Went on a Wednesday.. Jackie was our server she was great and on top of things! We had so much food *one thing to remember some sides come in two ex. You get two biscuits and two muffins when picking them as a side. Food was delicious! Ambiance was definitely Old Time! It's cozy and inviting We will definitely be back if in the area again!

Wonderful place I visit every time I am in town. As a matter of fact I leave extra time in my schedule just to be able to go to Olde Tymes. The service is attentive. The food is great. What more could you ask for. It's got a great and comfy vibe too.

Was able to get in and get seated quickly. My waitress was very patient and kind. Food was yummy! Over medium eggs were over medium so i could dip my toast in them. The grilled blueberry muffin was tasty! All went well with the carafe of coffee.

Food was good, not great. We prefer our omelet fluffier and less over done. My pet peeve is hearing staff complain about customers .. save that for the break from room. That happened twice. Overall we'd stop again if in the area

My hearty breakfast and I loved that I can refill my own coffee cup.

The parking lot was full, so I knew it was busy. Upon entering they have souvenirs for sale. (Cool trinkets.) We actually waited less than 5 minutes. Waiting to be served took longer, not the waitress fault. She was running around a lot. Both host and waitress are welcoming. I liked that I can refill my coffee myself. Breakfast was overall good. I like their decor, it's charming and non conforming. You'll see what I mean when you visit.

GOAT breakfast/ brunch spot. A must stop & enjoy meal whenever I'm in the area. I'd rather eat here than any spot at Mohegan Sun.

Great food, as far as diners go. Service was nice and fast. Ambiance was cute, just like the name of the restaurant would suggest.

Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: It was pretty quiet since it was a Sunday around 1:00pm so there weren't a lot of folks. Our guest was handicapped and in a wheelchair so they allowed us to sit in their sunken room which has access directly from the outside. There was a lot of natural light, light woods, exposed brick and an unfinished concrete floor which gave this place a real tavern and warming feel. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but I don't recall having any issues whatsoever. Food: I started off with their wings of course! We got their South Asian Beer Sauce which was pretty decent, but reminiscent of a sweet Thai chili. However, the wings were thickly-breaded and I'm not the biggest fan of that. They were cool, but I wouldn't spin the block for them. As a side I got the steamed broccoli which actually was really good! They were al-dente and not too hard or soft with plenty of seasoning. My wife enjoyed a salmon dish with Brussels sprouts and asparagus while our friend had a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I don't remember hearing complaints from either of them. Value: My wings were $15.00 and they were of the jumbo variety, so I guess they were worth it. Side of broccoli was like $6.00 I believe, so it was a relatively inexpensive lunch. The Caesar salad with chicken was $21.00 and my wife's salmon with vegetables was $25.00. So this place isn't a cheap-eats kinda deal, but it's not terribly expensive either. In conclusion, I liked it here! It's chill, the food was decent and it was a nice place to hang out. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to check out any of their beers, but that'll be on the next go-round! Give this place a chance if you're in the area and thank you for reading!

We also did the afternoon tea, which was absolutely lovely and a good value. Our hotel room was clean, comfy, modern, and spacious. The spa facilities were also extremely clean and well kept, with the ladies locker room stocked with everything you could ever need. Every staff person we dealt with from the hotel to the restaurants to the spa was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot tub/sauna/steam room area.. yes, it was crowded a few times but I noticed that crowds in both the pool and hot tub areas tended to clear quickly and several times I had both to myself! I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches everywhere, like cold washcloths available for post-sauna cooldowns and fresh flowers all over the place. The vibe was extremely relaxed and I appreciated that when staying in the hotel you get full use of the spa facilities even on check-out day. We had breakfast and lunch at Kensington's and also had the afternoon tea. Everything was delicious!! Good cocktails too. I wished the indoor pool had been larger to better accommodate busy times, and the spa treatments are definitely on the pricey side, but those are about the only two criticisms I can come up with about this place! We are hoping to make it an annual tradition!

When walking in I found a cute shop a little expensive though but there were cute clothes and spa items for sale. To the left was the area for facials, hair, nails ect. If you keep going you get to the check in counter a lounge and a juice bar that also serves cocktails. You go through a door on the left that leads to a pool area, gym, outdoor lounge and quiet room. In here are also doors to the locker rooms bin the locker room there are vanity's, showers, changing rooms, a sauna, steam room and hot tub. I spent the majority of my time in the hot tub and sauna. The vanity area provides deodorant, lotion, hair gel, hair dryer, a comb, q tips, & mouthwash. If you go back out and go to the right of the Enterence & up stairs there is bar, and then a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating as well. The food was good, the spa was relaxing. The reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is that the check out was long lasting because they were in the process of updating their birthday reward program and it wasn't matching there flyer on the counter. They did end up matching the flyer in the end it just took a long while.

The vibe is still solid and the concept is fun, but the execution just hasn't been there. The French dip was a major letdown--dry, bland, and missing the savory punch that makes the dish worth ordering. It felt more like an afterthought than a signature comfort item. Rapidly declining over time. Beer hasn't fared much better. Three out of my last four visits, the beer was served warm, which really takes the enjoyment out of the experience. For a place that leans on its bar identity, that's a tough miss. Service has been consistently lackluster, not rude but disengaged and slow, like everyone's half a step behind. It adds up, especially when the food and drinks aren't hitting the mark. There's still potential here, and the space itself remains appealing, but the recent decline is hard to ignore. With a little attention to quality and consistency, Tom Urban could get back to what made it a favorite in the first place. Cheers
