What a waste of an incredible oceanfront location. We came here hoping for a romantic meal with a beautiful beach view, but the food was a huge disappointment. The chicken tenders and fries were so overcooked and dry that they were difficult to eat. The coconut mahi-mahi was even worse -- the rice was stale and hard, almost crunchy, and the fish tasted boiled rather than fresh. It was completely drenched in sauce to the point that it looked more like soup on a plate. The dish came with only three small plantains and had absolutely no presentation or freshness. For a restaurant in such a prime location on Hollywood Beach, the quality of the food was shockingly poor. To make matters worse, they didn't even have sparkling water available despite having a full bar. The view is beautiful, but unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can say. We left hungry, disappointed, and feeling like we wasted both our time and money. Hollywood Beach deserves better than this. Save your money and choose another restaurant on the Broadwalk. Great view. Horrible food. Would not recommend. read more

Got great seats so we could see the beach and people watch. A bit of a breeze but manageable (you're at the beach,duh). Ariel got to us really quickly with a great smile and a fun personality. She got our drink orders and before we knew it they were at our table. Great for such a busy Saturday. I got the Jerk Chicken wrap and chips. LandShark is one of the dining options within the Margaritaville resort on Hollywood Beach. It's a bit expensive, but I feel like that's to be expected given the brand and location. I've been here a few times, and it's always a fun and relaxing dinner out. In my opinion, it's probably the best physical location of any restaurant on the beach-which is definitely its biggest draw. The dining area is outside, on the second floor, facing the beach-so you get those beach views and ocean waves, but also a view of Margaritaville's beautiful resort pool. It's also located right about the Hollywood Beach Bandshell, so you'll get live music and people-watching as well! I got the luau burger, which was pretty good! It had pineapple and teriyaki sauce, and hit what I was craving. It came with kettle chips. I considered upgrading to fries and I'm glad I didn't; I tried a family member's fries, and they didn't taste like anything. I would've been annoyed if I'd paid extra for them, especially when the chips were fine. Overall, the food is good but you're paying more for the location and the vibe-which is totally fine. After that service was fine. Turkey club for wife. Really large serving. Still have 1/2 of it in our fridge. Fish tacos for me. Decent serving size fairly tasty. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to grab the burger and margarita deal for $25. I saw the sign outside as I was walking to the beach. Jenny was the bartender and helped me within a few minutes of me sitting at the bar. She quickly brought me the marg, which was great. She mentioned the burger comes with house chips instead of fries. The fries would cost an extra $2.5. I opted for the chips, but I got fries anyway. No complaints over here. Everything was great! We have been trying all the resort spots at margaritaville, and Landshark was pretty good! I'm definitely a fan of the Uptown Marg ... which I mean, cmon, it's Margaritaville, what do you expect? We had the burger come highly recommended, and it was pretty good. It has a charbroiled flavor, which is a specific direction for burgers that some folks love and others don't. I thought it was good, but I also took a bite of my daughter's to try it, and she got a very basic burger. I personally got the Mahi tacos, which were super flavorful and well-cooked. I was a big fan of the Sriracha mayo that comes on it. The server was nice and made sure we were taken care of. No complaints there. In terms of the ambiance, I mean we are on the beach, folks! You can't argue with some people watching in every direction and an ocean view. All in all, it's a good spot. If you're staying at the hotel, I prefer Landshark over the Margaritaville restaurant. If you're poolside, it's 1000% the way to go. I still haven't tried the steakhouse, so that'll likely be next. Thanks! read more

This bar has a great location, feet from the beach and Margaritaville. The food was ok but there were issues that cannot be overlooked. The waitress did not come to our table until we had been seated for 15 minutes. And I had to ask the hostess to find my waitress as I had no idea who it was. She then disappeared and popped her head in once after. The food took ANOTHER almost 20 minutes, and when my burger came to the fries were cold. The burger was good, but by the time the waitress came by to ask us how all was, it was too late to get more fries. When the waitress dropped off the check she disappeared AGAIN! I had to track down the hostess to get the bill paid. Prices ok, location great. read more

Overall busy but it wasn't that bad of a wait. It was told about 30 minutes and we had put our number down. It look about 20 minutes actually and we got seated. The yellow light was for the turtles so that it wouldn't be too bright but it was messing with us when eating when all you could see if yellow food. So a flashlight will help. Funny enough our waiter was from our hometown which seemed crazy and such a small world. She was a great server. Our food was okay, the cesar salad 8/10, shrimp app 8/10, poke bowl 4/10, the burger 2/10. It was a good place to try for being in the area. Not sure if we'll be back though. read more

Out of all the places on the boardwalk I think this is the coolest! Nice restaurant with a great view of the ocean, it had fans so you really didn't feel the beat. Real time review. Took FOREVER to get water (water....... Water people! The first thing that has to be offered as soon as you walk in). The waitress--not even average. Rude (not sure if it had something to do with race or gender? But what I know is that she communicated with my white boyfriend appropriately). Food and drinks, Average at best. Crabcakes were really undesirable, my kid's bacon cheeseburger was best at average, his luau burger---only best thing was the sauce and the bacon, fries were stale AF, and chips were stale as well.. Why didn't I return it? Bec if it took THAT long to get water and drinks, imagine reordering the entire thing. The $15 drinks were also small and watered down (as in the ice melted bec it has been sitting somewhere forever). This is one of the best locations in Hollywood, right next to the bandshell, which explains the mediocrity. I ordered nachos and a fish sandwich to split with my husband. For the $22 price I expected a larger piece of Mahi Mahi. The brioche bun was smashed on top and a bit doughy. The nachos platter was humongous. Digging in, it seemed the big chips were carefully arranged on top with the bottom of the bag tiny bits under the toppings. Good guac, salsa and meat but not much cheese. This restaurant is part of the Margaritaville Resort. They are coasting on a name and beach proximity. Sorry, Jimmy, we won't be back. read more

If you get there earlier enough on weekends you could possibly score a table that overlooks the live music coming from the stage right on the boardwalk! Typical beach pricing - not too bad for a Margaritaville resort but the food here is not good at all. We had the wings with two different flavors. They were so well done and thickly coated in the wing sauce that they were tough and chewy. We also got the artichoke dip - that was straight mush. It really was gross.. Oh the opportunity! Great brand! Fabulous location. Orange lights on the table at night are cool, not conducive to a meal as food looks all the same brown color. The server was nice but service was slow. Seated 7:45, drinks and food ordered at first opportunity, 8:00. Drinks received 8:10, food 8:35. I ordered a small beer but received a large beer and was told the small beer would be what I'd be charged, but I was not. We were told we could have wings half of barbecue half order of teriyaki, but they were all teriyaki. Visited here one month ago mid afternoon when a friend came in from out of town and glad I did! It has a phenominal laid back outdoor vibe being part of Margaritaville while having great 2nd floor views. One view is from their covered bar's hightop seating area overlooking the hotel's resort and lagoon pool with mini waterfall where the guests swin in. This seating area does not require purchasing food. The other area to east does require ordering lunch /dinner but offers a more outdoor feel under umbrellas and the edge seating offers views of patrons/hotel guests using the surfing wave area, the broadwalk and the public performance theatre which has great bands perform at night on Sundays which I used to watch from downstairs in the general public area, I definitely want to come back to Landshark at night and chill eat and watch the performance! As for our mid afternoon visit we sat on the bar hightables and relaxed watching the lagoon pool, chatting with friendly staff, taking in the relaxed music and ordered Landshark Lagers. Nicely crisp and clean tasting, it is the house lager for "Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville". I can see myself ordering this again, refreshing and only 4.6 abv. After spending a short while here, we did not order anything to eat so I will have to come back and give the food a try! My friend wanted to check out the Resort and inside dinning area so we paid for our check and off we went! Will be back for sure as this area is one of my favorite areas!
