The bowl was massive, and I was extra hungry so we got the breakfast burrito to share. We are not usually plant based, but the burrito was delicious and so flavorful. We loved that they also have a few decks of cards! There's 3 little tables that can seat 2-3, and then a lil bar that seats 4. Metered parking can be found on the street or in the parking lot across the street/behind the bank lot. read more

UPDATED REVIEW** Roots has changed a lot since the first times they have opened. I've come back with my boyfriend about 5-6 times since then, and he comes much more often than I do. We both agreed that they are a lot more consistent in their drinks, and have really enjoyed the smoothies every time we've gone. This is probably going to be a usual from now on. I went and got the Sweet green, and it is so delicious. Tastes more like a treat yet has great ingredient inside. I'm all for this place! Prices are a little high but what do you expect from non commercial juicery/smoothie places now a days.. worth it! Every time I've eaten at or ordered from Roots has been a delight. I am constantly looking forward to the days when I can enjoy a Sunny Sandwich, a slice of Roots chocolate cake, or a yummy cold brew. Pre-COVID I loved sitting in the cozy cafe and looking at all of the stickers, patches and other fun items inside. Now, and since the pandemic began, I've felt the utmost confidence in Roots to operate in a way that protects their employees as well as their customers. I'm so happy that Roots has continued to offer the same level service and the same delicious recipes (and more!!!) since implementing precautions that make me feel safe continuing to order. The owner is extremely thoughtful and always looking to make a special experience for her customers. Not only has Roots continued to be open for takeout (and now delivery), they have offered specials for certain holidays - Thanksgiving meals, Valentine's sweets - and have done online cooking classes and other informative videos for the community. The online ordering process is great, allowing customers to pre-order for contactless pickup. Don't forget to tip! The staff is super nice and I have been ordering the Green Fuel smoothie (kale, spinach, apple, banana, coconut, & spirulina and I get a scoop of hemp hearts added for extra fiber and protein) for about 2 weeks now (about 8 or 9 of them) and the smoothies have really changed my life!
