I always appreciate when smoothie shops have banana free options on the menu since I'm not the biggest fan, and the Juicery has multiple. My order was to go but I have eaten in the cafe before. It's a small place and doesn't have a lot of seating, so I would never plan to go and sit there, but sometimes if I'm there and there's space I'll decide to stay. It's a cute storefront and is super close to the shops and the water downtown, so it's nice to get a smoothie and go for a walk.

Downtown Exeter has a couple of good restaurants, but we're definitely lacking in the "real food" department. Enter Laney & Lu! Everything on their menu is a healthy eater's dream: smoothies with real fruits and veggies, rice and quinoa bowls, beautiful salads, gluten-free options that aren't just the same old sandwich on Udi's bread...plus, it's amazing what they've done with the space. I've had the Blissful Chakra salad - honestly the most gorgeous salad I've ever eaten, and I'm a vegetarian in New Hampshire so I order salad a LOT ;) - and the Sweet Green smoothie, which was lovely and the perfect texture (tricky when you're blending up kale!). All I can say is...WOW! We're not usually the type to eat at vegetarian restaurants but there's always a time to try. The food quality and taste is amazing. Staff was very helpful in recommending menu items for us. The Colorful Curry was the best of out items. Prices are on their website, which we felt were fair.
