All I…read morewanted for my birthday over the weekend of July 26th was a great massage, and my partner gifted us both the 50-minute Couples Signature Lomilomi, adding on the $30 deep-tissue upgrade for each of us. Here are the highlights from our visit: -Pre-Treatment Amenities: We were advised to arrive an hour early to enjoy the spa facilities, which set the tone for total relaxation. Between the soothing outdoor hydrotherapy garden, peaceful lounge spaces, infused waters, and warm atmosphere, taking full advantage of the amenities is a must. -The Massage Experience: Adding the deep tissue upgrade to the Signature Lomilomi massage was worth every penny. The massage therapists were incredible at working out every bit of tension, leaving us feeling completely rejuvenated. -Thoughtful Touch: Selecting a smooth intention stone (mine was "Happiness") at the start was such a beautiful, grounded detail that made the experience extra memorable. If you're celebrating a special occasion or just need deep relaxation while staying at Aulani, treat yourself to Laniwai Spa--it is worth every cent and I highly recommended!

My rating is between 4-5 stars. I'd normally round up but I think the cons are worth noting…read more Pros: My daughters and I enjoyed a spa day and all of our technicians were terrific. The spa lap pool was great too as many spas don't have a good size pool, if at all. This was a smaller lap pool but still a huge plus. Cons: The spa amenities (women's jacuzzi, sauna, locker room) were still quite dated. I had hoped the recent updates would have updated the amenities to the four seasons caliber but sadly, no. The women's jacuzzi area is dark with only the natural lighting from the ceiling skylights which were quite dirty. The sauna was old and not spa clean, which is also a disappointment. The showers were also showing their age with chipped tiles, rust and general deferred maintenance which was surprising. The spa pool had 5 chaise lounges so I'm not sure how they accommodate spa guests by the pool on busier days. There's no attendant on the spa pool floor, towels were piled on the floor and the bathroom was unkempt. Overall, I'd choose the Aulani spa next door, which was surprisingly superior and tranquil. The only thing lacking at the Aulani spa was a spa pool.

I used almost all amenities excluding the pool and cold plunge. The snacks they offer were very limited compared to other spas I've been to, there were apples, matcha coconut, and chocolate dates. They offered water and a pineapple chamomile tea drink, that's about it. The attendant was a little overbearing, as I was there to relax and unwind, she kept asking if I was okay or needed anything and when I did ask, she made it seem like she was too busy. The service was too short, I feel like I didn't get 50 minutes worth of a massage but it is what it is. I spent lots of time in the garden and it's what I absolutely needed, so zen and so with nature. Would I come back? Sure, but I do want to try the Laniwai spa first, as I've heard great things.

The best part is the alone time on the lanai with their selection of organic pupus and champagne and that blanket. NOTHING in the world compares to this place. As you walk towards the spa entrance you enter a zen zone with a beautiful waterfall and stones. The spa features a serene outside relaxation lounge, with breathtaking ocean views. There is Hawaiian Mamaki tea (hibiscus/mint), dried fruits, pumpkin seeds, and nuts. Also fruit infused water. Inside the women's locker room there is a large dry sauna, 2 showers with eucalyptus and lavender hanging to provide a relaxing shower. Amenities such as natural spray deodorant, combs, hair ties, tampons, dry shampoo, de-tangling conditioning spray, body lotion, razors, and a sample body scrub you can use. They also have make up remover wipes. The spa was very clean and well maintained. The best part not crowded at all! Their prices are a bit high, perk is they offer a 15% military and local discount. This is the only spa on the island that provides an ocean side spa experience. I received my aromatherapy massage in an outside hut. It was so calming to hear the ocean waves, the breeze was a bonus as well. My masseuse was great! I told her where I was having pain and she targeted those areas. She really put some work in and still made me feel good. I was offered an enhancement treatment. I chose the scalp massage. It is a revitalizing treatment. It was amazing. The whole experience was great from the moment we walked through the doors till we left.

I'm so glad I found this gem! The location is super easy to find right off Farrington in Waipahu. It's definitely hard to miss, but also in a spot you wouldn't expect. From the moment I walked in, I was surprised by how clean, spotless, spacious, and relaxing the entire place felt. Such a vibe! The ladies were all so kind and welcoming. The massage rooms are big, comfortable, and cold with AC, which made it even more relaxing once I stepped inside. Music was super relaxing too. Even the bathroom was spotless and fully stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. Now for the massage itself -- hands down the BEST massage I've ever had. And I've been to some big-name places before, but this completely blew them out of the water. The pressure was perfect, and I walked out feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the week. The prices are super affordable too. Definitely bring cash if you can so you don't get taxed. They even offer bottled water on your way out, which was such a nice touch. Even though I could hear a few cars driving by with loud music outside (probably some lifted yotas lol), the massage was so good that it honestly didn't bother me at all. I highly recommend this place over and over again. I'm definitely coming back and so happy I found this spot. Thank you, Ally, for such a wonderful first-time experience!

So I just had to write a review so people can avoid this place!!. I get a massage once or twice a…read moremonth so I've been everywhere. So I know what a good massage is and what a very bad one is. Location: parking in the front but sketchy area. I should have known with the blinking lights outside. Is this a club or a spa? Not sure... Interior: same as outside it had blue lighting, relaxing but way too much. The bathroom wasn't clean. No smell though throughout so that was pleasant. Cost: $70/hour Massage: This is where it became a one star. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this lady that gave me a massage was not licensed. She had not idea if she was coming or going. She had no idea what she was doing. She started on my head then went to my back for a few minutes then went to my legs then to my feet. She came back to my back and was pushing down on it, like she was kneading on flour. Then she stopped decided to get on the table and use her elbow which wasn't going to normal places on my back. So I politely asked her if I could stop the massage and I'll pay for the time that I stayed. She said "just tell me" what I wanted. So I asked her what kind of massage I was getting? A Swedish one a Thai massage? She said Chinese. So reluctantly I continued. I regret staying, not because of the type of massage but because the entire massage was a mass confusion of pressures, pushing down on various points that didn't feel good, I felt like she was guessing. I don't even know.. I don't have words. The best way I can explain it, is asking a friend or someone who isn't a masseuse to give you a massage and you immediately want them to stop. I didn't leave relaxed that's for sure. The entire time just pushing down on my body instead of giving me a massage. But wait there's more.. so at the end of the massage, i went to pay and she asked how much , I told her please charge $80 to my card.. she looked at me and asked me to give more?!!!! She said maybe $15!! I stared at her for a minute and just said "sure" I was so pissed and confused. So I ended up giving her 20%!! I have never ever ever in my life had anyone ask me to give them more tip especially when they didn't deserve it. I was mouth wide open and even more confused, I mean where am I that I'm being asked for more tip Hands down the WORST massage I've ever had!! Guys, please stay away from this place! You'll leave confused and feeling like you never got a massage and paid $88. All I could think of was what I could have bought with my hard earned $88 dollars! If you've have a bad massage before you know what I mean when I say that.
