As much as I support family businesses, this one now works straight for the government. We had a bike towed and told by the officer that it will be released to pick up in 24 hours. However, the junkyard insisted that it needs to be registered although the DMV confirmed that they are unable to register, and the officers said we can pick it up with their statement.. very unfortunate that family businesses are now robbing the community. My car was totaled by a friend, and I was never given the option to arrange towing through my own insurance. The towing company towed my vehicle without my permission as the owner and is now demanding $800 for the tow. The car was only valued at about $1,500 before the accident, so they are charging more than half its pre-accident value for a service I did not authorize and did not want. I would have preferred to have the car towed to a scrap yard for a much lower cost and sign over the title. Instead, the company still has my keys (including those for my work and home) along with other personal items from my keychain. While the towing itself was performed like any standard tow company would do, the charges are outrageous for a completely totaled vehicle that cannot even be driven off the lot. These fees feel dishonest, especially since the company knows the car's current value is far below $800. They likely plan to scrap it for parts and profit from roughly $40 worth of labor. Because of these inflated charges, I haven't been able to retrieve important personal belongings from the car--such as my blankets, scrubs, and other items I left behind during an active dissociative episode right after the wreck. In the bluntest terms, this company appears to prey on vulnerable, low-income, or down-on-their-luck individuals to turn a profit. read more

I see the other reviews, but I had a good experience with them just now. I went to get the belongings out of my car, due to a car accident. I was greeted right away, had someone walk me to my wrecked car and made sure I had the least muddiest path to take since I was wearing short ankle boots. My car was filled with car debris so the gentleman asked what I needed and I just pointed and he grabbed everything I needed and things I didn't think I need, but needed. The staff and I had good conversations about my car and they even pulled together to get my daughters laptop out of the truck when it was not originally accessible. They were professional, understandable, patient and knowledgeable. read more

Some jerk broke my back passenger window so, I needed a replacement. Called Langley's and they were amaizing. Found what I was looking for, even though they'd only had the non-tinted version. Wtvr. As I walked through the door, the man behind the counter was setting down my window(the tinted version!). He said he'd managed to find one for me. I've lived in Clark County my entire life and Langley's has always been who I call when I need a tow, When I was a kid I remember my mom calling them when we were broke down, very trustworthy people. This time around I had a project that required a crane to lift a tank off my truck and then back on a few weeks later. Both times they were on time, ready to help and did a great job. Vehicle was brought here after auto accident. Went to claim belongings and release the vehicle to insurance. Female office manager was very helpful and kind, unlike her male employee. He clearly didn't want to help us, and was very rude and berating to my parents when they were getting their belongings from the vehicle. One of the car doors dinged another salvaged vehicle while we were removing the bumper from the inside of the cabin and the expletives started flying. We were calm and apologized for the carelessness, and he kicked our car door shut and told us "Don't just say sorry, don't do it again." I hope when you are dealing with an accident and recovering from the injuries, you are fortunate enough to not have to come here. read more

this company is corrupt this company will tow your car and if you can't afford to get it out the company is to. have a public auction it says it does but it's advertised in the reflector paper day of auction you can view cars starting at 9 auction starts at 11 it's corrupt the owner tells you put your offer down and it's never opened so the company never sells your car the company keeps all them for their junk yard and auto sales. the owner is still liable for the tow when the auction price is over the bill if the auction was real, please go to the public auction if you see what I've seen every time. make a complaint with Washington state police, office Golla he is in charge of keeping tow company s honest honesty you see it and call that's the only way public will be able to buy from them read more

My trailer was stolen in Maple Valley Wa. on Dec. !6 2020 the Police had it towed to Langleys towing on May th 5th 2021 I was notified by the police on May the 25th that my trailer was recovered I called Langleys Towing on May 25th and was told the Storage would be 48.00 dollars a day from that date witch would have been a total of about 400 dollars by June 2nd when I was able to get down there from Maple Valley. When I got there the Women in the office said the bill would be right at 1600 dollars I told her what I was told and she said no one in there office would tell anyone that . So she was calling me a liar. I went and looked at the trailer and with the damage to the trailer I decided that I would just let them keep it and she said that if she cut the bill in half would I take it I said I would if she would let me have it for what they told me which she would not do . At that point my Son in law said he would pay that amount. We took the trailer and left. The Women that was in the office was Very rude and and I hope that they will at least try and be more honest . A couple weeks ago when my car died on a busy road at night, I have called roadside assistant and they connected me with Langley's and I have told the male worker that I needed a tow home and the male said ok, we will be out there in about 30 minutes, well I waited over an hour before I called them back. The male told me that it may take about 15 minutes but can't garrentee the time and I said ok. Well about another hour later, a Vancouver police officer came and I have explained what happened to my car and that I was becoming very pissed with the tow company that NEVER came. The officer cancelled Langley's and called for their tow that came within 30 minutes. Talk about Langley's very poor service! If your car breaks down and need a tow home, DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! I broke the front axle on 1 of my trucks, & when I went on a website to find a new one. That website said that Langley's Auto Wrecking had one. So I jump in my other truck to head down & get it. I called the day before to make sure they still had one. They said they did. I get down there & when I show some other guy the old broken one I had, the shmuck behind the counter acted like I deficated in his cereral. He then said, "I can't sell that." To which I reply "Why not?" He then says "I cant sell the whole differential then. My boss didn't realize what she posted." I then said "Well other wrecking yards can & do zell them like that." He then took down my phone number so he could verifiy with his boss lady if it was ok to sell it & call me later. Later came & he said he couldnt sell just the one axle. So I guess my money was no good there. & cold hard cash money at that; n o debit or credit cards. so in conclusion, I wasted a whole day & $60 worth of gas not to get a part they had in stock & advertised as such. So if you do decide to patronize this place, call before you go & see if they can sell parts they have. read more

This establishment overcharges and admittedly does so because they can! And we wonder why our premiums are so high when it comes time to pay them.
