
