I treat myself to an 80 minute Signature Lomi Lomi Massage on every visit! This time around, I booked a Couples Massage for my hubby and I. We were in the same treatment room getting our massages. We really enjoyed our treatments and the 80 minutes just flew by! The masseuses were extremely professional and made sure we were both comfortable abd relaxed throughout our time there. This is a must do on each visit to Aulani!

Spa and salon highlighting Hawaiian massage, relaxing pools, and steam, sauna and hydrotherapy rooms. Using ancient Hawaiian healing traditions, the Laniwai Spa offers a large variety of body treatments, facials and massages in their beautiful new space. I wish I had more time there! I enjoyed all the amenities! I booked online (so easy) and got the LomiLomi 80 (wow)!

We had a couple's lomi lomi massage. It was great! The amenities are amazing. Unfortunately they limit patrons to an hour before and an hour after their treatment. Most places give access for the whole day. I'd recommend the spa to have ppl whisper when they are talking to each other in the hallway. It was overall a nice couple's experience. I love the showers and jacuzzi's. I just wish I had more time to enjoy it all. They also have a relaxation room with massage chairs that I didn't have time to sit in.

January 2025 - My mom and I treated ourselves to 80-minute Lomi Lomi massages at Laniwai during our last trip to Aulani. From the moment we walked in, it was a relaxing, lovely experience. We didn't have much time to enjoy the gardens before our services as we upgraded to longer massages at the last minute, but the staff informed us we could stay after to enjoy the pools, rain showers, cold plunge and hot tub, sauna, and steam room afterwards. My massage itself was wonderful and I appreciated the choice to pick my music and lotion scent - I only wish Disney music was a choice as well! My massage therapist also asked me about pressure several times throughout. The 80 minutes went by very quickly! I enjoyed the gardens and steam room after my massage, and enjoyed some of the infused waters and light snacks too! I highly recommend making time to do this if staying at Aulani or if you are in the area. I'll be back next time I visit.

Everything was worth it!!!! 4 pools including jacuzzi , 6 different hydrotherapy showers, several massage chairs, sauna and eucalyptus steam room. The steam room alone was cleansing inside and out! Locker rooms with showers, restrooms, and private changing rooms. Toiletries are available. Snacks and water stations provided. Robes, slippers and towels. Swimsuits required. I highly recommend using your robe only when it's time for your service.

The extra part of the spa is that you get to use the hot jacuzzi and plunge pool next to it to stimulate your circulation. They tell you to show up an hour before your appointment to experience the outdoor facilities. The only thing was, I could smell fried food in the garden, so they should vent the food from the restaurant somewhere else. There are also rocks that you could walk on for a stimulating foot massage. I booked the Lomi lomi signature massage: Awesome massage, long strokes with hot stone. You can choose from several scents: Lavender, pineapple, and some other ones I don't recall. I chose the pineapple of course because Hawaii. I loved the scent so much I bought a bottle of lotion, which is the Maui pineapple brand they sell everywhere in the resorts. So relaxing, so luxurious.

First time staying at Aulani to celebrate hubby's birthday and Babymoon. I've decided to get 80mins prenatal message. I made appointment about 2 weeks prior of arrival and glad I was able to get afternoon session. Wish I would take more pictures but I was so amazed with the customer services provided by everyone at the spa and the ambience of this place. Everything so clean, smell amazing with Hawaiian aroma and the set up of the rooms from preparation of changing clothes, bathrooms and showers also waiting room area with fancy orthopedic chairs while we waited for our massage therapy called us in. Simply amazing! I fell asleep throughout the massage and my tech was very professional. Definitely recommend this place. It's not cheap but you get that wonderful experience for every cents you spent!

However Jennifer at OMAJ managed to hit every spot, offering relief! The rooms are open air and located at the golf course. I actually loved hearing the little "tink" of people hitting at the driving range. The room was full the sounds of tranquil eastern bells and wind chimes. The ambience reminded me of massages in Bali and Thailand. Jennifer was excellent at finding the tension spots and working them out (without too much pain). While not the cheapest massage ever, the 90 minutes for $195 were a combination of massage, chiropracticphysical therapy, myofascial, and yoga stretching. Overall- definitely worth it! I'll be back!

Attempted to contact by phone several times why I was unable to set up appointment (via online, only option) without providing my CC number and information as I had VA referral number for payment. No reply ever, against better judgement provided information to schedule appointment. Upon arrival at new location: dirty empty room in old barracks with a suspiciously looking (dirty) bed sheet on table. Thought oh well I'm already here, give it a try, might be a good deep tissue massage. 30 minutes later I knew better. Worst massage I have ever had. Maybe their town location is better, and their Ko Olina Location is closed. Vets beware, upon bringing this to the attention of the vets advocate was informed that in their records this business was located in Ko Olina and not a old barracks room in Barbers Point.

There are plenty of beautiful spas in Hawaiʻi, but true hospitality is becoming increasingly rare…read more Spa by the Sea quietly delivers both. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The setting in Ko Olina is peaceful without trying too hard, the staff are gracious, and every detail reflects genuine care rather than manufactured luxury. It's the kind of place that understands quality doesn't need to announce itself. My treatment(s) were exceptional, thoughtful, unhurried, and tailored to exactly what I needed. I left feeling restored instead of simply pampered, which is a distinction many spas miss. I've found that the best experiences are the ones that make you forget about the outside world for a while, and this was certainly one of them. Spa by the Sea has earned a place on my short list of destinations I'll happily return to whenever I'm in Ko Olina. Five stars without hesitation. Pro Tip... if you're simply visiting the resort for the spa, they validate for valet parking

My husband had a 50-minute facial (which he enjoyed), and I had a 50-minute lomi lomi massage with Arlene, who was fantastic! My session was perfect, I just wish it were longer! My treatment was in one of the outdoor relaxation tents. You can hear some pool noise, but it doesn't take away from the experience. As for the charges, you can pay with a card or put it to your room. We put the charges to our room, but the only caveat with that is you can't leave a tip on the receipt because there isn't a gratuity line where you can add it. I felt bad I couldn't give Arlene the tip she deserved.. so just a heads up! If you have time and are in the area, give them a try!

My rating is between 4-5 stars. I'd normally round up but I think the cons are worth noting…read more Pros: My daughters and I enjoyed a spa day and all of our technicians were terrific. The spa lap pool was great too as many spas don't have a good size pool, if at all. This was a smaller lap pool but still a huge plus. Cons: The spa amenities (women's jacuzzi, sauna, locker room) were still quite dated. I had hoped the recent updates would have updated the amenities to the four seasons caliber but sadly, no. The women's jacuzzi area is dark with only the natural lighting from the ceiling skylights which were quite dirty. The sauna was old and not spa clean, which is also a disappointment. The showers were also showing their age with chipped tiles, rust and general deferred maintenance which was surprising. The spa pool had 5 chaise lounges so I'm not sure how they accommodate spa guests by the pool on busier days. There's no attendant on the spa pool floor, towels were piled on the floor and the bathroom was unkempt. Overall, I'd choose the Aulani spa next door, which was surprisingly superior and tranquil. The only thing lacking at the Aulani spa was a spa pool.

I used almost all amenities excluding the pool and cold plunge. The snacks they offer were very limited compared to other spas I've been to, there were apples, matcha coconut, and chocolate dates. They offered water and a pineapple chamomile tea drink, that's about it. The attendant was a little overbearing, as I was there to relax and unwind, she kept asking if I was okay or needed anything and when I did ask, she made it seem like she was too busy. The service was too short, I feel like I didn't get 50 minutes worth of a massage but it is what it is. I spent lots of time in the garden and it's what I absolutely needed, so zen and so with nature. Would I come back? Sure, but I do want to try the Laniwai spa first, as I've heard great things.
