    Our ridiculous check!

What a waste of money! We had a very simple breakfast and when we got the bill you would have thought we had lobster omelets! The food was okay but nothing fantastic... basic diner fare. The fruit cup was small and not fresh. For over $6 you would think you would at least get fresh fruit instead it was canned mush and every piece tasted the same as the last...blah. I understand the times and we're all paying a little extra but $12 for 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties with no home fries? We won't be back! On the plus side the staff was very nice. Minus - no military discount.

Over priced for the quality of food and service. Eggs tasted like soap and the pancakes were very thin. Will not eat there again.

Riverview Restaurant - THE BEST baked meat ravioli (5/5; highly recommend) would definitely come back just for this.

The prime rib was great, I'm just not a big meat eater so a side of Angel hair pasta would be amazing (they only have spaghetti or penne). The salad bar was pretty nice, I do wish there was more than one soup option. I wanted to try the shrimp Jammie Dinner but was told that was no longer on the menu. Next time - I definitely want to try their shrimp stuffed shell. Service was mediocre and ambiance was pretty cozy! Will definitely return for the food!

High energy, friendly, and knows everything on this menu which has like a hundred items. Fantastic personality. I stepped into 1975. There is a salad bar with a sneeze guard. There was soup and salad. Fresh. I didn't have the soup but my friend said it was ok. But know what happened, people on line at the salad bar talked to eachother. So now you know, it's Friday night and the place is packed. Energy high, people having fun and cross table conversation. It's not a dinner, but the menu reminds me of one. Food is better than a diner and seems made here. But there is so much I'm not sure how it all could be. Maybe because it's a small town, and they hire right, with good food. It's like cheers in here. It might not be a Michelin star resturant but I have never had a complete stranger at a Michelin star resturant hand out with me at the salad bar and discuss which homemade bread might be better. Now one thing interesting. Two tables over someone brought their own bottle of pepsi and has their iPhone propped up watching TV without headsets. I can hear it. It's not quiet here, but this is out of place and out of line. But not the resturant fault. The staff hasn't stopped, and they are not shorted handed. There is an insane amount of staff on. Both front and back of the house. Side notes. The table next to me got the veal parm, it looked fantastic. He didn't finish half of it, the serving was huge. There is a fresh lobster tank I hope you come experience it here. The locals will probably mad but you'll thank me.

The chips and salsa were good. The tacos were very authentic. I actually will be back they were excellent. I did not care for the atmosphere. It was very cold and lacked any dining experience. The service is very friendly and attentive, but not too in your meal. I liked to see that the menu was pretty concentrated, not trying to be too many things. I got some wings, a barbacoa burrito, and a singular fish taco. For the wings I got them naked with ginger orange sauce. They were hot, crispy, and you could get the orange flavor. Not so much on the ginger, but you could see the ginger in the sauce on the plate. The fish taco, I was told, is one of their most popular dishes, and I can taste why. The vegetables and squirt of lemon went a long way in having this taste fresh and vibrant, while the sauce and fish were not heavy and allowed for an easy eating taco. The burrito, what a burrito it was. Since the tortilla reminded me of a crispy pizza crust, and they serve pizzas here, I imagine this got finished off in the pizza oven. The filling was all balanced, between the meat, rice, and cheese, while the crisp tortilla gave it a crunch. I was also really impressed with the prices here, super reasonable and that's before the military discount. I'll definitely be trying this place again.
