The workers were accommodating for anyone to speak up, come early for private viewing and plenty of water and tissues readily available for public use. The viewing room we were in was rather small but perfect for the small family crowd we had. I appreciated having a somewhat private room across the hall for those moments where you need a minute to be alone. The parking lot was small and became a bit of an issue during peak times. Also, because it's on the corner of several main roads, it's easy to pass if you aren't familiar with the area or to get lost in the tops plaza behind it.

My grandmother looked absolutely beautiful and even years younger, with all the details we had requested carried out exactly to our wishes. On the day of the viewing, the staff was nowhere in sight, which left us free to spend all our time with our loved ones. We appreciated the fact that they were still behind-the-scenes. If you want to hear inappropriate and unprofessional comments made about your family members while the owner sits idly by- then this is the place for you! This all happened to me in August 2025. We had to remove our family member from DuBois funeral home and move him to MJ ColuccI & Son funeral chapel where we received kindness, compassion, professionalism and no one yelled at me! And they read my eulogy, scriptures and poems with kindness and respect. Please be warned the owner and "pastor" at DuBois funeral home have lost their compassion and need to retire. Please do not go there alone for any meetings and be very careful- this place is not safe and you could be traumatized further at your worst time of grieving.

When my family contacted Hamp it was smooth sailing. Not only was everyone incredibly understanding and kind, but they had a list of recommendations for almost everything, they walked us through everything we needed to do with ease. In one day we had everything picked and ready to go, simply amazing. The funeral home itself is the best i've ever seen. Its spacious, its beautiful, there's even a coy pond out back you can check out. I'm happy and honored my grandmothers beautiful service could be held here. Not only was everything seamless, but they had water bottles out for everyone, they even had the priest stop in to give a wonderful prayer towards the end of the wake, this would have meant the world to my grandmother. Everyone who attended even said it was one of the most beautiful wake & funerals they have attended. On the day of the funeral, everyone was organized and helpful to make everything happen perfectly, it was truly a relief.
