I was craving a smoothie and Lanikai hit just the spot. I went before work at about 7:40am on a Thursday and the small shop was empty. The employees were attentive and the service was quick. I got a small Java da Hut smoothie and they let you pick between vanilla and chocolate protein powder (I picked chocolate!). Super smooth and delicious. They don't have a lot of seating inside, but lots of outdoor seating available throughout SALT. The drinks and bowls are pretty pricey with my small smoothie being $10+tip, but the ingredients are really good quality. -1 star for the combination of hours (closes at 5pm) and cost. Other than that I love Lanikai Juice & will be back when I budget in another sweet fun treat :)

Parking here is free for an hour. We ordered various acai bowls and they were all very good, Very fresh, & not too sweet. Server at the counter was very helpful and nice. There's not a lot of place to sit here but we got lucky that the previous customer near the window left and we were able to enjoy our acai bowls sitting down.

Forget Jamba juice this is fresh!

Love their acai bowls and love the Salt location. This company is run so intuitively. Appreciate the effort into creating healthy options for their customer.

I would not normally come to this one as it's not near anywhere I run errands but was glad to stop by. Their acai smoothie bowls are always consistently good and always super fresh. Decor is very cute and has lots of little things that I'm sure tourists would love to buy.

Amazingly high-quality and effective smoothies and açaí bowls! One time, one of the green smoothies actually was almost life-saving as I was very low in nutrients for some time (Dr. Green, I think it was). Previously, some of the employees have been rude and even ripped me off when I asked for peanut butter, but most recently, the staff were all great!

One thing to expect: Honolulu is just a bit pricey! These bowls were $30-ishhh for 2! Crazy. Besides that: bowls were fresh and delish! I had other better ones in the island but this was a top contender. My husband gives it a 2 and I give it a 3.5. Service was subpar. Ambiance was chill! Parking: no biggie.

Got there right before they got busy on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly. It's a "made to order" place so it took a little bit of time to make my Açaí Monkey bowl. Well worth the 5-10 min wait! The açaí bowl was filling and delicious. A great snack or meal replacement. This was the Kaka'ako location. There was not a lot of seating in front of the store. There is some seating in the courtyard area. Parking is free for the first hour. So we ended up eating in the car.

It's better than Jamba, but not Robeks. They do serve freshly prepared acai bowls, though. We ordered two extravaganza and an acai monkey bowl. The extravaganza comes with blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. The monkey comes with, you guessed it, bananas and peanut butter. Both get honey if you want it. I'm guessing it's a vegan option. The counter servers and preparers are young kids they are great. No milennial attitude here, haha. So come and enjoy some juices or an acai bowl and also to cool off from the summer heat. Mahalo and enjoy!

I also like the wall painting art.

I think Lanikai Jour is better than other takeaway fresh juice shops. Compared to other juice shops, I think so. Lanikai Juice has a wide variety of menu choices, and the contents and taste are good. On this day, I added vegan protein to celery juice. Another favorite is the ginger drink. When you feel like you might catch a cold, drinking ginger juice boosts your immune system. I also like the interior of the store.

I'm the type of person with food hyperfixations, which means I crave certain foods every day, every meal without fail. Right now, I'm obsessed with açaí bowls. And being in Hawaii? I knew I had to find the best açaí bowl in my limited time on the island. I was on a mission. To be honest, I was a little hesitant of Lanikai Juice because it's a chain. I'm so glad I gave it a shot though, because it was so good and refreshing. The fruit is naturally sweet, the colors of the bowl are gorgeous, and the location is so convenient. (Perhaps too convenient. I ended up coming here on multiple mornings to splurge on breakfast.) The consistency of the açaí is something that I'm really picky about; I don't like it too icy or too melted--it changes the taste for me. That's why I was so happy that Lanikai made it perfectly to my liking! I tried the Açaí Colada, Açaí Monkey, Açaí Extravaganza, and Pitaya Dream. I liked the classic Extravaganza the most, but the Monkey was a formidable contender. Pro tip: add honey! It's such a game changer, trust me. I, of course, tried other highly-rated açaí places on Oahu, but I cannot say I was as impressed; I kept comparing their açaí bowls to the ones at Lanikai, and needless to say, I kept returning to the latter. The establishment is very small, and the waiting area is easily cramped when there's multiple people ordering. However, there's nearby seating in the shopping center, which is a nice place to eat your açaí bowl. The service is also good; one time, they ran out of coconut flakes, so they gave me a honey substitute free of charge. I'm incredibly thankful this happened because the honey addition is so, so good. I've attached three pictures below. Yes, I went there more than three times within the span of 1.5 weeks!

The store had Halloween decorations up. Made the place cute and festive! I ended up getting the açai monkey bowl. It came out quick and was super delicious! The consistency of the açai was smooth and thick, topped with fresh banana, mini chocolate chips, and peanut butter. Felt like I was having dessert. The staff is also very friendly! Nice place to get açai bowls and fresh juice when in the area and looking for a healthy choice. Would recommend.

Lanikai Juice has a great selection of juice, bowls, and smoothies. Everything is made fresh to order and they have generous toppings. I chose the Superfood bowl with acai base - the bowl was a generous size, and the acai was smooth (not icy or runny). Topped with granola, quiona puffs, gogi berries, chia seeds, banana, strawberries - this was a nice fresh breakfast to make up for the recent donut pickups! I went back anotehr day and had the Tropical bowl with added chia seeds. I think I preferred this one as it had more fresh fruit and some shaved coconut. Finally, because I tend to pick a place and eat there a couple of times for breakfast if it's good and easy, I got the Tropical Smoothie. I loved that it had multiple fruits in it (versus just strawberry banana, etc.) mango, pineapple, and it was blended to a good consistency. It held up well for an hour or so while I was sipping and running around the office. I liked from their menu that they have several different bases for smoothies, and a couple of variations on each - so not all non-green smoothies have banana, which I don't always enjoy. Parking in SALT at Kaka'ako with the first hour free. At 8 AM it's pretty easy to get in and out. If you like juice, bowls, or smoothies, it's worth a trip if you're headed into Honolulu!

Da Classic Açaí Bowl! Strawberries and cacao nibs were added.

Super late review -…read more I'm sad. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't. I don't want to be that person when this place has an overall rating of 4.5 but this is just my honest opinion. I got the blue dream and yes it was very ascetically pleasing, but it was just too icy. Before coming to this place i read a couple of reviews that also said the same thing and i didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. There are a lot of flavorless, just regular, small shards of ice in the bowl. On top of that, the moment I received my bowl, it was already borderline melted. So that got me thinking, how can it be melted and icy at the same time? The only explanation that I can think of is just ice additive/fillers. It's not pure cold acai or whatever is in the bowl you choose, but there's a mixture of ice in it too. Yes I understand, it's Waikiki, everything is more expensive, but the added topping prices on top of the already expensive bowl prices just don't make sense. You want a beautiful looking bowl with a lot of different toppings, yet some toppings can go up to 1 dollar PER topping. I don't know if I've just been spoiled by a couple places in SoCal, but at those places they have unlimited toppings and those bowls are the best that there is. I'm not bringing any bias from other locations, but this is just an honest review based on my experience today.

Easily one of the best açaí bowls we've had. The texture was thick and smooth with a great balance of fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and healthy fats from the nuts. Every bite was delicious. // Matcha We ordered both the regular matcha latte with coconut foam and the strawberry matcha latte. I was so disappointed they no longer offer the lilikoi matcha- I know that flavor combination would've been amazing! Hopefully they bring it back someday. The matcha itself was on the lighter side compared to richer ceremonial matchas, but it was still smooth, well-balanced, and not at all astringent. It paired really well with the oat milk, and both drinks were enjoyable. There was a line out the door during breakfast/brunch hours, which shows just how popular this place is. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient, and we were able to grab a small table to dine in. It's located on the upper level of the Royal Hawaiian Center, making it a convenient stop while shopping in Waikiki. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu (hoping the lilikoi matcha will make a comeback too)!
