Love their smoothies! I tried out Leahi for the first time this weekend because they are part of Clover/Paze restaurants where you can spend $10, get $10 back for a limited time. If you don't know what this is, reach out to me please. Anyhow, I got the brazillian smoothie with acai and a bunch of other ingredients. It tasted super healthy but not too sweet. Also got a $2 shot that fired up my lungs in the name of antioxidants and vitamin C. There was a noticeable amount of ginger and cayenne pepper in it, so keep that in mind. I drank it too fast to have any photos, but I'll definitely be back to try out more smoothies considering they're $8. Good deal! read more

Lunch in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawaii... My friend was hungry and she lives near Kahala Mall. I told her that I had been to Leahi Health Kaimuki in the past and I couldn't find my photos, so I needed to go back. I liked the healthy menu, too... plus, they share a free parking lot with other businesses. Just scan the QR code. Service was efficient and friendly. The gal processed a bunch of people quite quickly! We ordered at the counter, waited inside, and picked up our orders outside. (They have outdoor seating, but it was a very hot August day.) We both got the Tuesday Special: tacos and a smoothie for $16. What a deal because tacos are $12 already and a smoothie is $8. It's like saving $4 when you get the Special! The Morning Mana Smoothie had some coffee in it. Maybe that's why it tasted sour? It couldn't be from the coconut milk or almond butter. Maybe the banana was over ripe? The Rainbow tacos had blueberries which matched the delicious dressing and purple cabbage! The hummus was a bit spicy, but the pita bread, avocado, tomato, and cucumber couldn't balance it out. King Cure is my fave omg. Still my go-to spot when I want a healthy green smoothie that tastes great. I love kombucha and the King Cure includes it in the drink so that's probably why I love it so much.. LOL! The indoor seating area is open as well if you want to enjoy your food/drinks inside as opposed to the limited seating area outdoors. Service was quick and you pick it up outside by the window. I got the breakfast tacos with added hot sauce (which had no discernible spice). The food was very good but naan bread tacos are interesting and they were out of napkins in the dispenser so I had to ask for them. The tacos were much better after I added my personal habanero flakes. read more

This place is awesome! They have deals throughout the week and I especially like the Tuesday and Saturday $16 taco and smoothie! What a steal! I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. I got the Baja Bowl which I felt like the kale needed to be massaged--since it was a little rough to eat--and it needed a tad more dressing. The second time I got the breakfast tacos and mango sticky rice smoothie. The smoothie was really good! The tacos were yummy as well and I think that it would be even better with some picked onions on top. My review is not 5 stars since I do think that the food sometimes lack seasoning. However, this place is a great health food go to spot and I really do enjoy their food. It feels like a great price for the quality of ingredients and food you are getting. I will be back! I've passed this place a few times and always wanted to try it. It looks like a pretty healthy local menu so I was so happy when my friend wanted to eat here. I'm always worried about parking in Kaimuki but there is a little lot right next to it which makes parking so easy! We went inside to look at the menu and order. And then we went to the window outside to pick up our food. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside as it was a little cooler. Everyone working there seems very nice. I got the Baja bowl and my friend got the surfer bowl. The Baja bowl was so delicious! It has so many good-for-you ingredients but is also filling at the same time. I cannot believe that I have not written a review for Leahi Kaimuki yet. I eat here at least monthly, if not every couple of weeks and some weeks it feels like it's every day. It's quite literally the only place I can rely on to get a good salad that keeps me full that is a reasonable price and I don't feel sick afterwards. They don't put too much dressing on their salads and they have enough options to keep me interested and not bored of eating the same thing all the time and I feel so healthy when I'm done eating at Leahi. Veggies were fresh and the pita was soft. I was really happy with the tacos I got here; my only thing was I felt like more attention could've been payed to the almonds that were just whole and put on the top of the tacos, it simply wasn't as pleasant as I know it could've been if given just a little tlc and creativity. I ordered the "maple mustard coconut bacon tacos" and changed the sauce because I'm not fond of syrup; I opted for a cilantro lime sauce with some help from the girls that worked here and I was actually really happy how the sauce paired with the tacos. In hindsight I would've added some hot sauce which they offer free on top or for I believe 50 cents on the side. My mom who does not eat vegan often said it was just a salad with bread around it LOL, she's not wrong but I still thought they were yummy and decently filling. At $11 for 2 tacos I'd come back. The service was good, and parking was easy. I found it odd that you have to exit the place where you order and sit at to get your food at the outdoor side window... which to be completely honest while inside in my bliss dancing and living my best life I completely forgot that she instructed me to get my food at the side window luckily Sylvia, the girl that took my order, graciously brought my food out to me. We cane to this place right after hiking the diamond head crater. Pictures in yelp review got me interested but the taste did not live up to the appearance. We got the surfer tacos and thai peanut tacos. Tacos with pita bread is an interesting idea but I did not care for it as much. Still a good spot if looking for vegetarian options in the area. Oh and they don't have restrooms so we went to a coffee shop down the street to buy a coffee. Ambiance was nice with plants and shade especially when sitting outside. read more

This is my new favorite go to place! I love it here! This is my first time here but the food is so fresh and tasty. The service was amazing. Parking can be a challenge but not impossible. I came on a Tuesday where they have their bargain price of $16 for two tacos and a smoothie. I had the rainbow tacos that have a nice garlicky hummus with crunchy veggies along with a touch of sweetness with the plump blueberries. Not a huge fan of vegan tacos, the flavour profile is usually really similar and a bit one-dimensional to me, these were better than most vegan tacos I've ever had. We normally order from this location as it is close to our work. We ordered the breakfast taco , kale avocado taco, and my daughter ordered the Baja bowl (not pictured ). We took photos at the end because we forgot before hand. My co-worker was almost finished with her avocado taco and bit into a small metal piece of a clip that was inside like something was opened and may have broke off while they prepared the food . She no longer wants to order food from here for fair that she'll have something dangerous inside of her food again both my daughter and I had wonderful food, but I'm giving two stars for the fact that something dangerous was left inside of her taco. Plus she also said she had kale and no avocado, and it was advertised as a kale avocado taco. More attention should be made when preparing food. Luckily my friend did not get hurt from this incident. She sent a picture to the leahi email listed since they only have an answering machine recording that tells you no phone orders and to email for question or concerns. 3.75 Fave açaí bowls so far: Da cove and lanikai. Leahi was too sweet for me, but I liked how icy the açaí bowl was. Kind of like eating a blended popsicle? Definitely better than Nalu, which was beautiful and covered with fruit, but too sweet. (Note: I *did* order it with less agave). The savory foods and smoothies look so good and would return for that! Now that they've taken over the old veg stand, ordering is not done at the open window, you need to go inside to place your order and come back outside to pick up. Giving 2 stars just for the Green Monster smoothie, which is pretty good! The food is not great. I'm always hopeful to find something yummy, but am disappointed every time I try a new dish there. Most of their food is overstuffed with red cabbage. It's about $17 for the mock tuna bowl, and when I received it, I was shocked to find mostly veggies and rice and ONE TEENY TINY spoonful of chick pea "tuna". They should change the name to Mixed Salad with Chickpea Tuna Topping. I asked why it's so expensive and we get barely any tuna, and the cashier explained that the tuna is hard to make and involves an extensive process, which didn't seem accurate. "Yup, they're good!" Here it is, the start of the year and everyone's trying to eat healthier. It makes sense to see what's out there. There are luckily a great deal of options to explore the world of healthy eating. Right here in Kaimuki Town, Leahi Health Kaimuki is located in the building that once housed Zane's Market, CakeLand, and JJ Bistro. They are located next to a Thai mini mart. They have been a long time presence in Kaimuki and focus on tasty sweet or savory soft taco offerings and delicious smoothies and drinks. Who would have thought a smoothie with beets and acai, carrots, orange, pineapple and chia would taste so refreshing. The deep purple smoothie was great! That with a rainbow taco which has carrot, Japanese cabbage, onion hummus and other goodies made for a delicious savory veggie delight. The third delight was their Leahi Keiki Sweet- which consists of a warm pita with almond butter, blueberries and agave drizzle. They though in some fruit slices too. They have a take out counter and some places to sit. The staff is friendly and the area is clean. Each of the orders bought today can definitely stand on their own. Vegetarian does not just mean munching on a celery stick with a glass of carrot juice.
