    The King Cure
    Larene U.

King Cure is my fave omg. Still my go-to spot when I want a healthy green smoothie that tastes great. I love kombucha and the King Cure includes it in the drink so that's probably why I love it so much.. LOL! The indoor seating area is open as well if you want to enjoy your food/drinks inside as opposed to the limited seating area outdoors. Service was quick and you pick it up outside by the window. If you want to enjoy your drink inside you can always go back in.

I got the breakfast tacos with added hot sauce (which had no discernible spice). The food was very good but naan bread tacos are interesting and they were out of napkins in the dispenser so I had to ask for them. The tacos were much better after I added my personal habanero flakes.

This place is awesome! They have deals throughout the week and I especially like the Tuesday and Saturday $16 taco and smoothie! What a steal! I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. I got the Baja Bowl which I felt like the kale needed to be massaged--since it was a little rough to eat--and it needed a tad more dressing. The second time I got the breakfast tacos and mango sticky rice smoothie. The smoothie was really good! The tacos were yummy as well and I think that it would be even better with some picked onions on top. My review is not 5 stars since I do think that the food sometimes lack seasoning. However, this place is a great health food go to spot and I really do enjoy their food. It feels like a great price for the quality of ingredients and food you are getting. I will be back! Count me as a new regular!

I've passed this place a few times and always wanted to try it. It looks like a pretty healthy local menu so I was so happy when my friend wanted to eat here. I'm always worried about parking in Kaimuki but there is a little lot right next to it which makes parking so easy! We went inside to look at the menu and order. And then we went to the window outside to pick up our food. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside as it was a little cooler. Everyone working there seems very nice. I got the Baja bowl and my friend got the surfer bowl. The Baja bowl was so delicious! It has so many good-for-you ingredients but is also filling at the same time. It was so flavorful and I loved it!! I really want to go back and try more things. The smoothies look delicious as well so I'll definitely have to go back!

First time here! Came on a Tuesday and they had a Taco Tuesday special. Any tacos and a smoothie for $15. I got the breakfast tacos and a green smoothie and they were both so good and filling. The service was fast and it's a chill environment. You can eat inside or outside on their patio seating. You order inside and pickup out at the outside window. I will definitely come back to try other foods.

I cannot believe that I have not written a review for Leahi Kaimuki yet. I eat here at least monthly, if not every couple of weeks and some weeks it feels like it's every day. It's quite literally the only place I can rely on to get a good salad that keeps me full that is a reasonable price and I don't feel sick afterwards. They don't put too much dressing on their salads and they have enough options to keep me interested and not bored of eating the same thing all the time and I feel so healthy when I'm done eating at Leahi. Their smoothies are delicious and I love their tacos if I want a little more carbs, everyone is always so friendly and I love going in!

We stopped in for lunch. Casual comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. We split the Thai Crunchy tacos and enjoyed the tasty Mango Sticky Rice & Matcha Muse smoothies. Service was friendly and would definitely recommend the healthy food & smoothies.

    Cilantro lime bacon tacos
    Jazmenn B.

Veggies were fresh and the pita was soft. I was really happy with the tacos I got here; my only thing was I felt like more attention could've been payed to the almonds that were just whole and put on the top of the tacos, it simply wasn't as pleasant as I know it could've been if given just a little tlc and creativity. I ordered the "maple mustard coconut bacon tacos" and changed the sauce because I'm not fond of syrup; I opted for a cilantro lime sauce with some help from the girls that worked here and I was actually really happy how the sauce paired with the tacos. In hindsight I would've added some hot sauce which they offer free on top or for I believe 50 cents on the side. My mom who does not eat vegan often said it was just a salad with bread around it LOL, she's not wrong but I still thought they were yummy and decently filling. At $11 for 2 tacos I'd come back. The service was good, and parking was easy. I found it odd that you have to exit the place where you order and sit at to get your food at the outdoor side window... which to be completely honest while inside in my bliss dancing and living my best life I completely forgot that she instructed me to get my food at the side window luckily Sylvia, the girl that took my order, graciously brought my food out to me. Looking forward to trying their mushroom smoothies one of these Monday's.

    Surfer Tacos
    Minaxi S.

We cane to this place right after hiking the diamond head crater. Pictures in yelp review got me interested but the taste did not live up to the appearance. We got the surfer tacos and thai peanut tacos. Tacos with pita bread is an interesting idea but I did not care for it as much. Still a good spot if looking for vegetarian options in the area. Oh and they don't have restrooms so we went to a coffee shop down the street to buy a coffee. Ambiance was nice with plants and shade especially when sitting outside.

This is my new favorite go to place! I love it here! This is my first time here but the food is so fresh and tasty. The service was amazing. Parking can be a challenge but not impossible. I came on a Tuesday where they have their bargain price of $16 for two tacos and a smoothie. I had the rainbow tacos that have a nice garlicky hummus with crunchy veggies along with a touch of sweetness with the plump blueberries. Along with it, I had the purple rain smoothie with its flavorful sweet fruit and a touch of cinnamon. I'm definitely coming back for more so I can try everything on the menu!!

    Papaya salad bowl
    Anna B.

Tried the papaya salad today and it was a large portion with a nice variety of textural toppings that felt and tasted very fresh and satisfying. Decent price too, and the staff are friendly. Only wished the sauce was spicier and had a stronger flavor, and that the tofu had something more going on- it was just raw cubed tofu with no pan fry or seasoning. Interested to come back for their Taco Tuesday and to try the Baja bowl next time!

There wasn't anyone else waiting, but I waited 23 minutes for my tacos because they forgot my order :( I won't mention what they were talking about inside I also noticed no receipts given the last few times

Starburst smoothie, açaí bowl, beet poke salad
    Chloe L.

The Beet Poke Salad is one of my favorites to get here. Every time I come, the staff is very nice and the food or smoothies come out quickly. I like that you can order online, and they have deals like Taco Tuesday and Saturdays. I do wish there was more variety since a lot of the menu is salads turned into tacos, but the poke salad stands out because it's different. It would also be nice if they had WiFi or made it more of a space to sit, do homework, or read instead of mostly being a grab-and-go spot.

During a visit here with my friends who was visiting from out of town, they both enjoyed their entree with a beer, love the atmosphere- we got to chat and ended up staying until restaurant's closing time. The waitress that day was super friendly, full of Aloha! I love the local foods, everything I tried was very tasty, When dining in I usually go with the 2 item plates, picking all different items ( Lau, Kalua Pork, pork belly, chicekn long rice and sharing family style with extra rice. The food was broke da mouth! During one of my dining visits, I was on my no carb lifesytle and got the Island cobb salad with Kalua Pork ( available in 2 sizes $9./$17.) Lettuce, cucumber, corn, tomato, avocado with Kalua Pig, and sweet onion dressing. Wow, I am glad they have this option for salads. I hope they don't discontinue the Cobb salad as it was so good! During this recent stop I picked up the Pork Belly and Pipikaula plate in short ribs style. This was such a great choice as my family enoyed it . Beer and Pork Belly for pupus and pipikaua ribs for dinner. They have daily specials (beef stew, beef tomato, chicken hekka, sweet sour spare ribs, beef stew, grilled fish, shoyu chicken, garlic shrimp) which sounds good too. You can pick plates in mini or regular, two or three item combo, but few dollars more for crispy pork, smoked meat Pipikaula. I think that you should be able to taste a bit of everything in the sandwich with every bite. There have been times that the pickled red onion was on the skimpy side - like 80% of the time. To me a great sandwich is when everything is evenly spread on the bread (house mayo, hummus, garlic aioli, etc.) and evenly laid out (turkey, chicken, meats, etc.) and not just piled high in the center with the edges bare. Today my Duke sandwich was fantastic! Whoever made it literally had everything evenly spread and laid out on my multigrain bread. The lettuce was over the edges, but who cares. The carved turkey was moist and the bacon had the right amount of crunch. I actually had pickled red onions in every bite and not just a few pieces pulled apart by the layers and spread out on top of the meat. So ditch that Moko Loko and grab yourself a beautiful sandwich from Sprout, you'll feel a lot better about your trip to Hawaii. I love that Sprout has vegetable-forward options even in their meat-based sandwiches. The pesto chicken salad was loaded with beautiful green goodies which made this treat as aesthetically pleasing as it was delectable. They're also slapping down some of the best local Hawaiian ingredients into these here sanguines. The pesto itself was mac-nut based, which was intriguing. I'll be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between that and a pine nut pesto, but it was friggin delish pesto either way. The only downside I can think of is that the bread here lands somewhere between "ok" and "good". I've never had a bread quite like it, but it reminds me of a mix between an artisanal white bread, and a painini bread that you would find in Italy. It got the job done, but I feel like it could be upgraded. Sprout is worth a visit before or after your beach trip. The surrounding neighborhood is also a lively area with tons of fun restaurants and shopping.

It's such a neat take to have char siu in a croissant. We are used to having it in the doughy bao bread but in a croissant, savory with a crunchy outside tastes so much better. I love sweet but this one wasn't overly sweet, who would have thought that mango and chocolate pair so well together. It's the summer months, fresh mango on pastries. It was the perfect ripeness. There was only simple bench seating and high-top counter tables with no chairs. We loved that we could sample some before making a choice.
