I want to love this place... I want to love it SO badly. But sadly I just can't, and it's not without many many trials that I find myself writing this disappointed review. First off - their sign claims them as an organic juice bar, which they aren't. They even have an artful sign that reads "cold-pressed juice", but after thoroughly examining the menu, and then finally questioning staff, they actually do not even serve juice! I have found their smoothies to be delightful, but extremely overpriced even compared to other shop offerings a few miles away in downtown portsmouth, and was actually charged an extra dollar to add cinnamon to a smoothie I was already asking to omit an ingredient from. And as for a café that likes to think of itself as vegan-friendly, so many things that could easily be vegan have non-vegan ingredients thrown in (baked donuts, soup, chia pudding, brownies, etc). Nothing is more disappointing tho than their smoothie bowls; At this point I will find myself driving 10 minutes out of my way to the Juicery because I quite frankly give up! I have tried their bowls for the past year now about every other month hoping the problems will be fixed, but alas I always find myself with a $10+ bowl full of huge chunks of frozen acai, and more than once I've had missing toppings including peanut butter I asked to add on top and was charged for! I kindly mentioned this when I gave them another chance a month or two later and the cashier simple uttered "oh sorry" and didn't offer to add peanut butter to the one I was ordering or anything. I could go on with complaints but simply put - I just really hope the owners or managers do their research and teach their staff how to properly execute their offerings especially with a price-tag so high (seriously, they're charging the same for smoothies and bowls as out in LA, Manhattan, and Miami Beach where the products are always fresh and consistently on point). It's really disappointing to see a space with so much potential be such a let down to someone who is an avid health food fan. read more

I love this place. Their coffee is good, their smoothies are that perfect marriage of yummy and healthy, and their grain bowls are warm, clean and filling. The only downside is their limited seating--only 4 tables, so be prepared to order to go if they're all full. A great little healthy vegetarian spot! read more

Some healthy options for quick delicious lunch. Recently had pumpkin soup that was delicious- only one suggestion-can you provide soup spoons for your soups? Asked for one instead of the teaspoon size that was served with the soup and was told they didn't have "larger" spoons. I had an amazing lunch! They have the greatest salads and smoothie bowls just for starters. Every ingredient from the edible flowers to veggie burgers are fresh as can be! We liked this place, if you having a healthy kinda-day. It's a small place, not a lot of seating (at least in the winter), expect to take out. I imagine the outdoor seating and extra space is lovely in the nice weather. We parked in the Exeter public parking lot, which is always packed, actually we parked in the motorcycle parking spot with our tiny car (otherwise we would be driving around the lot several times like everyone else). We both ordered salads, both added avocado and the veggie burger, and we shared a package of the kale chips. As we stood, shifting to allow people to the trash system (which was very cool by the way, kudos on the bio packaging and push for composting and recycling!) we ate the kale chips. I wont lie, they were the best Kale chips I've ever had! After waiting about 10 mins, we received our salads to go and ate back at the office. Both the salads were great, very colorful and fun ingredients. We both decided we would probably pass on the veggie burger addition in the future, but all in all a very light and delicious lunch. Go on a sunny day, get the Kale chips and something else extremely healthy, walk down the street and sit at Swazey park on a blanket and share your veggie burger with the ducks! :) read more

Their packaging is compostable which is also awesome. They have a parking lot too so you don't have to park on the street. Everyone is always super friendly and I love that you can order online. This is my favorite place to go for an acai bowl. Strawberry acai bowl is the best I have ever found. The only problem is, sometimes they don't blend it well enough and I end up throwing out huge chunks of acai. Other than that, delicious healthy and filling. They use unsweetened acai, which makes me so happy. I love the almond brew, homemade donuts, sweet potato brownies, sprouted falafel, epic egg sammie, etc...but 9/10 times I get the acai bowl. This place has the cleanest and healthiest eating in town. It tastes great and for a fair price....we go here regularly. My only complaint are the hours. Closing at 6 pm doesn't make any sense to me. Are they trying to capture the dinner crowd or not? This is my favorites places to eat when I am home in the Portsmouth area(only a short drive away). All of there food is beautiful, healthy, and tasty. I ALWAYS end up ordering the Fiesta Bowl, which is my favorite, packed with many important and delicious nutrients. I have also ordered their smoothies which are equally as wonderful. The small intimate cafe is filled with great spirt and the outside patio area is lovely. It is inspiring to read the quotes that they have posted on the wall. It's a vegetarian cafe located in downtown Exeter but confusing to find as it's in the Back of a house right by the public parking lot in the middle of town. There's some outdoor seating available and some tables inside but it's small inside. Service was friendly. You place an order, pay and you'll get a sign as they'll bring the dishes to your table. Don't know if they have a bathroom available. It's only open during the day. Like many vegetarian dishes, prices are a bit Expensive but the food is filling and good. Eating vegetarian dishes is fine but the relatively high prices can be off putting for many. read more
