Great seafood joint!!! I was there last weekend and I was thrilled, the complementary ceviche that they provide you it's amazing, you have to try it with the habanero sauce that they provide you with its a bit hot both so flavorful. I started with the shrimp empanadas Ansley me tell you they are to die for and the dipping sauce that comes with are just perfect for it. As an entree I had the langostinos and at first was a little skeptical since for my opinion where a bit smaller than what I have tried before, but my skepticism disappeared when I tasted it, the flavor was amazing, perfect seasoning. I didn't care much for the French fries but the salad and rice that comes with where delicious But what I liked the most to be honest was the guayava margarita, I'm not a big drinker but those margaritas where just perfectly balanced!!! read more

Their rice is very flavorful. Their prawns and filete relleno are great too. However, there is one con. Whenever we order from them, they put the take out containers in a plastic grocery bag, and the containers leak in the bag. So when we open the bag we have to do it over the sink because it's a very messy affair. read more

Wow, just great. I have never had seafood like this before and wow. We had garlic breaded shrimp and mummy shrimp and it was just delicious and different. I was a little bummed out when the the live music started. We were finishing up so I couldn't see more than a couple of songs by the guy in the cowboys hat with the accordion and the guy in the adidas hat playing the 12 string. They were really good. I guess show up around 7 for the music on a Saturday night. Food and great atmosphere (is Latin red lobster racist?) ... I should've know this place was not the greatest place to eat when I saw only q few cars in the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. Usually these Mexican seafood places are packed. We walked in and we're sat down. The lady who helped us took our drink order, then said she would give us a minute to take our food order. This took ten minutes instead. A server brought out a free sample of fish ceviche. It was very good and so I thought the rest of the food should be as well. After waiting about 15 minutes, which is actually really good for the usual wait time for food at these sort of places, the food came out. I ordered the camarones a su gusto which is just shrimp tossed in your choice of sauce accompanied by rice and lettuce with a slice of an orange. It was acceptable at best. My wife had more fish ceviche, it was pretty good! My mother in law had a stuffed fish plate which she said was not really as good as it looked in the picture. My son is really picky and when he read the small choice of kids menu items he opted for some plain steak tacos. They came out and looked like a burger patty had been taken apart, grilled, and thrown onto a tortilla and were pretty tasteless.. my daughter had the shrimp empanadas. They were dry and the seasoning was very salty. After waiting for service for about 20 minutes I just loudly had to verbally wave down the waitress. I told her we were ready to go and needed the bill. The bill came and that's when we found out that my wife's regular margarita was $20. Because the menu doesn't show prices for drinks. We also found out at that moment that a 17% gratuity had been added to the bill for a table of 5. Will never be back again. People, please stay away. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I ordered crab legs and the server asked me if I wanted a half-order as the full one was 3 pounds! The crab was cooked to perfection and served with a very tasty, and VERY spicy sauce that I'm trying to replicate... can't wait to go again! read more

Horrible service. The food is delicious. But the waiters and waitress that we have had on separate occasions are very rude. (The same two waiters) Because of the pandemic it says to wear your mask we had them on. We asked if we could sit farther from the customers they had bunched up in one certain area. They refused to accommodate us and allowed us to walk out (less money for the restaurant owners). They said they were cleaning the other area, they weren't and they only had 4 tables of customers. We noticed that these customers were two per each of the bigger tables. We wanted a bigger table, they said no, in case a bigger group comes in. We had 1st asked for the small table near the entrance they said they were cleaning there. Bottom line poor customer service. We've been customers many times of this restaurant. The service has always just been awful. As much as I like their food I will not stand for horrible treatment. They would rather we catch covid sitting that close. Customers should be listened to or try and work with us. read more

I live in very close proximity to this place and LOVE their ceviche. But they overcharge for simple/easy appetizers and have definitely lost a regular customer as a result. In the future, I'll pick up some take-out and (maybe) get a drink at the bar. Other than that, it's not worth the price--especially when the bill isn't itemized and the final amount is arbitrarily calculated based on how low their patron numbers are for the day. read more

I love this place! We have been here four times now and every time has been terrific. I have taken family and friends and they have all been very happy with the food. The langostinos are very good, the Huachinango is phenomenal, and the fish tacos are great, as well and the fajitas. I love that you get free ceviche for an appetizer. I also love that the margarita glasses are rimmed with salt and chile. Most of the prices are very reasonable for seafood and the quality is spot on! Can't recommend it enough read more

The food was outstanding! I had the seafood stuffed pepper, which was served in a delicious red sauce. My husband had the seafood stuffed filet, which was a filet smothered in shrimp and calamari. The calamari was tender and everything was very fresh. There aren't a lot of staff and the service was a little slow. There was a huge TV playing a Mexican soap opera (it seemed), and the atmosphere was much more casual than you would expect from a good restaurant. But all that just made the quality of the food more of a surprise. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone! read more

Unless you are from a Mexican Town way off the grid and love Mexican banda music as loud as a night club, too loud to talk over dinner & eating in the dark and wish to impress that type of person by paying for very overpriced seafood you might want to stay away from here? We came in on a Friday night, during lent looking for some good Mexican seafood when we decided to try this place and ordered 2 dishes: a spicy shrimp soup & a plate full of oysters on the shells each garnished with one shrimp a small piece of octopus and a cucumber salad mix, drenched in worchester sauce, 2 beers and got a check for $100. (16% gratuity had already been added on the check when we got it). Surprised at the prices for a meal that was not even that flavorful and especially lacking of any avocado or limes which are very traditional pairing of Mexican seafood! We basicly regretted not going to Red lobster or Joe's Crab shack instead we would've enjoyed a much better meal and ambiance for the price! Shamefully Regrettable! After visiting the streets of woodfield my family and I decided to stop by for a late dinner. At first glance the place seemed alright. We were seated quickly and noticed that only three other tables were taken. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders. I ordered a lemonade and it was so bitter. But I moved past that. Let's move on to the worst part though, the food. This is by far the worst seafood we have ever had. I ordered camarones a la media diabla and the shrimp tasted disgusting. It had a really bad taste and even as I'm writing the review I can't put my finger on the taste. What I do know is that it wasn't good. We also ordered the cucharachas. They were so bad that the plate was left untouched. We noticed some of the shrimp was either old or re-cooked. The service was just as bad as the food. Our waitress seemed annoyed the entire time and never smiled. This has been by far the worst food we've ever had. Our bill was outrageously high and the quality and taste was sickening and distasteful. If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would!! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I ordered a seafood stuffed pepper and I was very pleased. My 8 year old nephew had chicken fingers with fries and he even cleaned his plate which seldom occurs with him. Complimentary chips and salsa with ceviche is a delightful addition to this tasty hideaway. It's not actually hidden, I just don't think people know how awesome it is. Give it a try! read more

Me and my husband always come here for the fish tacos. They are the best. Serve steaming hot with a delicious sauce and veggies on top it's perfect. The fish ceviche is also really good. It comes with the table so be sure to try that out. The staff are always really nice. On Saturdays I think they have karaoke which can be pretty loud so if you want a quiet dinner avoid sat. nights. The food here is rather unique and quite good. Portions are very large, although they are also rather expensive (because they are so large). Cóctel de la casa could easily feed four people; would be nice to order something smaller. But, what we really didn't like was the music. A pair of horrible singers come table side, and they are extraordinarily loud. One little boy started screaming while we were there because it was so loud. We finally left without finishing our dinner because the music was so loud. Ruined what otherwise would have been a nice place. read more
