Eating here one day a week will make up for all of the crap you consume the rest of the month. You'll be singing and dancing and seeing the world in bright colors for days. Honestly, it's so freaking healthy and yummy that you'll wonder why you ever eat anything else. Pricey? Yeah. It really is. But this is a high-end Southern-California fresh-food, microbrewed (coffee) experience, and worth every penny. So cool to have something like this in Exeter. I'd put it right alongside Otis in the upper-echelon high-end category of awesomeness that continues Exeter's march toward becoming Portsmouth-light. Really yummy, delicious, good-for-you grub. I had the burrito with rice amongst a million other ingredients but they all worked deliciously together. I was getting anxiety waiting in the restaurant since it is SO small and hardly any seating. Hopefully they look into expanding in the future because it's definitely gaining popularity. It's also pretty expensive but you're getting all-natural, organic ingredients. We also tried the Gingerbread & Chocolate smoothies. They both tasted like cake batter - SO good. read more

First visit: enjoyed a tasty, blueberry basil smoothie. What a unique combo...highly recommend! Second visit: didn't enjoy the pineapple mango smoothie. Tasted like, nothing really. I was unimpressed with the smoothie claiming to have cocoa and peanut butter protein. Only hints of peanut butter but no cocoa. The staff member at the window was unimpressive and since I hadn't been there before she was a bit rude. On top of the service, to add insult to injury, two smoothies were a little over $20!!! Extremely disappointed with the quality and volume I received today. After spending nearly 30.00 on two açaí 'bowls' I was given half full smoothie cups haphazardly thrown together with limited toppings. The different in eating at the restaurant and taking Home is profound- with the latter you are not given nearly as much açaí or topping, with the price point being paid it truly feels like a rip off. I generally purchase something from Laney and Lu's 3x a week but this is my breaking point. As noted in the pictures attached, there are literally 8 pomegranate seeds, 2 paper thin slices of orange and a pathetic serving of the topping. In addition this barely meets the halfway mark of the cup. I would caution anyone ordering a açaí bowl to go to have them put it in a to go container forcing them to give you the proper serving size. This is not the first time I have run into this discrepancy. I look forward to finding a new establishment even if it means driving farther. read more

I have been wanting to visit for a while now and I wish I had come in sooner! The place is tiny but very cute, bright and super clean. The staff are attentive and the order was made quickly. We both ordered the Almond Brew coffee which was so yummy and I am not a bit fan of coffee! I also had the toast with almond butter and bananas and it was a perfect start to the morning. My friend had the Huevos Rancheros and and he was very happy with the taste and how fresh everything was. Being a vegan I am overjoyed to have place I can go to with my carnivore friends. It's so healthy." And you want a half-pound burger someplace, anyplace. Fuggit about it. Just go. It's like a Michael Buble concert. If you got dragged there you'd think "This ain't my style." Then, once you dig in you discover this is pretty good. In the case of L&L, it's excellent. Leave the Spirulina Lattes and the other exotic health elixirs for the yoga classmates if you like. But I assure you that an order of huevos rancheros, the Kellie, an Egg Sammie, or even (dam') avocado toast with a slight hangover or a long night of exercise will cause you to consider selling the Trans-Am and getting a German compact ride.
