LB is a store that serves my needs. Every time i come here, the customer service is consistent. This location is the only one closest to me so being able to frequent it is not really an easy one. Oftentimes, i have items shipped to store if delivery straight from home doesn't work out. What i love about LB is that they often have great door busters, and if i need to return something after i pick up its as easy as 1-2-3. Today, i visited to pick up an item shipped to store, and was able to find some great deals. Utilize the LB cash rewards and their app and you can get great deals. Its not Nordstroms, but for me its about how the garment makes me feel. Not necessarily the label itself. So if its a high end label or a no name label as long as it invokes joy, sass and comfort count me in! 10/10 read more

I was only disappointed because this location didn't sell shoes but otherwise, there was a great selection even in the clearance section. The person who helped me was very professional, personable and attentive. Her name was Donetta (sp?). She sets the bar with her customer service skills. She walked right up to me and helped me from the time I came in the store until I checked out and had such a helpful attitude. Yet, she wasn't hovering. What happened to you LB????? You used to be good at everything. Now, you don't sell matching tops and bottoms ( coordinates ) in the stores. Online, the model will show a matching top and bottom although you're only selling the top. To get the bottoms, you have to search the rest of the site for those. Then, you don't have them anymore although your site says you do. Also, you don't have many 18/20 sizes or Petite sizes in store or online. It's extremely difficult to shop with you. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years and I'm very disappointed in your service now. You blame it on " supply chain" problems as per our conversation. If that's the case, why are you trying to sell items you don't have in any size???? Fix this problem or I'm gone. read more

Blanca was great! Came in at 25 minutes to close and she stayed an extra 20 minutes working with me. I bought more than I planned on but the sale of Att buy one get one 75% off was so good that I couldn't resist. She also helped me with an online order that will get shipped to my house for free. In the store, they only go up to band size 46 but some limited bras go up to band size 50 inches online. I'm really excited about one that I got that has hot pink straps! read more

Since they've redone the store layout it has gone down hill. Early on I was told it was an illusion and that there was the same amount of space for products. That could have been true at first but it is increasingly less true. First, so much space dedicated to underwear, bras, and pjs. Second, fewer and fewer day/night clothing pieces in the store. Nearly impossible to find a complete outfit to purchase. You're better off ordering clothes online. read more

"Never trust a big butt and a smile..." I cant buy much at this store, but I am able to wear their jeans. I went in here yesterday with a friend who had a return and decided to look for some jeans. I have a really small waist, and some junk in my trunk and baby bearing hips with no babies, so jeans arent easy for me. Most usually have a huge gap above my rear... and most stores only sell low rise jeans anymore, and no one likes a crack dealer. I tried on some jeans, felt like I was having a fat day and took in three different sizes, and thankfully was able to fit into the smallest size. They fit my junk in the trunk and there is no big gap above it. Perfect. I did get into a serious fight with the pair of skinny jeans trying to get them on, my face got red and I started to sweat... but I was told they will stretch a little so I talked myself into getting them anyway. If I went one size up and they stretched at all I would be bummed. So I will lay down to button them in the morning when I wear them - wont be the first time lol Then I saw the price. One pair was $75 and one pair was $70. I have never paid that much for jeans in my life. But they fit. But seriously? Ok, so they were buy one get one 50% off, and if I open a credit card, I get $25 off my purchase... so it took the jeans down to an average of about $45 each.... which for me, is still expensive, but I know thats me finding great deals on everything when I shop so I sucked it up. I cant wear the shirts in this store, as they are all too big for me, but looking at them, they just dont seem very stylish or flattering. I hope these jeans last me a really long time because ouch. The customer service was below average in this store as well. One of the employees was extremely rude to my friend, and the one who helped me was really neither rude or friendly, there just wasnt much of a personality. They should notify local lane Bryant credit card members when they close a store. I just got a coupon in the mail, drove 30 minutes to shop and the store is closed for remodeling. In the past, the service was consistently poor. The staff talking to each other instead of customers, no one checking on you while in the dressing room to see if you needed a different size and my biggest pet peeve, a young girl calling me honey or sweetie. I am a grown women customer that should be treated professionally and with respect. Honey is something you call a loved one. Lane Bryant is over priced but I still shop there for certain signature pieces because I know they will last. My friends and I had a great experience here this past Saturday. My friend had an exchange to make and I had some real woman dollars to spend. We were greeted as soon as we entered and Kim was helping my friend right away to exchange her bras that she had purchased online. Tika was the very Best, she helped me throughout my looking for a comfortable brazier for day-2-day use and also for a sports bra that suits me, I have an unusual size and usually end up paying hundreds of dollars for one at a local boutique. The ones she introduced to me r so comfortable, light weight, & has that wicking absorption material, which makes the girls practically feel all natural. I guess everyone decided to start going to the gym and lose weight because all these stores have been disappearing and well this one in Tustin should as well. I shop at Lane Bryant every now and then for pants...my lower body is a tad big and needs pants that fit! I can get some nice ones at Old Navy but they wear out quick...with the rub and all... My bff is a size 14 bottoms and her top is 9 or 10...so she comes here as well... Anyways, I came here on Saturday and had bad customer service. First of all, the bathroom was out of order...then the sales girls walked by me several times but none offered to help get me a fitting room despite the fact that I was dropping clothes because my hands were full.....then to top it off...i bought a very expensive sweater and requested to keep the hanger...the sales girl said no. Since I work close by I stopped in to see the place and to see if my order was ready. While I was waiting and looking around, the nice lady helping me was super nice, very welcoming, and filled me in on the sales, and or specials they were having. I tried on two pair of black yoga pants here. Naturally, the legs touch the floor of the dressing room as I got into them. I noticed that the bottom part of the pants was simply loaded with dust and crud. The dressing room floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in six months. Dust bunnies everywhere. I selected a clean pair off the rack to purchase, but showed the dirty cuffs to the woman at the register. Her reaction? She just LOOKED at me and said nothing. I said that I guessed their cleaning crew was slacking off. Still no reaction! Lane Bryant corporate, the staff at this store does not care! The clothes have gotten more fashionable over the years thats a plus. However, I was blown away by how bad the service was. Unfriendly, disassociated, not one smile from any of them the whole time I was there. I had arm fulls of stuff and had to get my own dressing room and when I set it in dressing room and went to look for more things they took everything out of the room and started to put it away. Wasn't too impressed with Emma or Peggy. Walked in, they both looked at us, weren't helping other customers and didn't even say hi. I had to get their attention and ask about specific pants my mom wears. Peggy then pointed in the direction where they'd be which wasn't helpful as there were so many pants and different types in the area, I asked if she can assist with showing exactly where they were. She walked over and again pointed, so I looked and helped myself. They were not nice to my mother who is a senior. I was able to get the pants as they changed the name of the pants and had my mom try on. No amount of money we spent should be a reason for better service. It wasn't welcoming. My mom felt like she was a bother, which is not ok. As we were leaving the whole time Emma and Peggy went to eachother at the cash register and stared at us as we walked to our cat. Only way I noticed was because my husband and kids were walking behind me and when I turned around is when I noticed. Mine and Emma's eyes met and I saw her staring so I waved by and she gave an awkward wave. Do better ladies. Customer service is very poor at this store. No one smiles and they are unwelcoming. When my sister asked why it was so hot in the store, Olga responded in a rude manner, she said, "do you see what I am doing here (while fanning herself), if I had control over it, I would do something about it"!!! The AC has been broken for a while, and they don't plan not getting it fixed any time soon, and they have no control over the heater. We didn't know that you don't have control over the heater, but you didn't have to be so rude about it. The employees seem to stand around and do nothing but talk to each other. I always have a terrible experience here. They are never friendly when I walk in, and are rarely helpful. Every time I question their signs they are never in the right spot and all they say is people miss placed the item there, but why are there are 5 other ones in the same spot? The manager there is the most unhelpful and unfriendly person I have ever been around. She never feels the need to step in when I question the signs or a price. This is the second time I have walked into this newly renovated store and left empty handed. The customer service is so bad. The first time I walked in the lady who "greeted" me, glared at me as I entered. I was with someone else who noticed it and we took a quick walk around the store, then left. It was so bad. Today, I went in and was not allowed to make a direct exchange for something I bought online. It was so maddening. I walked out and went over to Ross, found what I needed, and saved a ton of money. I used to frequent this store but I have no desire to ever enter it again. It is hard enough dealing with weight issues and needing to shop at a "speciality store". I have been to this store before and most of the workers are NOT FRIENDLY but it's the closest one near me. Only once did I have great customer service and it was from a young girl and when I complemented her outfit and thanked her for helping the other coworker seemed annoyed. Today I went for bra's and they are not cheap. But there was no customer service at all... I was searching for sizes and went to the fitting rooms myself. Alrighty then. I found my store. There were racks and racks of like items (although only a few were in my size). I did try on one size smaller of the Lafayette pants, and they FIT! BONUS! One sales girl saw me with a small pile of pants to try on and immediately asked me if I would like to try them on. I didn't even have to ask! Then once I decided to purchase ALL 5 pair of pants, the girl at the register was very friendly and talkative, and I told her how much I loved the Lafayette cut and how it was hard to find. We small talked, and she folded (yes, I said folded - not crumpled) my pants and placed them in a big enough bag. Yea! My real women dollars are spent and I am happy. read more

I needed to find a big-girl swimsuit, and sadly the South Coast Lane Bryant disappeared a year or two back. I really liked that store, nice helpful folks and decent clothes if you're not trying to be terminally hip. This was my first time setting foot in this store and while it looked sizable from the outside, the inside was much smaller than the SC one had been. The selection was more limited, especially of swimsuits. Does no one buy them actually in summer anymore? At least I got 30% off. Some of the other clothes were still young and cute, they've moved away from selling as much frumpy stuff as they used to. That stuff has moved to the catalog (which is almost impossible to order accurately out of ) or other plus-size stores like Catherine's. The salespeople were rather middling...no one offered help, and one guy who worked there seemed to be trying to be deliberately obnoxious considering it's a workplace and not a club. He ignored me waiting in line, went into the back for maybe ten minutes, and as soon as he reappeared the long-suffering cashier helping the woman in front of me asked him to PLEASE take me as I had been waiting SO patiently. He pouted but did it, which is good because I was about to accidentally knock over the sale rack on my way out. I really, really miss the South Coast store. read more

I would give this place a 0. The customer service is terrible. One of the sales girls walked right by us TWICE without a greeting or asking if we need any help. She just glared at me as she walked by each time. I don't know what her problem was, but my mom and I don't deserve to be treated that way when we come into your store. When I was ready to pay, I stood by the register for 5 minutes waiting for someone to help, until I had to ask one of the other sales women walking around to help. She looked around for the sales woman who was supposed to be there and looked annoyed as she came up to help me. If I wasn't buying something for my mom, I would have left the items on the counter and walked out. A total of 4 sales woman working the store, maybe 2 customers including myself, and not one person is available to help. Then you have the nerve to look annoyed and give me attitude when you're called on to do your job, really? Get it together. I am a customer giving business to your store. Greet me and whoever is with me, ask me if I need any help, and by all means be happy to take my hard earned money that keeps your store in business and puts food on YOUR table. I've never written a review of a clothing store before. It's probably because I HATE shopping in general, and I especially HATE shopping for clothes! That said, I found myself NEEDING to stock up on lingerie so I drove on down to this store. I was greeted by Diana when I walked in & we immediately hit it off! She offered me a "bra fitting" and I said, " sure, why not"?!? She stayed with me the entire time I was there & was more than happy to "check the back" for anything I wanted...to see if they had it in stock in the color or size I wanted. She was just SO personable and funny! This is IMPORTANT to me, as I'm a "people person" and enjoy a good sense of humor!!! I ACTUALLY had a FUN time shopping (which is out of the norm. for me)!!! Somehow, I managed to have a FUN time spending about $500!!! When I go back, and I WILL, I will request Diana! She's such an asset to this company!!! My wife is about 6 feet tall - and this place has dress pants and fashion attire that is great for tall chicks. Probably good for big and beautiful too. This is definitely not a discount establishment. Things are not purchased cheaply here. But they have a nice assortment of woman's clothing. And the staff always seem personable and helpful. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My mom payed cash for an online order which Lane Bryant cancelled. The store and customer service, while over the phone could not help me. They said we wouldn't be charged for the order, except she payed cash for the items therefore, being charged! They gave us an online gift card which only has the last four digits. Furthermore, in order to get the refund we need the full number which they never gave us! I spent over an hour at the store location on hold for customer service. The store representative said that it would be taken care of, and they would help us yet nothing was done! Meanwhile my mother who is elderly and disabled is out $53. It should not be this hard to get a frickin refund. All I can say is Lane Bryant has lost a life long customer. read more

To start I was greeted when I came in and Virginia helped size me and my gma for bras. Then Cassie came over to speak with us when she saw us struggling to find the kind of bra my grandma was looking for. Asked us what she would like and then pointed us to some that were buy one get one half off in the style my grandma preferred! After we were all done Virginia helped ring us up, and even pointed out some savings. This location is very personable and really focuses on client care. They are very helpful! Whether you need someone to help you find an item, getting a fitting room, or even staying with you while you shop for all the items you need - they don't get impatient if you are indecisive like I was when I visited. If the lady was annoyed I couldn't tell one bit as she seemed extremely happy to help. On a separate trip to this place I had to make an exchange as the item i purchased didn't quite match what I needed it for. I unfortunately couldn't find my receipt however, the woman who helped me remembered and they were able to find the receipt by looking up the journal on the day I came since I recalled the time I was there. I really appreciated that as she was wanting to make sure I got the correct credit due to everything being in tact with the item. It wasn't even worn I simply just needed to match the color to another garment at home. Thank you for treating me like a person and not another transaction for your store!!!! I have been a customer of Lane Bryant's for 20+years and every year I buy 2 Bras from them. And I did the same thing this year, so I purchased them online and picked them up in the this store and everyone is always very friendly and then 6 months later the under-wiring in my bra breaks in half and stabs me. I am sure you know what I am talking about metal wire its sharp and hurts. Anyway I contacted customer Service and Steven E. said there was nothing he could do for me as "Lane Bryant Products only last about 5 months" I am in shock that they would not stand behind there product and so basically you pay $50.00 for a bra for it to last maybe 5 months I have never heard of such a thing. I will never purchase from Lane Bryant again....This is a Diss to the larger lady that we don't deserve quality products for how much we spend!!! read more

On March 13 I bought 3 items that were going to be shipped to my home at no extra cost. The next day I noticed my bank statement had two identical charges and I called the store and spoke to a store employee about the double charges. She said the manager, Caroline, would call me back. March 18, five days later, and no call from the store! In the meantime two duplicate orders were shipped to me and I figured out why I was charged twice. I called the store again and left a message for the store and was told the same thing- Caroline would call me back. March 22, still no call which I don't understand why- I'm a reasonable person and I understand mistakes happen but the lack of follow up was insulting. It was the first time I had gone to the store and this is the treatment I was getting. I went to the store to return the extra merchandise and spoke with Penny. She was apologetic and couldn't explain why the store manager had never called me back. Because of this they have lost a customer and worse, the bras I bought are a terrible fit. They gap in the front , pinch in the shoulders, and fit too tight-it hurts to wear them. Lesson learned. read more

I'm not really sure why there are so many negative reviews here. My experience has always been positive. I've come to this location with my mom for years and she always finds more than she was looking for and everything is really nice. They have professional attire and hotspot clothes too for when other stores only carry heavy clothes during the fall and winter. Anything that isn't available in the store can be ordered and ships free to your house. Service is always great and the ladies are kind and honest (which is helpful especially when you shop by yourself). They can do bra fittings and even will come to your fitting room to look at the bra and give feedback on the fit. What I saw about the bra comment by another yelper, I've talked to the ladies and they've told me that the bras usually last 6months to a year depending on how they're washed and how often they are used. They even suggested rotating bras so they last longer. I also received instructions on how to wash the bras. Another thing I've noticed is people complaining about the prices. First of all, anywhere you go that sells decent clothing is priced the same. Secondly they send coupons through mail and email and they're available through the website. I get their text messages and Lane Bryant always has sales going on and the real woman's dollars are a great value! Great store, fashionable clothes, and fantastic service! read more

First, I shop here quite often (meaning I go in a few times a year because clothes shopping is often depressing for me). I really like most of the women who work here though I will admit to having a harder time with the thinner girls working there - but I guess we can't be discriminatory. Pros: --Friendly staff --Store is clean and looks good. --Staff will help you work all the discounts to save money. --I found the most comfortable bra I've ever worn! I'm a 42F and I didn't think there was a comfortable bra out there, but now they have an extra padded underwire bra and it's the only thing I wear anymore! Plus -- and this is important!! -- I can buy this bra is patterns and colors, I'm not relegated to nude, black or white. THANK YOU! Cons: --They got rid of the sale section I loved. (sale stock is now 1 small area that is jam packed and when I went in yesterday they only had tops avail) --They don't have enough sizes available in stock. I took a friend in to find some clothes last night. We seriously would have purchased more items if they had her size in things. --Store needs to be colder! Come on, we are big women, don't make me sweat to try clothes on! I give it a moderate price rating because after applying sale/discounts it is usually more affordable. I want to update my review because I reached out to corporate and they got back to me. Their response was mailing me a post card for 25% off. Now why would I drive back to the same store with the same crappy management and try to use a 25% off coupon after I had to throw my $25 off coupon away because the manager refused to accept it??!!And after it was so obvious that she would not accept it because she was poorly trained and didn't know how to enter it with the POS system. As someone who did retail management for years myself I can honestly say I will never shop here again, not only because of the store manager but because corporate failed to display any customer skills as well.
